• Friendly and fast front desk service.
• There was toys and socks from a previous guest under the bed.

“Check in and check out was fast and efficient. The bed was awesome. We could not get the internet to work. When I was checking under the bed to make sure I did not leave anything, I found toys and socks from a previous guest stay. There was a lack of parking up front and construction on the service road.”

• The hotel looks very nice!
• The bathroom in the hotel room is extremely small!

“The hotel is a nice hotel. The mirror in the room was rusty and the walls in the room were dirty. Needs better lighting and vanity space!”

• Beds were very comfortable compared to any other hotel beds.
• Construction on service road at entrance made it a little more difficult to enter.

“Nice hotel. Non-smoking rooms were apparently not specified in reservations causing some problem in obtaining connecting rooms, but eventually was worked out. Rooms did not have beds as expected because of this, but the hotel brought in an additional bed to make up for it. Overall a very nice stay.”

• The desk clerk was nice, and they had good apples for us.
• Everything was great, but I would like a refrigerator in the room.

• The hotel is nice, the room service food is excellent. Good hotel to stay in.
• My car was broken into. Could not see the 3 people that broke into my car. Security cameras are useless.

“This is a comfortable hotel to stay in. The staff is very nice. Wireless internet is a bonus. Rooms are neat and clean.”

• Appearance was very nice.
• Check in was very abrupt and unfriendly.

“The first room that we were given already had someone staying in it. The second room was very nice. The front desk staff at check in were unfriendly at best, almost rude. The front desk staff at check out was very friendly and helpful.”

• I loved that the hotel provided Starbuck's coffee and Bath and Bodyworks products for guest.

• Great rooms, especially the beds. Nice furnishings.
• Excercise treadmills need to be fixed.

• Very nice lobby and rooms.
• 2 machines in health room were broken.

“Very good overall. Staff was not that friendly at front desk. Short on smiles and greetings. Two treadmills controls were broken. Room was great.”

• Much nicer than most Beaumont hotels.
• Late check-in due to softball tournament crowd. No big deal.

“The former Beaumont Hilton has been renovated and has surprisingly nice furniture now. It is the nicest hotel in Beaumont.”

• Elegant, clean. quiet, friendly
• Parking was limited.

“I enjoyed my visit...the hotel was clean, quiet, elegantly decorated, and overall a very good experience. The only drawback was the parking and the buffet breakfast was not very good.”

• It exceeded my expectations - very nice facility!
• Access to the hotel when heading westbound on I-10 is difficult.

“Elegante and Beaumont, TX seem to be contradictory terms, but it was a very fine facility. I would prefer to stay there my next time in Beaumont.”

• Rooms well furnished and espicially liked pillow-top mattress.
• Probably the restaurant judging from the number of people eating there.

“Excellent hotel with very courteous desk staff, well appointed rooms, and amble parking. Location easy to access, but not many restaurants close by; had to get on I-20 go a few minutes to good restaurants. Overall very satisfied.”

• The parking is crowded.

“We would certainly stay there again, very easy to find and get into. We did not eat there,so I cannot say anything about the food or service. It served our needs very well.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room furnishings.
• Our only complaint was the leftover Drano in the tub.

“This hotel was very nice. The furnishings were nice and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants as well. Overall it was a good experience and we would recommend it for others to stay at.”

• The hotel was beautiful
• The room was very run down. It was in dire need of remodeling.

“The lobby and most parts of the hotel was beautiful. We were very impressed upon entering the hotel. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in our room. The room was quite run down. The caulking around the bathroom counter had separated and the bathroom had a sour smell. The bathroom needed painting as did the room. One of the rooms we rented was nicer than the other one.”

• I got a great room for a great price and it was much more than I expected

“I remember when this hotel was the Hilton Hotel in Beaumont. I must say Hotel Elegante has surely kept up with that reputation. The newly renovated rooms are fabulous and the bath and body works are great.”

• The staff were wonderful! I was carrying boudin from La & the restaurant froze it for me to travel home with. Beds were great! Loved it!
• Problem at phone at first. But staff quickly addressed, confirming my initial impression of the hotel as a must stop over in Beaumont!

• beautiful appearance, bed and pillows were top notch!!!
• front desk didn't reply to request on purchase of movie in-room - we were declined because the screen stated not checked in""

“Overall, the hotel was excellent. However, the attendant at the front desk (about 11pm on 2/18/05) did not respond to the request of why, when trying to purchase a movie, statement of not checked in" appeared on the television screen. There was only one wash cloth in the room. However, the staff responded within a very short time to deliver more."”

“Rooms were very nice, accolades stop there. Housekeeping stole personal items from my room. Management did nothing except offer an apology. Vehicle was burglarized in the parking lot. Did not expect management to resolve the burglary but, coupled with the staff thieving, thought I should have been compensated for an MCM Elegant employee stealing items from my room.”

“This is the second time I have had the privilage of staying at this hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the hotel always maintains an immaculate level of cleanliness. The beds are unusually comfortable for a hotel. Each has 4 pillows (not the standard 2), and these pillows consist of 2 of a firm density and 2 of a soft density. I have a hard time getting to sleep and this was a very welcome amenity. The bathroom was clean and well kept. I would most certainly stay here again.”

“This hotel is still going through construction, but I think that it will be nice upon completion. The only thing I could really complain about was the maid staff cleaning rooms at 9:30 p.m. to get them ready for other guests.”

• they were still doing some remodeling in the halls. Every ice machine and coke machine was out of place except one due to remodeling

“The first room I was assigned smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals-my throat and eyes burned from standing in the room only seconds. The room had 2 double beds and both bedspreads were literally worn threadbare-,actually ragged. I asked to be moved because of the odor and was assigned another room. It smelled like insect spray and both bedspreads in the second room were also worn out, many had gashes and stains; but it was late and I was too tired to keep changing rooms. I checked out early because of the hurricane evacuation.”

“The Beaumont Hilton has a beautiful lobby and pool, adequate rooms, and subnormal workout room. They did inform me that they would soon have new equipment, so that should be better soon.”
