“As stated, clean rooms, staff seemed friendly. Would have preferred king bed with second pull-out bed, but unavailable at booking.” Oct 26, 2009 by
Rebecca from Maryville,TN
“Very nice upscale hotel centrally located in the beautiful downtown Charlotte area. Complete with valet service and a bend over back wards to please you staff! Very nice room with luxurious down comforters and pillows. Super view.” Oct 11, 2009 by
Michelle from Florissant,CO
“The hotel is some distance from Gettysburg but the drive was nice. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was less then expected.” Sep 12, 2009 by
Ben from Altoona,PA
“Rooms were clean but had a bad smell. Candles didn't remedy the problem, but it was also a smell that one adapted quickly. Bathroom was on the small side. Our room was clean and roomy. Good breakfast options included. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Pool is cold and the paint is flaking off.” Aug 30, 2009 by
Barry from Gloucester,VA
“Opening the room door, a musty stench hit like a ton of bricks. After flushing the toilet, the smell of rotten eggs fills the room. Upon telling the desk clerk, no resolve was offered. A road backs up to the side parking lot, which is only separated by split rail fencing. Any drunk driver could easily veer off the road and into the hotel parking lot.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Sandra from Conway, OR
“I enjoyed my stay. It was located no more than 10 minutes from my daughters home. The king bed was very large and comfortable for my husband to sleep in. This was so much better than staying at her families home as we have previous. You could relax more and the room was nicely sized not small. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Everything in sight was always clean and well kept.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Lacey from Ohio
“Wonderful place to stay, very convenient location, pool was great, very nice breakfast with hot food and a large variety, parking was difficult at times especially at night, would be great if every room came with a fridge.” Jul 11, 2008 by
Sabdra from Camas, WA
“It took me 3 calls request a hair-dryer. The lady in front desk wasn't very friendly. The communication between the hotel staff is not working very well. We came back to the room and the room was not done at all at 11:00 p.m., after talked to the front desk, the man gave us another room key to get the amenities we need and welcome us to stay that room, but next day crew did not read the memo, and scared my kids to death to ask them out of the room. After talked to the front desk lady, she was not sorry for the whole incident AT ALL. I did request to talk to the manager but he was not there. Until now, three days later, we still haven't receive any phone call from the manager, nor the hotel. Hotel itself is nice, but the staff is different story, I will not recommend this one to any of my friend, nor the family.” May 29, 2008 by

“We arrived early to drop off luggage; the front desk couldn't care less, "check-in isn't until three anyway" they quipped. We returned after a day of touring the area with a car full of people and luggage to find that our two adjoining two double bed rooms that "weren't ready yet" turned into separate single king sized rooms on separate floors. Parking was a joke; several cars were illegally parked and most of the ones that were in the hotel guests only parking did not have hotel parking tags. At first I thought it was because of the obnoxiously loud and overly crowded party in the meeting room. When the doors were open we couldn't even hear the front desk people talk. The "party" guests were very rude to my children and I had to escort my wife and twenty year old daughter trough the crowd loitering in the front entrance. Not near the front entrance, not by the front entrance, IN the front entrance.” Apr 30, 2008 by
Donna from Stuarts Draft, VA
“We had a wonderful time and the staff was very courteous and professional. Thank you for making our visit so very nice and enjoyable.” Apr 21, 2008 by

“Newly refurbished, nice folks, good food, need better housekeeping.” Oct 1, 2007 by
Dawn from Chelmsford, MA
“The room and hotel lobby (breakfast) were nice. Room is spacious, nicely furnished. Lobby breakfast was especially nice for continental. The bathroom needed either a good cleaning or updating. The shower was full of black mold in the grout and pieces of tile were broken. The shower head was placed way too low - I am 5'6" and had to bend over - my husband who is 6' was very uncomfortable.” Jul 19, 2007 by
Robin from North Brunswick, NJ
“For a Sheraton which I think of as a high end hotel, I was very disappointed in this one. First, there was no restaurant or lounge. Apparently it had been torn down as there was a large construction site right next to the hotel with lots of debris and rubble which I assumed to be what was left of the restaurant. Secondly, I felt the room was very small and cramped for the large king-size bed and huge desk that was in the room. The use of striped wallpaper accentuated this feeling. Then the shower hose was broken when we went to take a shower and it took most of the morning for someone to fix it. When we complained a second time that it had been over an hour since someone said they were coming to fix it right away were given a very snippy response that there was over a dozen things that had to be taken care of that morning, and we were on the list; however, I must say the bed was quite comfortable, and the front desk clerk who checked us in was very friendly and helpful also in recommending a place to eat. All in all I was, however, disappointed with this stay, and I would not go back to that hotel.” Jul 5, 2007 by
John from Clermont, FL
“The hotel is in transition due to construction and needs a lot more work. Several entrances did not work, the rooms still need improvement and there was a "bad smell" in the halls.” Oct 24, 2006 by
Shawn from Arnold, MD
“Not at all what we would expect from a Sheraton hotel and enough to make us reconsider any additional stays at the Four Points line. We selected it because of the location and restaurant/bar. The restaurant is closed; the hotel sits so close to the highway that it's extremely noisy. When we walked in, there were guys drinking, smoking, and playing poker in the lobby. The pillowcases were dirty. There are no snack machines. The carpet is worn. There is a nice area behind the hotel along the creek, but this is not enough to make up for all the other short-comings.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 10, 2006 by

“location is very close to route 81. I suppose if they ever got the construction complete the hotel could be ok but I stayed there a year ago and it was a mess. saw no change this year. restaurant closed for over a year now. room shows signs of age. road construction in area going on four years.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 4, 2006 by

“The hotel was clean and beautiful. Loved the indoor pool. Star bucks is right across the street. There is a park two blocks away. The staff was friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job. We had a problem with the HBO and the staff was not very quick to give us an answer. On the third call (over our two day stay) we got an explanation. Maybe this was due to the weekend being Memorial Day and the huge soccer tournament the same weekend.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 30, 2006 by

“This hotel met or exceeded our expectations. We loved the balcony overlooking the river, and also thought the pool was clean, warm and very relaxing with the bonus of the sauna (which was in better working condition than most we have had experience with). Being only one-half hour out of Gettysburg made it a good location to end an educational and worthwhile vacation day in a way that allowed us to shift gears to a more relaxed state of mind. It was the last night of our vacation, and at breakfast the next morning, we had a very nice time, recounting in a leisurely way, all of the wonderful things we had done and seen on our vacation. It was a good way to end the trip, getting us refreshed for our long 9-hour drive home. We were very satisfied with our stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Chambersburg.” Apr 27, 2006 by
Debbie from Waynesboro, PA
“The room was beautiful and the location was close to eateries and activities. Easy access from Interstate 81.” Apr 9, 2006 by

“Everything was great, but the restaurant has been closed for sometime and will remain closed for sometime. T” Mar 20, 2006 by

“Not very clean, Needs to be remodeled.” Feb 25, 2006 by
Michael from Selden, NY
“Undergoing a renovation to the restaurant right now. It does not appear to be looking like it will be done soon. Other wise it is conveniently located to Gettysburg PA and very clean with wireless Internet access.”
