“The hotel was great. Really clean, rooms where really big, and way better then what was expected. The hotel restaurant was okay, service was poor, and food was nothing special.” Mar 8, 2009 by
Mary from Billings,MT
“Great with superb amenities. Adult and child friendly pool. Pool/jacuzzi area. Great staff.” Aug 25, 2008 by
Theresa from North Huntingdon, PA
“The is a very clean hotel. We had a king size suite that accommodated the four of us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can even bring your dog! The hotel is not in downtown Deadwood, however, you can get a trolley in front of the building for a nominal fee. We didn't mind walking. The hotel has a plenty of parking. We will definitely return whenever we are in the area.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Diane from Regina, SK CA
“Very poor service. Staff was poorly trained. Also, room was not cleaned and had to argue with front desk to get towels brought up. Hotel Manager was not very good! Did not apologize for bad service and hotel manager never offered a free drink or anything being a hotel. When arrived no amenity were available like chocolates etc. When asked they told us it was only for suites.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Barb from Riverdale, NE
“We enjoyed our stay and room. Deadwood is always a must stop when in SD. The room was way above others we stayed at in the Black Hills. The breakfast buffet left much to be desired. most food was not refilled and was in too crowded serving area. Loved the trolley rides, so convenient and safe.” Jun 7, 2008 by
Sandy from Walhalla, SC
“The hotel at Cadillac Jack's Casino was conveniently located in Deadwood, SD. The casino was small but had a good selection of slot machines and gaming tables. Free complimentary soda's, tea, coffee, spiced cider, and hot chocolate were available. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was overpriced for Deadwood and the free continental breakfast was very limited, just coffee and mini muffins.” Jun 7, 2008 by
Lori from O'Neill, NE
“The room was amazing for the price of the hotel. Very nicely decorated and spacious. It also has a microwave, mini fridge, and a safe which is very handy. The downfall was having to walk through the casino/lobby to get to the rooms and also to get to the pool. They do furnish a generic brand of coffee to use in their coffee makers.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Lisa from Des Moines, IA
“For the money, the American was way above our expectations. We had a beautiful and spacious room, the hotel turned the pool/spa area over to the adults at 10 pm. Central to historic Deadwood, we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Had a better time here than the more famous attractions nearby.” Apr 5, 2008 by
Dale from Sioux Falls, SD
“Very nice place with big spacious rooms.” Feb 25, 2008 by

“I like this hotel and stay here when I'm in Deadwood.” Sep 24, 2007 by

“The hotel was very quiet and reasonably clean. It is easy to find, but a bit disconnected from the rest of the town.” Sep 16, 2007 by
Ron from House Springs, MO
“Better than average and stay met expectation.” Jun 24, 2006 by
George from Harrisburg, PA
“Nice rooms and facilities, food was average, staff was courteous, but not very helpful about other activities and restaurants. No Bellhops available to assist with luggage.” Apr 26, 2006 by
Cindy from Rochester, MN
“Centrally located, very neat and there is always a lot of activity going on.” Apr 17, 2006 by
Randy from Chappell, NE
“Nice place to stay short walk to main street, parking was no problem.” Apr 6, 2006 by
Paul from Paducah, KY
“I feel everyone made out well. We got a good price for a room, and the casino got us there gambling, eating dinner and breakfast! Depending on how good or bad you are at the tables, that may or may not be the best deal in town! Good luck!!” Mar 1, 2006 by
Doug from Sioux Falls, SD
“New hotel with very large halls. The main floor is a casino with a cafe at the end. They do have underground parking and in front of the hotel but if you bring a trailer expect to park somewhere else. For the money, I highly recommend this hotel.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
