• New trendy decor. Very comfortable bed and linens. Big screen flat TV.
• Styrofoam cups. No glass was available. We had to go buy some to use in the room for drinks.

“Very happy with the hotel. We were just needing a place to stay the night on a trip to visit family. The room was nice and comfortable and the decor looked recently updated in a very pleasing trendy style.”

• Overall good quality hotel. Very well designed.

• It was clean, quiet and well located.
• Some rooms could not receive incoming calls, but could call out.

“The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful. They provided most things that were needed. It was close to plenty of eating and shopping spots. The location was well placed off the Interstate and was easy to get in and out. I would stay there again if I ever needed. They helped in getting me a room that was near my daughter and her family.”

• We liked the layout of the room & having the workout room.
• We did not like having to stay in a room with 2 double beds instead of 1 king bed.

“The aesthetics of the room were good, but the layout of the bathroom was a bit awkward. We liked the location and the fitness room. What we did not like was finding that we were assigned a room with 2 double beds instead of a single king, and could not change without being extra.”

• Ice machine is so far away. Be nice to have in several locations on each floor.

• Could hear everything said in adjoining room even though door closed on my side.

“Beautiful. The nicest La Quinta I have been in. Good location and comfortable clean rooms. The breakfast was pretty predicable-some fresh fruit would have made a nice addition. Would stay there again.”

• This hotel looked beautiful. Brand new, and modern.
• New staff and not very experienced.

“This hotel was obviously new. It still had the "new" smell. Decor/rooms were beautiful. Very modern decor. Very comfortable. The layout of the rooms was very different. Much more homey feeling, and roomy. Fitness center was not completely functioning. Only two pieces of equipment were plugged in. Pool was supposed to be heated but was outdoor and freezing. Breakfast was great. Well supplied and large variety. Staff was obviously new and not all that experienced. Great hotel. Very busy but handled it well.”

• The rooms were beautiful and very clean!
• I didn't find anything about this hotel that was unsatisfactory.

“This hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and check in was very quick. The hotel was attractive both inside and out. The beds were comfortable and the rooms exceptionally clean! The breakfast was very good, not just a donut or muffin. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Didn't know it was being renovated.

“Courteous staff, adequate room. New design scheme is appealing, but not very comfortable, except bed. Chaise at foot of bed is rock hard. Roller shade at window eliminates billowing at AC. Built in shelving as desk is uninviting, but efficient. Flat screen TV is cool, but had to adjust function button to correct screen format. Have seen completed room scheme elsewhere, and it should be successful.”

• The room was clean and up to date, nice breakfast.
• The lobby was being renovated which made it a bit harder to get in and out, but a short term problem.

“It will be fun to see how the hotel lobby renovations turn out, our room was nicely updated. The breakfast was ok, although the room pretty crowded and someone forgot to heat up the sausage gravy for the biscuits. Nice place overall, I'd stay there again.”

“I was very pleased and surprised at how nice this La Quintal was. It was newly remodeled, clean and inviting. The rooms were a nice size and lay out very well. The Hotel staff was very professional and would go out of their way to help in any way they could. Two Thumbs up.”

• Scandinavian motif in the room I had. Lean, modern, very nice.

“Stayed here because I enjoyed a previous stay. Room furnishings were very modern and quite attractive. Very comfortable stay, pleasant staff, and good location. Lots of restaurants nearby, and easy access to the interstate. Undergoing lobby renovation during this stays, but unobtrusive.”

• The room had been remodeled and looked very nice.
• Our heater made an awful noise all night, and the hotel is under renovation.

“Overall, the hotel is in a nice part of town, and the room looked very nice because of recent renovations. However, our heater made such loud noises all night that we did not sleep well, and even after we informed the staff of the problem, no remedy to the problem or refund was provided. The hotel is also under renovation; so many areas of the hotel are currently torn apart.”

“This was a great hotel for the price. The only negative was construction going on throughout the lobby and other public areas of the hotel but there is nothing that can be done about that. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.”

• All room doors were very dirty. Can hear a door knocking at 2:00 a.m. the ice machine released ice very slowly and the ice room was hot.

• Room was spacious, including bathroom --- added to our comfort and relaxation.
• Lobby (breakfast/gathering area) was air-conditioned too cold. Most guests selected their food and returned to rooms to eat.

“This was my first stay in a La Quinta Inn. My overall experience was very positive. For my first night I was assigned a room on the first floor -- location was great. For the second night; the room was assigned was on the third floor. Hallway a bit warm and stuffy, but room was pleasant. Rooms are larger than other similar hotel chains, great plus! Bathroom was spacious, with separate dressing area in bedroom. Beds were comfortable: firm mattress, soft pillows. This particular La Quinta is conveniently located near several restaurants. My teenage son and I had an enjoyable stay.”

• Check in was 1:00 pm could not get the rooms until 3:30.

“We have stayed at this hotel before and been very pleased, however this weekend was disappointing. The elevator was out of order, we were on the third floor. We had 4 rooms in our group, 2 of the rooms had no air conditioning. It was 110 degrees the day that we checked in. Also the hallways were not air conditioned. The heat was staggering. There was a large(30+) group of unsupervised teenagers in the pool which ruined the pool for all other guests due to the horseplay.”
