• Fantastic view, crystal clear lake, friendly staff.
• Our room was new but not all of them are.

“They gave us a lovely room in the newer building on the hill overlooking the lake. What a spectacular location and view! We had a large lawn and lounge chairs directly in front of our room and a large window overlooking the lake. The kids enjoyed swimming in the lake, which is crystal clear. The room was spotlessly clean. We had two queen beds, though the beds were not firm enough for me and so very uncomfortable. The motel is about 2-3 miles away from the park and ride lot for the trolley into town (which takes about 5 - 10 minutes and costs $3 per person per day). The staff is friendly and accommodating. Thank goodness the manager who worked with us to make our weekend a success rather than a disaster.”

• The staff went out of their way for us some confusion about giving us a upstairs room at first, they quickly got us another one.
• It was very expensive.

“I thought the hotel would be on the lake, it was across from it. You had to carry and get across the street. There was no nearby restaurant and the room we stayed in was neat, clean, but cramped.”

• The view.
• The dingy room and the insects.

“This motel has a few positives: a nice view, friendly staff, ample parking and nice-sized rooms. The bedroom furniture was fairly new, although the bed was horribly uncomfortable. As for the rest of the room, it was extremely dated, a little dingy, and in need of repair. I understand that this motel is located in a wooded area, but there is no reason to have an overwhelming number of LIVE and DEAD INSECTS all over the bedroom, carpet, bathroom, and kitchen. There were crawling worm-like insects all over (including on the bedspread) and on our second night, we even found a dead spider under the covers when I turned the bed down to sleep. For $200.00 a night, they really need to make some repairs and hire an exterminator.”
