• Breakfast had only one choice of hot item.

• Continental breakfast and the
  pool.
• SMOKING HOTEL and was
  noisy.

“When we arrived, we were placed in a smoking room
and it was HORRIBLE. We were first told there were no other rooms available to transfer us to. It also had an outdoor access with no lock and I have a 2 year old. When I called Priceline to help me, they contacted the hotel & immediately, 3 rooms were available to transfer us to so we WERE moved to a NON-smoking room with no outdoor access.”

• The staff was great and went out of their way to accommodate my requests during my stay.

“Hotel is clean and nice especially for the price we got. Staff was very accommodating. We had 6am tee times and they were able to have breakfast sacks ready by 5:30am for us. Swimming pool was perfect for the kids. Parking lot can get packed if you arrive late in the evening. Overall, a nice hotel that we will keep on our short list if we are back in Spokane in the future.”

• The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and quiet.

“The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The in-room refrigerator, coffee and microwave were very useful and came in handy. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if I were in the Spokane Valley area.”

• Swimming pool! Cookies and milk!

“The traveler is met by a very friendly dog in the entry way that sets the tone of the stay. The rooms are inviting. Cookies and milk are set out in the evening for a bedtime snack -- and the indoor pool lets you work off the extra calories.”

• Enjoyed the breakfast bar and the warm cookies in the evening. Staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming,
• No exhaust fan in bathroom!

“It was easy to find in a large city, inviting with the holiday decorations, friendly staff, etc. Would recommend it to others for a stay in Spokane. There were no restaurants within the hotel, but several good ones within walking distance.”

• Staff was very accommodating - and breakfast was great!
• Not enough light in room above table!

“This hotel felt older, but overall was good. They had many pillows on the bed to choose from, although the mattress should have been upgraded. There was no overhead lighting - not even above the work table. Staff did go out of their way to bring an additional table to our room. The front door was not automatic which made getting in and out with a luggage cart rather difficult.”

• There was too much chlorine in the pool and It was really irritating to our eyes.

• This hotel is clean, pleasant, close to shopping and restaurants.
• The air conditioner has a musty smell.

“I had a very nice room. The desk service was great. A large wonderful dog sits by the door to greet the guests. The breakfast service was wonderful and the pool area was also clean.”

• A smoking room with king, only thing available.

“The hotel was great, I was traveling with another female, we were unable to specify two queens with no smoking. The room was a king smoking. We had to share the bed, a bit awkward.”

“The hotel has a very homely atmosphere and the staff are amazing. They went out of their way to change our accommodations from a smoking to non-smoking room and just could not help enough when we had questions or needed something. It was a very pleasant experience staying there and I would not hesitate to go back.”

• Nice pool, great staff, perfect location, free food, cool dog, spacious room.
• They were resurfacing the parking lot, so parking was problematic.

“We loved this hotel and would stay here anytime. I personally have stayed in motels where you had to buy ice, if the ice machine is working, there were three (3) deadbolts on the door and they actually had metal keys to open the door. This hotel is real luxury for me.”

“The hotel staff was nice but the cleaning staff needs to do a better job of cleaning rooms. My room overall was fine but there was a few spots that were hard to overlook! Phone cord was stained with something that was brown (looked very disgusting) and behind the nightstand, bed, and around the edges of the room were lots of dust. There was so much dust that it looked like lint.”

• Location! It was perfectly located for all of my business for the week.
• Issues with the entrance. It was blocked off, so this forced me to enter in a side door. Not cool!

“As I said, there was some issue with the front entrance. The side door that I was forced to use became an issue during check out. Dragging my luggage through this door was not good at all. Other than that, the staff was great. This was the 1st time I used a Holiday Inn Express. Not exactly a Courtyard, but it was ok.”

• The white duvet covers in place of the traditional bedding gave a very clean feel.
• Limited cable channels. I wanted the Real Estate channel.

“The Holiday Inn has replaced their using traditional comforters with blankets covered by a duvet, or clean sheets. I hate to go anywhere else that doesn't have the clean duvet covers like this hotel uses.”

• Breakfast ends at 10 am and the lady was not very nice.

“Overall the experience was a good one. The bed was the first bed in a hotel that we've stayed at that we could actually sleep in comfortably and the tub was so nice after a day of driving for 5 hours.”

• The lobby was warm and friendly. The assortment of breakfast foods was excellent.
• The pool was too cold.

“Excellent location with restaurants nearby. Easy access to i-90. Very friendly staff and they have a wonderful hotel dog named Kip - sweet golden retriever- the kids loved seeing him. The pool was cold or the air temp was too high. Manager said the pool was at the right temp- maybe she should take a dip! Love the clean white linens on the bed (much better than the flower bedspreads with who knows what on them) and double the pillows you normally get. Breakfast assortment is fantastic and warm fresh cookies at night - great touch.”

• Location, large suite, evening snacks in lobby, nice continental breakfast, nice lobby, close to dining.
• Parking lot shared with bar/lounge next door, did not pose a problem.

“I had a nice quite suite with 2 TV's, microwave, fridge, coffee, couch, King size bed. The motel has an attractive lobby with nachos and cookies in the evening. Hot and cold continental breakfast in the morning. There appears to be plenty of staff to handle everything going on. Staff was friendly.”

• The staff was wonderful and extremely accommodating. I enjoyed the hotel's golden retriever.
• The location, while just off an interstate exit, is not really a convenient location for business travel.

“I really enjoyed my stay there and am likely to stay there again as long as I receive the same friendly service. Parking is difficult at this location, due to shared parking with a nearby business. That was not a major issue for me, however, I imagine that for some people it would be a big concern.”

• Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The breakfast girl was incredible! She made our stay feel special.
• They had a "house" dog. My daughter is allergic.

“First impression was great with clean, welcoming decor. We asked to change rooms to accommodate an extra guest and they happily did so. The next day, they needed our room and upgraded us to a suite! We always look forward to cookie hour. The breakfast is excellent and the server was so fun and efficient. I would stay again just because of the service she provided.”
