• Wonderful rooms, memory foam or pillow top mattress, well decorated.
• Parking garage, especially at night.

“The hotel was great. Keep in mind that the elevators in the parking deck do not connect directly with the hotel in case of traveling alone or at night. So park at the front to unload luggage then move the car.”

• High quality, with easy access to the beach.
• Parking garage needs cleaning.

“This is our second stay at this Sheraton. Both were off season stays. This high quality place that is just blocks from public beach access. It is much higher quality than many higher priced beach front locations. Great rooms, nice pool. Card secure access to elevators gives a sense of security too.”

• The fitness center.
• The ice bucket in our room was filled with water and wasn’t cleaned.

“Sheraton was suppose to be a better place but it wasn’t, the room wasn’t through cleaned, ice bucket filled with water. When checking out they charged extra for parking, said that there was a parking fee had to argue with manager to take the charge off.”

• Comfortable bed and great water pressure, central location.
• Hot tub and pool were less than expected, after being in hot tub saw mold by filter.

“Great location, very comfortable rooms and bed. Nice bar/restaurant. Pool area and hot tub need repair and better cleaning. Did not like the system to having to use your room key card to access floors on the elevator.”

• Clean, attractive, free parking, close to everything.
• Parking garage does not directly connect to the hotel. Dirty elevator with a funky smell.

“Great hotel if you don't mind staying away from the beach front. It is close to everything and the staff were very friendly. The pool and hot tub were dirty and to pool is not heated or at least not heated enough. The parking is free but walking from your car to the hotel is not the best adventure. Walking from the garage to the hotel feels like you're walking through a dirty factory with loud exhaust fans making it even more creepy as well as the dirty garage elevator with a very odd bad smell makes you feel like you're staying at a 1-star hotel. Once you're in the lobby the feeling goes away and you're back in a 3.5 start hotel.”

• I didn't like that housekeeping took our sons sappy cup and threw it away.

• Close proximity to Broadway at the beach and walked with 3 & 6 year old to beach 2 blocks away.
• Pool facilities in poor shape.

“We stayed here for 2 nights on labor day weekend with our 3 & 6 yr old - easy 2 block walk to the beach and convenient (1 mile or so) to shopping at Broadway at the Beach. The pool was very small. Parking garage is detached from the hotel so not very convenient and a bit dark for late night arrival. Our room was clean and comfortable but the hallway carpets were stained and there was a large stain on one of the walls in our room from a drink. By far, the noisiest hotel we have stayed in. Hotel staff was very helpful.”

“The staff was great and the room was very comfortable and really clean. I was a little surprised that they closed the pool at 10 pm when they didn't utilize a lifeguard, so it was swim at your own risk anyway.”

• It was clean and pretty, and towels were provided for the pool and gym.
• The room was small and the parking garage was inconvenient to get to.

“I was disappointed for the fact that the hotel was three blocks from the ocean. The Convention Center we ended up with was of course catered more toward business folks than our 5-member family. There was no bathtub so my 4-year-old had to quickly learn how to shower. There was no foldout or couch so all 3 kids slept together. We had to cross busy streets to reach the grand strand, the ocean, and the parking garage. Not great when lugging bags and towels and hustling little kids along. Strangely, the upper levels of the parking garage have doorways leading to the upper levels of the hotel, but these doors are all locked or otherwise made inaccessible, and you have no choice but to go back down and across the busy streets. One other small thing - the food in Vidalia's breakfast buffet was lukewarm, and the restaurant itself was freezing.”

• Very noisy hallways during early morning hours due to huge gap beneath door.

“This hotel met and exceeded our expectation! Beds were very comfortable (down comforter, down pillow top, and down pillows). There was a big world traveler convention at the hotel when we got there and they were overbooked with people but our room was just as we had ordered! :) The 2 block walk to the beach was not hard and we had a wonderful view of the beach from the 6th floor window. Overall we were very pleased with this hotel. Also, this hotel is very pet friendly! If you do not like dogs do not stay here. We love dogs so that was wonderful surprise to find out! I would definitely stay here again!”

“This hotel was great! The hotel staff was very helpful. They allowed pets without having to pay an additional fee for the "assumption" the pet may cause extra work for maintenance and/or housekeeping. It was not terribly far from the beach but far enough that we were not dealing with loud cars and loud noises that you would hear down on the strip. It was quiet. Beds were comfortable. I can not say enough good things about this hotel!”

• Rooms were nice.
• It was not kid friendly, no exterior pools, no beach shuttle, staff was not knowledgeable.

“This hotel is not kid-friendly. There are not any exterior pools. It is not within walking distance to the beach. The shuttle wouldn't take us to the beach. The staff wasn't able to offer any options concerning beach access or parking. I asked for directions to Kingston Plantation and the staff couldn't give me information on those either. They were very unhelpful. We left and went to Embassy Suites.”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• The darken shade didn't really work and the room was warmer than I like.

“For the price I would stay again, the lobby is spacious and the staff was very nice, the room was very nice and the view was great. I would recommend this for friends and family, it is very close to Broadway and the MB Pelicans stadium, we were about 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and could see the ocean from our room. The only down side is there was a family reunion going and the pool was always over occupied to really enjoy.”

• The refrigerator was not working. Wine/beer got hot. But staff replaced it the next day.

“Do not choose this hotel if you want to be able to walk to the beach. The walls are paper thin, you can hear absolutely everything that is said and done outside your room. On the upside, room service was great; the food was excellent and it was delivered very quickly. Great for business travelers, not for leisure travelers.”

“I personally do not believe this hotel should be considered a 4 star hotel. The room lacked a microwave. The bathroom lacked a ceiling fan. The location is not very good. A few of the light fixtures were burned out in the room. I do not consider this hotel to be above a 3 star hotel. The room was very clean which was nice.”
