• Very convenient. Easy & plentiful parking. Comfortable beds. Nice atmosphere.
• Cot was very uncomfortable. Not enough extra blankets available.

• Recreational facility is good.
• Check-in staff is discriminating low-fare guests.

“Second floor rooms are noisy, and they sell them to low-fare bidders. Even after complaining, they would say all rooms were sold out. Sorry can't help much.”

• Liked the room and the location to wedding reception.
• Nothing we didn't like about it. Great hotel.

“Wee stayed here to attend a wedding. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and loved the water pressure from the shower. Overall, a very nice and pleasant hotel stay and couldn't beat the price we got on Priceline!”

• Very nice lobby/lounge area.
• Room was changed without notice.

“My only complaint is that I had booked a room with two double beds. When I checked in I found out that now I was in a room with a single king size bed. They did nothing to try to move me to the proper room and gave me no explanation. It wasn't a tragedy, but irritating.”

• Beautiful exterior and ground floor.
• Hallway smelled of smoke.

“We called for wash cloths and hand towels, since the room had none. 2 hours later I had to call again, and they were then brought up in 10 minutes. We asked for non-smoking, and the entire hallway smelled of smoke.”

• Big building and nice looking restaurant/bar.
• No help with luggage at check in, small rooms, old TV, poor TV picture and number of channels.

“Minuses: No help with luggage at check in (I am staying for one month and I had a lot of luggage), very small room, near ice and vending (noisy), old TV with poor picture and a few number of channels. (No movie channels) I had to ask for a refrigerator, staff brought it in. No free WiFi, you have to pay about $13 per day for internet! At times, night shift doesn't answer the phone (Around 1:30 AM on 2/4/09 I tried at least 10 times to call to get a wake up call until finally a staff member answered) Pluses: Clean building and room, friendly staff.”

“The hotel was convenient, clean, beautifully decorated. We had a problem renting movies for both nights so the management gave us free breakfast for both days. When the movie situation was fixed by the hotel staff we were also given 2 free movie rentals. They were very accommodating and I would definitely recommend this hotel to all.”

• Beautiful setting & lovely accommodations.

“Hotel is set on a beautiful property with golf, tennis, indoor pool, on site. Staff was prompt & friendly and our rooms were clean & comfortable. Sound insulation between rooms could have been a little better as we could hear conversations from the room next door, but this was a minor problem.”

• Hotel is run down, needs some renovations.

“I have stayed at this hotel at least once a year for the past several years. It has gone downhill consistently over the years. The wallpaper is peeling, the carpets are stained and the furniture looks worn. There was a terrible musty odor in the hallway coming off the elevator. The room itself was clean. I am not sure I will stay there again.”

• The atmosphere was wonderful. Lots of marble and granite, sounds cold but really very inviting.
• The pool area could have been swept up better and there was a lot of debris in the pool.

• The exterior of the hotel was very inviting.
• There were fried chicken crumbs on the carpet from a previous guest.

“Very nice. Staff comfortable. A little slow at the front desk but very polite. Room service was meal was very tasty. I ordered 2 meals and they only brought one place setting. Minor mistake but the food got a little warm while waiting for utensils.”

• Amenities were way too high/expensive.

“The hotel was a nice hotel. Lobby was beautiful Staff was generally friendly. Housekeeping staff was not too friendly. Kids meals were priced a little high but the drinks are the killer. Amenities were too high. Couldn't see spending a lot of money just to check my email. Business Center was also expensive. Overall nice. Elevator and carpets need to be replaced or seriously cleaned and/or upgraded.”

• Requested clothing iron and the man handing it to me burned my hand (apparently they tested it before they brought it up)- ugh!

“Upon entering, very nice, wide open, clean and classy. Hallways I used to get to room were worn and stained. Elevator was unkempt- scratched up. Well lit parking.”
