• Nice location, friendly staff, good restaurant.
• The rooms smelled musty.

“The hotel was good - great location, friendly staff, etc. The only thing I did not like was the musty smell in the room. There was no fan in the bathroom which probably adds to the moisture problem. My sheets almost felt wet it was so damp in the room.”

• We got a smoking room and could not be moved, small, felt like a Super 8 not a Radisson.

“We came in late and on a holiday, but I was not expecting a small, smoky room at a Radisson hotel. The fridge needed defrosting (which we did), since it made noise all night and kept waking us up. I expect a quality room. We asked for another room. I don't see that this should have made a difference in the early morning, since we could have taken a room from someone had not yet arrived. We did not have a TV remote when we arrived. We called and one was brought right up, it did not work, but they went to another room and swapped out the remote in that room and that remote did work. Very shortly the desk called to see if we had gotten the remote and if it was working ok. That was good service. Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced for the type of hotel we were staying at.”

• Beds were very comfortable, nice pool area. Great view.
• No continental breakfast.

“Very nice hotel even without the continental breakfast. Beds were sleep number and possibly the most comfortable bed I have had in a hotel. Upgrade of TV to flat screen would put it in line with other hotels of this same grade I have stayed in. Overall a very positive experience.”

• The river of the river and river walk was fabulous!
• Nothing - all was great.

“Friendly greeters, great restaurant/bar with friendly waiters/waitresses, room was in clean condition. Only thing we didn't get to work was the sleep number bed, to where we would have been impressed with it. Otherwise, everything was great - thank you!”

“The Radisson was beautifully situated along the Mississippi River; perfect for early evening walking and within easy access of many fine restaurants. My room was very clean, though small with a not-so-scenic view of the parking lot, and featured an overly complicated inflatable king-sized bed. The indoor pool and spa area was a unadorned, concrete, Spartan affair, quite in contrast to the arboretum.”

• It didn't have any relaxing outdoor spaces for eating or drinking.

“This hotel is located on the Mississippi river and offers a very nice view with easy access to a park and walkways. It does lack a nice outdoor area for casual dining and drinking which for it's location on the river would have been very nice to have.”

• Gate to exit parking was not working - caused a delay.

“Friendly check in. Room was clean and most likely recently updated. Parking is free with a controlled entrance and exit. The restaurant had a beautiful view of the Mississippi with above average food at a reasonable rate for breakfast.”

• The 'sleep number bed' was great.
• The door to what used to be the concierge office was open, inside was a bit of a mess.

“The Hotel is in a great location downtown & next to the civic center. Our room was 'river side' and provided a view of the Big Muddy. The Sleep Number beds were a nice bonus.”

• High price for moderate amenities.

“The pool is small, and you must walk through the lobby to get to it. There is no continental breakfast. The decor is a very dated late 70's theme. It is clean, and the mattresses are Select-Comfort, if that's what you're in to. The best thing about this hotel is its location right across the park from the river.”

• Great rooms and it has a wonderful view of the river with good walking paths.
• It was about 1/2 mile walk to get fast food, I wanted a walk anyway.

• There beds were sleep number beds which were very comfortable.
• Nothing, It was excellent.

“I loved the motel. It was very clean the staff was very courteous. The beds in the rooms were excellent and the hotel restaurant was very nice and you had a wonderful view of the Mississippi. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.”

• Everything about the hotel was great. Great location, great staff members, great facility, and great accommodations.
• The only thing that I didn't like was room service came to the room at 9:30 a.m. (check-out isn't until 11 a.m.)

“Wonderful city, wonderful staff, wonderful hotel! The only thing that I didn't like was room service came to the room at 9:30 a.m. (checkout isn't until 11 a.m.) So it wasn't pleasant being disturbed that early. Other than that minor issue, I would recommend this hotel to all people who visit La Crosse, Wisconsin.”

• The exercise room was well equipped, and the pool was a great feature for traveling with children.
• Was not able to have a poolside room.

“It was a very snowy weekend, so travel was difficult. Our stay was a great relief from the weather. being pampered by the staff, and just the overall comfort of not having to do daily cleaning etc. was wonderful.”

• I would have liked a continental breakfast be included in stay.

“When we checked out and I said good morning, the attendant grumbled and just performed necessary business to get the job done. I feel afraid to use products offered, water, and coffee, for fear of being charged. The Hampton inn offers free breakfast; the Radisson is extremely expensive.”

“The location of the Radisson is fabulous with water views of the beautiful Mississippi River. There is a beautiful park across the street. However, the staff was less than friendly and the bathroom was not clean. The newly renovated restaurant was excellent. The river view made it worth the stay!”

• Location! The hotel is close to downtown La Crosse and it is always neat and inviting.
• The room only had one king sized bed, with no option of getting a different room. The room was also very small.
