• Nothing.
• Pool area old and small. Our room smelled, was too small and we had to wipe down bathroom with Lysol wipes.

“If you're a college student wanting a cheap hotel that's halfway decent, then it's ok. Otherwise, avoid.”

• Modern, new, great breakfast- make your own waffles, friendly staff, helpful, exceeded our expectations.
• Check in was scheduled for 4 pm but they let us check in early.

• Excellent location (safe and convenient). Also very clean and friendly.
• The continental breakfast could have been a little better.

“Perfect location. It is in a very safe, central location to all the attractions in the area. The hotel appears to be nearly new. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Mount Pleasant.”

• The staff (desk and cleaning) was incredible. They were friendly and helpful.
• The room was crowded. Too tiny!

“This hotel is nicely located. We were able to get to historical locations on both sides of the Cooper River quickly and easily as the hotel is less than a mile from the Mt. Pleasant side of the Cooper River bridge.”

• The staff was great and the salt water fish tank thrilled our 7 year old daughter.
• Towels were not left on the 2nd day and we to use hand towels to dry off before going to a wedding.

• Location, staff, and convenience of parking as well as continental breakfast.
• Some basic services were poor or failed.

“The hotel was clean with an excellent breakfast and was conveniently located. However, I could not get the water faucet to adjust to the cold setting, and the TV shorted out leaving a very strong burnt wire odor for awhile, leaving me with no TV and a concern about fire. Though I informed the staff the next morning, I was not offered any discount or other "free room" incentive or apology. As a result, I would not recommend this hotel to a friend.”

• Cleanliness, staff was very helpful and friendly, great continental breakfast each morning which the staff kept well supplied.
• Toilet paper holder located on the other wall from toilet which made it hard to reach.

“Overall great experience at this hotel. Very clean, breakfast each morning was well-supplied. Staff was helpful and courteous. Rooms were quiet and well maintained. Beds were as comfortable as can be for hotels. Pool was clean. excellent location from Charleston sites, beach, and dining (Sticky Fingers BBQ within walking distance as well as the new Arthur J Ravenel Bridge). For the price, this hotel was a steal!”

• Excellent location, friendly staff, and great value.
• Bathroom could have been cleaned better.

“Our overall experience with this hotel was very good. For the reasonable rate we were charged per night, we were very pleased. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was not overly spacious, but totally adequate to sleep after a long day of sight seeing. We would stay here again.”

• Close to patriot point.
• Small room, no internet access in room, cheap towels, staff somewhat rude, ran out of breakfast food.

“This hotel is fine if you are on a family trip with kids. Do not stay here if you are on business. Rooms are small and cramped, towels need to be upgraded. It is very close to patriots point. I thought it was over priced. Should be classified as an economy hotel.”

• Pool was not open for three days of my visit.

• Room choice was not reserved, had to return to desk for room change.

“Nice location - Room type was not reserved - returned to desk to ask for the type of room that was reserved - the receptionist did exchange the room but did no seemed pleased about it - we did enjoy our visit - quiet atmosphere.”
