• Beds were comfortable.
• Customer service was bad, noisy highway and A/C was loud. Shower not draining and non flushing toilet.

“Everything seemed fine the day we checked in. When we used the toilet, you had to keep your hand on the handle in order for it to flush. At one point, it wouldn't flush at all and my husband had to fix it. It was the middle of the night and we didn't want someone in the room waking up our children, although the loud A/C kicking on woke us all up throughout the night. So did the traffic on the highway next to the hotel. When we took showers, we discovered that we were up to our ankles and shins in water because the shower didn't drain. In addition, housekeeping never left washcloths on our second night, and when I called downstairs for them, nobody ever brought them up. Also, we finally found extra toilet paper in the closet outside the bathroom. Not too helpful when you run out inside the bathroom! Tissues were never refilled. When I told the front desk about the shower and toilet issues, they sent someone up to fix it, and we had no use of our bathroom until he was finished. We could not leave for the park because we had nowhere to change, and he had taken apart our bathroom! He was there when we came up from breakfast, so we couldn't tell him to come back later. No matter. After all of that wasted time, it wasn't fixed anyway. Our last night in the hotel, I found two washcloths for 4 people. My son had gotten very sick, and when I went to clean him up, I found that they had folded two dirty washcloths and put them near the sink. They weren't mine, because I hadn't gotten any the night before. I went to the front desk myself to get some because nobody had brought them the night before, and was told they couldn't give me some, but would find someone to get me some. The gentleman from security was kind enough to follow me upstairs and find me some. He was very nice. As for the complimentary breakfast, it would have been nice if they refilled coffee, food, etc. They didn't refill things for the breakfast you pay for, either. By the time I was able to get coffee two mornings in a row, my breakfast was cold. Overall, service was extremely poor. They were not prepared food-wise for a hotel that was completely full. I would never stay at that place again!”

• Attractive, convenient, & friendly, helpful front desk staff.
• Corner of our room had ceiling patch which was dropping plaster onto the rug.

“Enjoyed our stay for a nice getaway. Attractive room, although plaster from ceiling patch in corner was dropping and had not been vacuumed. Front desk staff was helpful in how to get around downtown. Didn't like that lobby restaurant and snack venue was set up to look complimentary, but was not. No signs posted of any costs, just set out buffet style and then a check was brought when server brought you beverages. Overall an enjoyable stay in a nice upscale atmosphere.”

• Convenient location, clean, cordial staff, free bottled water.
• No complimentary breakfast, no refrigerator, housekeeping forgets items that need replaced in room.

“Four points Sheraton hotel was convenient for our vacation. The desk staff was very friendly. The room itself was comfortable. We did miss a refrigerator in the room and our maid forgot to clean our water glasses, give us clean washcloths and let coffee for the next day. The staff member who provided the coffee took almost 2 hours to get it to us. The restaurant seemed adequate, but since we were visiting family, we did not use this facility.”

• Convenient location to Hershey, PA.
• Torn upholstery, worn carpet and stench in rooms.

“An extremely worn down hotel. Torn upholstery, worn carpet, and dingy walls are the norm. Everything seemed to have a chlorine stench. My wife would not take her shoes off in the room. That said, it is in a convenient location, not too bad of an area, and the staff is friendly. If the hotel were simply to be renovated, much of the problems would be resolved.”

“Be careful: some rooms have windows to the lobby only - those were really noisy. Front desk staff was uninterested and don't care if you need to get up in the morning. Rooms were quite old but seemed clean. As a business traveler: stay away! - as a leisure traveler: check out if there's cheaper and better places around.”

• Old, outdated, furniture.

“Nice lobby, friendly staff, great pool, elevator floor was filthy and was never vacuumed our entire stay of 4 nights. Hallway and room carpets old, frayed and outdated. Wallpaper was old and outdated. Bathroom with hole in wall. A really old dingy room.”

• The location was excellent.
• The service was horrible.

“The first room had the door open, the TV on, the beds were unmade, and towels on the floor. The second room was clean but had to call twice the first night to get towels. We had to call again the 2nd night to get towels. We had a coffee maker with no coffee to put in it.”

• The beds and bedding were great.
• Every time we used the pool there were no towels.

“They were supposed to supply towels at the pool. Every time we used the pool there were no towels to be found. When I went to the front desk to check out I mentioned this and he acknowledged that yes they have a problem but they didn't intend on fixing it. Very poor answer in my opinion.”

“The hotel was in a great location close to Hershey park, our main destination for the trip. Hotel personnel were very friendly. The room was a bit outdated and I felt the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. There was hair on the floor but it was not bad enough to have to complain. Overall a great stay.”

• The restaurant food was great, bed was comfortable.
• Overall decor needs update, pool opens too late in the morning, dirty trays left outside rooms too long.

“This hotel was fine for a short stay with kids after a long day at Hershey Park. The pool should open earlier in the morning (by 8-9) and stay open later at night (11p) - not enough help in the restaurant, but overall a good overnight stay.”

• The room was quite sizable and comfortable.
• The hallways and some of the room components (chair, etc.) are "shop worn" and need a rehab.

“I had gotten three rooms for my family and a friend's family. They were all comfortable and large. (NOTE: My friends stayed in an interior room that opened onto the pool and if you have small children whom you want to get to bed before the 10 pm pool closing time, I suggest that you request an exterior room. The noise from the pool - children playing, etc. - is loud and resonates.) We were at the hotel to go to Hershey and Dutch Wonderland and we were 15 minutes from Hershey (about 40 from Dutch Wonderland). It's a very viable option for those on a budget. Unfortunately, I am not sure if it is understaffed but we could not get wash clothes one day (there were none left after housekeeping cleaned the room) and we couldn't get towels at the pool (despite numerous requests.) The continental and/or hot breakfast available in the lobby seating area is quite convenient and very comprehensive. (It enabled us to take some granola bars and small boxed cereal away for snacks.) The price is a bit steep though - especially for children over two (although there is a slightly lower price than for adults - it's still high.) Please note that this is definitely not a 3 star hotel. Somewhere between a 2 and 2 1/2. For those with families, it's well located near a large grocery store - where I was able to pick up milk and juice, etc. Finally, I had to transact a small amount of business while there. I could find only one pc in the lobby area for all the guests which was incredibly slow and for which there was a line. There is no business center otherwise, I do not believe.”

• The hotel was very nice; excellent parking and friendly people.
• There was no trash can in the bathroom. There was some hair in the bathtub; that shouldn't happen.

“We enjoyed our stay very much and everyone we dealt with was very helpful and friendly. We definitely would stay again and have already recommended to family and friends.”

• Nice pool for the kids - indoor, heated, and open until 10 PM.
• Only 1 roll of toilet paper supplied during 3 days.

“I feel the overall rating of this hotel is more like 2-star, rather than the 3-star. The rooms and facilities were perfectly fine. I just don't feel like there was anything special about it to advance it from a 2-star to a 3-star rating.”

• Rooms were clean.
• Rooms were noisy, either highway, pool or lobby noise. (we had 3 rooms).

“Rooms were clean. I'm not fond of hotels using decorative bed pillows that are passed on from customer to customer without clean coverings! it was not too far from Hershey attractions. Staff was helpful. noise outside the rooms was a little annoying. I would, however, stay here again.”

• Friendly staff, comfortable rooms good proximity to stores, restaurants and attractions. Hotel has good restaurant/bar with friendly staff.
• Older/warn appearance of parts of room (bathroom ceiling), hallways/carpets warn and dirty and exterior. Pool nice but pool tiles/deck dirty.

“Friendly staff, comfortable beds and proximately to Harrisburg area attractions make this hotel a good choice for families. Many stores and off site restaurants are within easy reach of this hotel. Pool area and hallways could use some upgrading/cleaning.”

“However, for a Sheraton, we were disappointed in the wear and tear of the rugs in the room/hallways and the walls could use several coats of paint. A little updating goes a long way.”

• Spacious, super clean, very quiet, free internet terminal, comfortable beds, convenient to business, shopping & highway, casual social area in lobby.
• Free breakfast buffet was great, but could've had more healthy or lighter options.

“This hotel is conveniently located to several business parks and shopping areas, as well as major highways, and is only 20 minutes from Hershey Park. It is a great choice for all travelers, with large, comfortable rooms, fresh, soothing decor, and a pool. Our party (two adults and one teen) found it to be super quiet, and scrupulously clean - everywhere. The staff exemplifies the state motto with their friendly and helpful manner. Of the three hotels we used during our vacation, this one is the only one where we had a good nights sleep every night, and is the only one we would consider visiting again.”

“The worst experience ever had, had spiders in the room, the room had an odor, had to get my own air freshener so that at least can stay in the room, ironing board was broken which they replaced, plywood on the bathroom door was peeled in different places like a bathroom door at cheap road side gas station, staff didn't know where we can find any restaurants in the neighborhood, and so on. Never thought it was Sheraton, overall would have been better of staying at roadside motel.”

“I was very displeased with this hotel. I expected much more from a 3 star hotel. We were delayed in being allowed to check in because our room hadn't been cleaned by 3 PM. We had driven 6.5 hours to get there, needed to shower, and head out to a meeting and we couldn't do it in good time because the room wasn't ready. They were slow to bring us our roll away bed. While the lobby was nice, the rest of the hotel was unimpressive. The room we had was rather small and had virtually no electrical outlets. The iron in the room was touchy about working. Our window faced the highway so we heard cars all night. If I had a choice, I would not stay here again. I would choose to stay in a cheap motel that offers a continental breakfast rather than here.”

• The staff was accommodating, the breakfast buffet had an array of choices and the best part was that the Hershey characters join you on Saturdays.
• The carpet in the hallways on the way to the room was dirty and really needed to be vacuumed.

“It was not on a main highway and was close to a strip mall. It was about 10-15 minutes from Hershey Park. It has pretty cool restaurant/Irish pub with great food. Overall, it really served our purpose.”

• The hotel was very close to many restaurants-great for people on travel.
• The beds were uncomfortable.

“I enjoyed staying in this hotel because of the location. It was only about 20 minutes away from Hershey Park, where we went on vacation. It was also very close to numerous restaurants if you do not want to eat at the one in the hotel. My only complaint is that the beds were not very comfortable and I was tossing and turning all night.”

“Overall, the hotel was nice. Breakfast could have been a little more inexpensive. The hallway carpeting needs to be replaced. Long walk to the room from the lobby if in the back of the hotel. Rooms look like they were recently renovated and there was wireless internet in the rooms.”

• The swimming pool area was clean and inviting.
• Paying for breakfast.

“This hotel was roomy and the staff was awesome. I still prefer hotels where breakfast is included. There are some nearby that have breakfast included and are less expensive. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for families and business travelers. A refrigerator and microwave in the room would be most welcome, though.”

• Trash in the hallways remained there all day.

“Nice furniture and beds but this is an older hotel and not up to Sheraton standards. I saw a discarded drunk cup in the hallway floor upon my arrival, when I checked out the next day it was still there.”

• Free WIFI.
• Toilet would not flushed and overflowed. They did fix it after we complained.

“We had a problem with the toilet (which was fixed) and the TV (kept turning off and resetting). Otherwise, everything was ok. Nice and clean. Would stay here again. Free WIFI at the hotel was a major plus.”

• Convenient location, near large selection of food and attractions.
• It was nice to have the indoor pool, but we were really hoping for a hot tub.

“This hotel was very nice from the lobby to the guest rooms. It is located right off the freeway making it convenient to access from downtown Harrisburg, Hershey and surrounding attractions. We did not dine there, but the breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and seemed to have a lot to offer in selection. There was also a computer in the lobby for guests to use for internet access, which was great for our teenagers.”

• It was very clean.
• I wanted a smoking room and there were none available.

“This hotel was great, close to Hershey park. It was conveniently located by other restaurants and fast food even a chuck e cheese for the children! The room was very clean and we had a pool view, the indoor pool was very clean also and the water was just the right temp. We loved our stay!”
