“Beautiful hotel with excellent service and great location.” Jul 29, 2008 by

“The Davenport Hotel, Spokane is a masterpiece in hospitality, whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for the weekend or looking for exceptional service as a business traveler the Davenport will not disappoint. Having traveled through the United States for 15 days this was the icing on the cake. Staff was courteous and professional in all departments, the menu at the Safari Grill excelled itself in choice, quality and most surprisingly, in price too. As for the building itself (both tower and main building) these were an architectural gem. No aspect seems to have been overlooked and even the beds provided us with the best nights rest on our travel. Highly recommended. We'll be back.” May 23, 2008 by

“This is a great hotel. I've stayed at the Davenport numerous times due to the friendly & responsive staff, cleanliness throughout the entire hotel, great food, service, location (I can walk to most places I need to go to). Value for the money, and the Davenport bed. I always sleep well at the Davenport. In fact, I may buy one of their beds. This is one of the best hotels in the nation, and I've stayed at a few of the nation's best. Don't hesitate to come and stay. Well worth it.” May 6, 2008 by

“Would not recommend to other families.” Dec 26, 2007 by

“Overall the hotel had great service. The room was very beautiful, and well appointed. The restaurant service was good and the help in the gift shop, the valets, the town car service, the front desk, the doorman and the bellhop were all really great.” Sep 3, 2007 by
Kent from Corvallis, MT
“We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, well restored historic hotel. The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic (try the tenderloin) and the atmosphere is one of elegance of days gone by. Every inch of this hotel has been restored to its classic beauty, but still it contains all of the modern conveniences you'd expect from a great hotel. Be sure to take the time to explore this building, especially the second floor with its ballrooms, photographs, and historic displays. The davenport is a destination in itself!” Mar 28, 2007 by

“Room was nice. Parking was misleading having to pay! Brochure says "access to parking¿ not included in room price though. Biggest complaint was having to walk and weave through people each night to access elevator to room. Very odd banquets could not be held in banquet rooms.” Feb 2, 2007 by
Deena from Mukilteo, WA
“I booked a room @ the davenport hotel, not understanding (since we were unfamiliar with Spokane) that our room was actually across the street in another building. The staff was very nice in helping us check in at the correct desk at the towers and moved our car to that garage also. All in all it was a learning experience and a great hotel. We will stay there again.” 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.Aug 23, 2006 by

“Wonderful from the time I entered to check in. Genuinely courteous and helpful staff for all levels of staff. Front desk was ready and supportive with a pleasant smile. Facility seems to ooze an aura of pleasant memories of grand days. Facility is very functional and met our needs for conference held on site entire week. Rooms were exquisite and well laid out. Bed was very comfortable with what (I believe) is a pillow top type mattress. As far as ambiance, this would be the place where I would take my wife to propose. It is a memorable place with excellent facilities and an excellent staff. Overall, this has been the greatest hotel experience of my 53 years. I hope to come back some day from the east and bring my wife to share the experience.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Jun 16, 2006 by

“If you would like to stay in a hotel that is worthy of being a destination in itself, let alone in the hip and fun town of Spokane, the Davenport is the place for you.” 0 of 2 people found this review helpful.Sep 12, 2005 by

“The Davenport is one of the fanciest places to stay in Spokane. I stayed there for my birthday (Summer 2005). We had a great time. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. I'd say the only thing that surprised me was that the standard room was a little smaller than I expected. But everything was very elegant and romantic. The main entry area is very classy and ornate with beautiful flower arrangements and artwork. It is a bit pricey but, for a romantic evening in Spokane, it was worth it.” 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
