• The hotel was great and in a great location; clean and neat just the way we like it.
• Nothing.

• Beds very comfortable, holiday decorations were beautiful!
• No bellman.

“The North Conway Grand Hotel is the best place to stay in North Conway. It's behind the Settler's Green outlets, which is a great location. The beds are really comfortable and the lobby area was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations and giant stuffed animals including a gigantic moose near the fireplace. It also has a very nice tavern.”

• Convenient to shopping.
• I did not get the room I requested and received confirmation # for.

“This weekend away for my husband and I was something we had not done in over 7 years and I wanted the nicest room I could get. I reserved and received confirmation on a room with a kink bed and Jacuzzi and when we went to check in the only room available was one with 2 queens and it was definitely not worth the money we paid. I wanted the best room and if it was not available I would have gone elsewhere. I feel I should not have received a confirmation # on something that was not available. ”

• Very quiet due to location back from road. centrally located.
• Rooms very small, no complimentary breakfast, did not show prices on display menus.

• Very nice and convenient to outlet mall and highway.
• Need a larger sign at the street entrance; since it is tucked behind the mall, it was difficult to find.

• Very clean & Spacious room, good location if you like shopping, great value for the money.
• The hotel staff is not very friendly and we don't feel that we are welcomed to stay

“The hotel has very convenient location, just next to the big shopping mall and many restaurants. The room is spacious and very clean with all the amenities that you would expect from a nice hotel. Good value for the money.”

• Needs a bigger pool. It was always crowded.

• Had a great kids program each night.
• NOTHING.

“We would definitely stay again here. We traveled w/a 6 and 3 year old - the hotel staff was very accommodating and the kids program was excellent! The kids enjoyed the pool, making ice-cream sundaes and Monty the Moose. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.”

• Playground was closed for construction. Outdoor pool was hard to find.

• I like the location ,the restaurant on site, and the clean, safe environment.
• I don't have any negative comments.

“The Grand Hotel is centrally located for all your shopping needs. It is tastefully decorated in early American with large stuffed animals located in the lobby for all the young travelers to pet and have a photo shoot done. It is a family friendly hotel.”

• Next to all the factory outlets, quiet and was equipped with a fridge and microwave.
• Coffee machine wasn't in the room, shower was clogged, remote never worked.

“My stay was positive overall. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very conveniently located next to all the major factory outlets in the city. There wasn't a coffee machine in the room when we arrived, but we were given one within a couple of hours. Also, the remote control never worked and the shower was clogged. However, the experience was positive and the hotel was a good value.”

• Staff was wonderful !!
• Refrigerator did not have even a small freezer. I am a diabetic and it would have been nice to be able to refreeze my ice pack

“Great location in central North Conway, with outlet shopping right next to the hotel. Wonderful large room. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel. The staff is very professional, accommodating and friendly.”

• Beds were comfortable. It was convenient to the shops.
• The door to my room was hard to close and it stuck sometimes which made lots of noise.

• Very clean, high-speed Internet, overall nice room.
• Location was very suburban, not as much in the mountains. service staff seemed almost non-existent.

“Overall, we were happy with it, especially given the great deal we got. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were nice. The location was OK, but not really like staying "in the mountains." Absolutely no staff member was around to assist with luggage issues, not that it was an issue with us. While overall a nice room.”

“If you are looking to be a part of it all in North Conway, New Hampshire, look no further! The North Conway Grand Hotel has it all and is kid friendly too! The rooms are large, clean and well maintained adding to an overall pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit.”

• The elegance of the room and the outer social areas was so beautiful.
• I had a fall from a chair that was broken by children earlier in the day and no one on the staff really cared if I was hurt.

“This hotel is a great value and we saved a lot of money. It is right in back of the outlets at Settlers Green. This was a plus, as we did not have to take our car to go shopping, nor to eat. We found that the food was overwhelming in quantity and quality. The entire staff were courteous and kind, and we had a great time and stayed in a very elegant hotel for a low price. We are planning on going back in a couple of months!”

“The location of the Grand Hotel is excellent. You can walk from the back door to Settler's Green a great outdoor outlet Mall. It is about ten minutes from Cranmore Mt. using the access road from the rear exit. The Hotel itself is pleasantly decorated and the rooms are nice but somewhat worn.”

• Needs better sound insulation between rooms.

“Lot of kids at this hotel so ask for a room at the end of the hall near exits which are used only for fire, will be quieter. Could use better sound insulation between rooms. Rooms are good sized.”

• Did not honor my request for a wake-up call. Pool are very crowded with little children till 10PM

• Convenient location in N. Conway. Also although we were across from the elevators, our room was fairly quiet.
• $10 Hot breakfast buffet - ALL the pastries were stale; freshness would have made a big difference. Eggs were overdone.

“Fine hotel for the rate; adequate room size, very small bathroom. Note: Do not get a room on the first floor - the pool is at one end and lobby/dining on the other - it's super busy. Great location if you like to shop. Nice touch for families - make your own sundaes weeknights. In the dining room our table was vibrating the entire time we ate breakfast! The waitstaff were aware of the problem, mumbling about machinery in the basement.”

“The North Conway Grand was very pleasant. The most positive feature is the location. It was clean and comfortable. Negative features are the outdoor pool is not kept up well and the room decor is starting to show signs of wear.”

“This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. Very family friendly and was walking distance to all the outlets. There was even a small playground area for children and the water was shallow enough in the pool for my four year old to stand in.”

• The hotel was very clean, conveniently located
• I didn't feel it should be rated as "upscale". It was just your ordinary hotel.

“The rooms were very clean but just an ordinary hotel room. The restaurant was very expensive and I did not feel that the food was worth the cost.When we checked in our reservation was all in order but the staff was not very friendly and did not offer any information as to the hotel layout. After searching awhile for the pool we had to ask where it was.The pool area was quite small for the size of the hotel.”

• Very reasonable price, great family environment, liked the DVDs available
• Did not receive towels to take showers after 2 request, went to front desk & then called 2 hours later, never did get the towels

“Other than the above, which was very inconvenient, everything else was fine. Brunch was very good but pricey. I would have like a small breakfast but they only offered weekday a $9.95 brunch menu, so it cost me that much for fruit & coffee.”

“Hotel is acceptable for a one night stay over; would not stay here for an extended period of time. Little to no night life or activities what so ever. For skiing I'd go to Stowe Vermont (more upscale).”

• you can get movies at no extra charge for kid and adult
• The Restaurant no one spoke any English it was horrible

“The hotel was very good convenient to things around town. My family and I had a horrible experience at the restaurant we ordered buffalo chicken wings, the outside of the chicken was warm
and the inside was still frozen and bloody I was mortified I complained but nothing ever happened
the manager was to get back to us but nothing happened.”

“The Grand Hotel was a great hotel if you like having outlet shopping right in the same complex, which many people did. It was great for the convenience. They had a great breakfast buffet that was very good and very reasonably priced ($10.00). I would not recommend this for people who want seclusion.”

“I think we were given one of the best rooms at the resort. We had a corner suite with a separate bedroom that had its own couch, chair, dresser and TV. The bedroom was probably something like 12' x 25' alone. The main room had a beautiful restroom, a bar area with a microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator. It also had a chaise lounge, a desk and another sleeper sofa. So the room itself was terrific. We had a few problems with there not being any bedding for the sleeper sofa and having to call for it at 11pm at night after my daughter had to wake me up to tell me. Also, the check-in girl wasn't the most pleasant person. But overall...very nice place!”

“Some of the staff were very pleasant, some were not. Our hotel room had a broken door lock, the air conditioner did not work, and the room was not as clean as it could be. Still, we managed to have a great time!”
