• Close to Atlantic City (2 Miles).
• The pool was a murky green, hair all over the tub and shower, tiny rooms.

“The location of this hotel was great because it was only a short drive to AC. Other than that, our experience was rather poor. We chose this hotel for the fact that it had a pool but the bottom of it couldn't have even been seen. When we questioned why the pool was green we were told it was due to the rain, however other hotels in the area we all crystal clear. There was hair stuck in crevaces of the shower and the room was super tiny.”

• Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
• Not very close to Atlantic city.

“Small rooms but the room rates were very low and affordable. Friendly staff that called cabs for me. The room was also very clean inside and was a decent size for the
price I paid last minute for one night. Overall, a good hotel experience.”

• It was affordable and the room wasn't too bad.
• The water was cold and the room was musty.

“The rooms were musty and dingy, but there was a fridge, microwave and 2 decent beds. The bathroom was pretty bad, but served its purpose, until time to shower when the water was freezing. Good for people who are not going to be in the hotel very much.”

• It had a bed.
• It was nasty.

“This was an old Red Carpet inn that had a Howard Johnson Banner draped over the old sign and it was thrown together with paint in an attempt to make it look renovated. I am a contractor and I can tell you it was shoddy. I've stayed in one star hotels before and know what to expect. This place should be a 5 star hotel.”

• Ash tray was cool and air conditioner was nice.
• It smelled and it was dirty. The staff was very rude. It was too far from the casinos.

“I hated the hotel as it made my stay a lot worse then it should have been. I would not go back there.”

“Dirty, further away from what it says on the internet. This hotel should be torn down. Brochures where out of date. I guess way back when the hotel looked good. But in 2008 it was run down.”

• Very friendly staff, Conveniently located by the popular Atlantic City strip.
• If you're there for 2 days or more prepare to make your own bed.

“The Red Roof in short is a motel. If there are no other alternatives the price is right and it's near the action of Atlantic City. Pre-Madonnas steer clear of this place, troopers are welcomed.”

“We walked up the stairs and were met with the smell of urine. The room wasn't as dirty as the outside but still not very clean. The bathroom was extremely small and the beds were just uncomfortable. Overall a very poor experience and I visit Atlantic City 2 or 3 times a month. This was my very 1st poor hotel experience.”

• Close to boardwalk mi co & frig in room good pizza.
• A little dank.

“Right off exit 2a of AC. expressway. Coffee in lobby. 2miles from boardwalk. It has a micro frig and a microwave hair dryer in all rooms. Nice restaurant which is casual, with good pizza.”

• The pool was clean.
• The dirty smelly room.

“The hotel was ridiculously over priced. I wouldn't pay more than $50 to stay in a hotel like this. The room was dirty and had a lingering smell. The hotel "restaurant" only takes cash, which left me in a bind one night. The bathroom is very old and out of date. There was a hole cut in the wall to fix pipes I assume and the cut portion was just leaned against the wall with a luggage rack placed in front of it so it wouldn't fall down. I will never stay at this hotel again and recommend that you don't either. For the money that they charge you can find a clean friendly, maintained hotel.”

• Nothing, it was very dirty. The bed sheets had stains.
• Nasty bed sheets you could tell no one changed them.

“Over priced, I've rented cheaper rooms in cheaper hotel the look better than what I saw. I would not visit this hotel again. The employees working the help desk both had a nice attitude they also help me with directions.”

• Location.
• The cost for what we received, the hotel needs renovation and upgrade.

“I was disappointed when we arrived. The photos were deceiving. We expected better. It was clean but very run down. Bathroom too small. no iron & ironing board in rooms, noisy we could hear our neighbors over our head. I guess we just expected a better hotel. The people were nice and helpful but the hotel does need renovating.”

• Pee stains on bed holes in wall dirty floors and walls.

“This hotel was one of the WORST hotels that I have ever stayed in. There were Pee stains on the bed, holes in wall, DIRTY floors and walls, especially the shower. Awful hotel.”

• Smelled of disinfectant, blood on mattress, stains on wall/ceilings.

“Horrible hotel, I bought blankets to place over beds to sleep. There was dried blood on the mattresses. There were ants crawling all over. I wouldn't have paid 50$ for the night let alone the 225 I did pay.”

• They gave free coffee in the morning.
• The room, the staff, and the location was very poor, and the coffee was stale.

“Overall, the hotel was very poor quality and the staff was rude. Inside the review when looking over the hotel, it lied about it's location, and it was as close to a dump as I could get. On top of the fact that they over charged tremendously.”
