“This hotel is wonderful for families with young children. Every year they are adding facilities for kids. The location in the outlet mall is great. The hotel is older and so rooms need repairs often.We have stayed here often and will again.”

• Excellent value, comfortable and user friendly.
• Location was not well indicated from main road.

“Very clean, upscale with plenty of amenities to meet needs and expectations. Staff was friendly, service was good and food was delicious and reasonably priced. This definitely goes on my return to list when traveling in the area.”

• Located within walking distance to shopping outlets.

“The staff was very accommodating, upgrading us to a presidential suite when no rooms with king-size beds were available. The room was spacious, but the furniture and overall style was outdated. I would stay again at the price we paid with Priceline.”

“The outside heated pool and hot tub was wonderful. We just wish they were open more than 4-9 pm. It was nice to have the option of the inside pool and hot tub when the outside wasn't open, though the pool was a little chilly and the hot tub was too hot. We absolutely love this hotel and look forward to returning next year.”

• Family oriented fun and shopping nearby and close restaurants.
• Party on
  2 floors down was heard and kept up children.

“This hotel is great for the weekend or week up in North Conway for shopping the outlets, right out the back down. Indoor and out door heated pool and hot tubs made the kids so happy and kept them busy. Family friendly movie in home theater. Something for everyone.”

• That it was close to the shops.
• No insulation in the walls! Could hear people in next room, very plain.

“I was disappointed that there seemed to be no insulation of the walls. The people next to was were not noisy, but we could hear pretty near everything, even a light switch coming on. The hotel is getting dated. The bathroom seemed dark.”

• Family friendly, wonderful pools and activities.

“This hotel is a wonderful, family-friendly with extra activities for the kids, when they are not in the warm, clean indoor/outdoor (year-round!) pools. The rooms are attractive and adequate - clean, nicely furnished, and come with a refrigerator, microwave, and DVD player (DVD library at the front desk.) They also have a great family theater downstairs, showing kid titles nightly. Kids eat free with paying adult in the on site restaurant. All in all, it is the perfect hotel for a night or two away from home with the kids.”

• Very clean, nicely decorated and pleasant staff.
• Room overlooked an ugly roof. We could not see the beautiful mountain view.

“Very nice, clean hotel with pretty rooms and comfy beds. Close to shopping and restaurants. Nice bathroom. Fridge and Microwave in the room. If we went again, I'd request a room with a better view of the mountains.”

“It was perfect for our purposes as we decided to have a short romantic time off. The service was courteous. My wife also loved the outlets as we could literally walk out of the hotel and go shopping (which my wife loves). So I was a winner all round.”

• Great environment for families visiting Storyland.
• If you don't want to be around kids you might want to avoid this hotel in the summer.

“Stayed here with our 4 year old while visiting Storyland. The hotel was ideal for families like ours. I'd venture to say everyone staying there on Labor Day weekend had a child under 5 along. Lobby areas, pool, restaurant all were very nice. Convenient location (although lots of traffic in the region).”

• Centrally located to Storyland, Santa's Village, White Mountains and the best outlets!
• The indoor pool was a little overcrowded but there is another one outside as well as a hot tub.

“This hotel is in the best location! It's a short drive to Storyland and all other attractions in the area. We traveled with a 5 year-old and a two month-old and couldn't have asked for better.”

• It was close to town.
• My wife has some kind of bites or skin irritation on her neck and eye lid. I have one on my arm. We think it was bed bugs or from the sheets not being.

• I liked the location of the hotel next to the shopping outlets and liked the pools.
• Beds were uncomfortable, rooms were dated and not that clean.

“We were happy about the location, but the overall appeal of the hotel was old and dated. The food was not great in the evening from the onsite restaurant, very pricey for what you get. Breakfast buffet was a great deal, kids were free. Pools were nice, but very crowded with kids and adults. Don't recommend hotel unless you have kids, but rooms are small and need to be updated as well as bathrooms. Sink was cracked and the AC didn't always work.”

• Dirty and filthy. The bathrooms were infested with hairs, and mold. Rooms not vacuumed, disgusting.

“This is clearly a vacation hotel; very family friendly and caters to children; check-out can be a hassle as there is a shortage of bellman carts for luggage. Accommodations are spacious and very well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wonderful shopping in easy walking distance.”

• Children loved talking moose in lobby and animal decor.
• Hard to locate the front entrance from rt.16.

“Great place to bring the children. Outlet shopping right out the back door of the hotel. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant was good. Talking moose in the lobby and indoor pool was great for a rainy day. The ice cream social at night topped it all off. Would highly recommend this hotel to families with young children.”

• There was no lock on the TVs, game boy my son racked up 37.95 dollars in video games. $7.00 an hour was a little outrageous.

• The hotel was beautiful and very family friendly.
• Our room needed to be updated, there was a rip in the sofa, and they ran out of Storyland tickets.

“This hotel is great if you are traveling with small children. The hotel and location is great. Our room was in need of updating, and there was a large rip in the sofa. They also ran out of Storyland tickets during our stay. Overall, I would probably stay there again.”

• The hotel was next to the outlet Mall. Great if your a shopper.
• The hotel was wall to wall children. I have nothing against kids I just don't need them screaming in the next room.

“The hotel is very nice but I don't believe I was given the quality room I expected. When I complained that there were children screaming next door and the shower didn't drain I was told there were no other rooms available. It's possible as it was the forth of July weekend. However the vacancy sign was still on and people were still arriving several hours later.”

• A/C noisy, mattress lumpy, sheets pilled, kids on scooters in hallway.

“It was school vacation week and they put is on a floor with tons of kids. The hotel staff allowed kids to ride scooters in the hallway, yelling and screaming. Hotel manager was unresponsive to complaint. Due to location and transient nature of guests in an outlet area they do not seem very concerned if you would return in future. We used to stay at this hotel when it was a Sheraton and it was much, much better.”

“The hotel is set with a backdrop of mountains and in the midst of a large outdoor shopping district, within short drive of many outlet stores. The hotel presents very well in the lobby, looks grand and spacious. The rooms were large and had a DVD player that you could borrow DVD's from the front desk to play. Highly recommend!!”

“My husband and I LOVE this hotel! It's like a 5 star! The staff is EXCEPTIONAL! Right outside the door you can go shopping at the outlets and there are great restaurants from pizza to prime rib within minutes. This place is really great! You won't be disappointed!”

• Beautiful high ceilings on the 4th floor.
• Hard to find it, hidden away behind a bunch of stores.

“This hotel is exceptionally convenient for outlet shopping in new Hampshire. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating. 4th floor rooms are spectacular. They have bath and body works shampoos and conditioners. This is a very quiet hotel.”

• The location next to the settlers green shopping center is convenient.
• The housekeeping service needs improvement; room was never made up or cleaned.

“The hotel is located next to the settlers green shopping outlets. It offers many amenities, bar, dinning, pool etc. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. There appeared to be a breakdown in the housekeeping department. After being out and away from the hotel all day. We returned to our room and it had not been cleaned or made up. When we asked at the front desk for clean towels and coffee supplies, they did not seem surprised at our request or that the room had not been done that day. How many others we also not cleaned or made up?”

• Large outdoor hot tub.
• Wireless Internet worked once in four days, despite talks to staff and tech support.

“This hotel is an integral part of a shopping outlet center. It is tucked behind the stores and is difficult to find even if you are looking for it. There are indoor and outdoor pools, a restaurant / lounge and a computer center. During out stay, the indoor pool was closed for repairs and the computer center (and wireless connections - free) had lost access to the Internet. The hotel is neat and clean, and the staff was friendly. Our room was a fairly roomy queen with a TV, video game, DVD player, microwave, and refrigerator. It was on the ground floor, and had permanently-installed stops on the window, preventing it from opening more than about four inches from the bottom. I doubt it would meet fire code in most places.”
