  • The staff was very friendly and overall the hotel was very clean.
  • Our room overlooked a parking garage. We were not allowed to upgrade and would have been nice to have a view of the resort area we came to see.

“My first impression of the hotel was a good one. The staff was friendly and the lobby was gorgeous. However, our room was located on a far corner of the hotel. It overlooked a parking garage which was not so desirable. We traveled to a resort area and would have liked to at least have a view of the ocean, but when we inquired we were told we could not upgrade. The rooms appearance was very nice, however it had a stale musty odor much like an ashtray. The hotel had posted a notice that it had recently converted to a non-smoking hotel, and from the odor and burns in the carpet it was apparent this had been one of it's former smoking rooms. I don't believe I would choose to stay at this particular hotel in the future.”

“This is a very nice hotel, we stayed during bike week-weekend, and they treated everyone with respect and class. Top-notch staff. Room service was excellent. Try the warm brownie w/ ice cream. Would stay again for sure.”

  • Great staff, Great location. With your typical shampoo, conditioner, etc, you shower gel and one of those fluffy things.
  • Absolutely nothing I didn't like.

“The Sheraton has done it again. This is an exceptional hotel. As one who travels often and has stayed in some of the best to some of the worst, the expectations that most have of Sheraton hotels is high. This one is no exception. Well apportioned bathroom and tub/shower, great amenities, marble counters, very comfortable rooms.”

  • No inside entrance to the garage and not beach side.

“Our experience was very good here. Excellent room and very clean. Upon check in we went to our room but it had not been serviced yet. We called the front desk and a bell man brought a key for another room immediately. I assume the room had just been missed and it was not an inconvenience for us. The hotel gave us complimentary breakfast buffet tickets for the next morning which was not necessary. Excellent beds!”

  • Very nice lobby area.
  • The pillow top beds are over-rated, not as comfortable as you would think. Parking garage in bad shape.

“I probably would never go back to this hotel simply because it is a 15 minute walk to the beach. And when you do park your car at the hotel they do not have an attached parking deck to the hotel, meaning you have to walk around and in front of the hotel to enter. The parking deck is also dirty and I felt somewhat unsafe walking back to the hotel every night.”

“The location of this hotel will scare some people away, It's 4 blocks to the beach, well within walking distance. And 5 blocks to Broadway at the beach. A great location. There is a $5.00 per day parking charge (which is uncommon for most hotels at Myrtle Beach). One thing that I did notice this hotel doesn't seem to have wear and tear of most hotels on the beach hotels. Very well maintained (I believe to to the lack of salt water and wind and also not many teenagers here.”

  • There was an indoor pool, nice lobby where I spent early morning hours looking through magazines b/c I couldn't sleep. Comfy bedding and clean.
  • A very loud group was in the bar area that was open to the lobby until after2am. They were annoying.

“Good service, nice people checked on me in lobby to make sure I was ok while reading in early morning hours. Easy check in and out. Pool was nice for the kids. Liked coffee in the room. Prices at restaurant were way high. We went down the block to eat instead. Comfortable and clean place.”

  • The locality to attractions was fantastic.
  • The hallway noise was a little loud during the morning.

“Last minute trip with the kids and was originally a little disappointed that we could not get something directly on the beach. However, we found the location of the hotel to be ideal. Just a couple of blocks away from some great attractions and centrally located to great dining. As it turns out the beach was not too far away either. The beds are very comfortable and the room very clean. The hallway noise was a little loud during the a.m., but that was more the fault of guest who lacked the courtesy to realize there were other people on the floor probably still sleeping not the fault of the hotel. Would certainly stay there again and would recommend to others.”

  • Room smelled a little funny but most hotel rooms do!

“We got a great place for the money. The staff was friendly, the room was amazing, and the hotel itself felt really safe and convenient. We loved the plush beds with all the pillows, and the view of the beach and the coastline was amazing! When we got there, we were assigned a king room on a lower floor facing the parking lot, and just by asking we were able to trade for a 10th floor room with double beds and an ocean view. My husband & I took our 3 small children with us, and it was truly the best & most comfortable hotel stay that we have ever had with our family! We would definitely stay at the Sheraton again and will recommend it to others!”

“While checking in, we discovered that we could either pay $5 a day for parking, $10 a day for valet parking or make a trek to the free parking behind the Convention Center. We opted to walk. The room was comfortable. The hotel is centrally located.”

“Hotel is centrally located in Myrtle Beach and is close to the beach and shopping/restaurants. The rooms were very nice and had very comfortable and soft beds. The rooms had some nice touches like a clock radio with a CD player (nice for playing my child's bedtime music). Public areas were very clean (including the parking garage) and attractive. Worst part of the hotel stay: the exorbitant charges to use the internet and the lack of Wi-Fi technology.”

  • The rooms were not sound proof to the outside halls and we were disturbed by partiers.

“The hotel was lovely. The rooms perfect. I would have preferred a king or queen bed instead of two doubles. The staff was nice but hands off. They did respond immediately to our call for help when a fight broke out in the room next door to us. They were very responsive. Immediately! Check in was fast and check out was faster. The only down side was the non sound proof rooms and parking was a nightmare because we drive a Tahoe and the parking garage was small and tight.”

  • The security and noise level on our floor was terrible. We got little to no sleep unit 4 am both nights, and were woken up by a fight at 5:30 am 1st.

“The hotel was extremely crowded, which is to be expected of a vacation spot. The staff was extreme friendly; location was nice; appearance was great. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent. The amenities were poorly monitored as we had children jumping into the pool and the hot tub on us. There was little to no security and noise level on our floor was terrible. The LAN did not work in our room and when we called down for assistance they referred us to a 1 800, so, I held for 30 minutes and gave up. We got little to no sleep until 4 am both nights, and were woken up by a fight at 5:30 am on the 1st. We complained and the desk person down stairs stated there was nothing he could do, but we could call corporate and they might comp us a free night. I decided not to call; I did not want another night of the same thing.”

“The professional and helpfulness of the staff is just one of the things that set this hotel apart from the lower star hotels. It was the cleanest facility we have stayed at in Myrtle beach, thus far (we average 6 visits a year to the beach). This hotel normally is out of my price range, but had an awesome experience.”
