• The staff was friendly and very helpful.
• The pool and hot tub hours were too limited.

• Some road noise due to location near highway.

“I have to think that this hotel has been completely renovated and some staff replaced since some of the other reviews were written. I thought it was a fantastic deal and the room was among the cleanest and nicest I've ever stayed in (do keep in mind that I am a budget traveler). The beds were very comfortable, with quality fitted sheets and beautiful bedding. The bathroom was spotless and looked totally new, with a great shower. Everything worked perfectly and I visited the hot tub and several families were there having a riot in the pool, which had some fun features like a giant floating alligator and water jets that you could spray at each other. The fitness room was not clean, with 2 (good) treadmills and 2 other pretty old machines. The machines face a wall mirror, which I didn't like, and there was little air circulation. The staff was incredibly helpful. The location is convenient but I could hear some road noise at night.”

“Great staff, they were the most helpful I've ever been. I was loading in all our luggage, and one of the staff made the effort to help me without expecting a tip! Hotel is under construction, but it's still a great place. Good non-smoking rooms for our little toddler. I thought they were great enough, so I asked for another room there on my way back through Casper.”

“After staying in this hotel we were disappointed in this one in Casper. It sounds like they have great plans for it, but they would better get some good employees or it will bomb. We were most upset with our service at the restaurant for breakfast.”

• It was close to our meeting.
• The sewer backed up into our bathroom sink, no pool, food was a buffet which was awful.

“The floor and the first room we stayed in had a pungent odor. Come to find out it was a sewer odor because the sewer backed up into our bathroom sink the very next morning. My oldest child has asthma and she suffered two asthma attacks that weekend.”

• Beds were very comfortable. Very soft linens.
• Room was for handicapped. Would have preferred regular room. No continental breakfast.

“Very upscale hotel for the price, however there was no continental breakfast. Pool was under construction. Liked the extended lobby area with a few small shops, etc. Premium bedding and linens.”

• Location with regards to my business purpose and airport.
• Facet dripping in bathroom doors/walls not soundproof ageing hotel in need of renovations.

“This hotel is a building with box rooms and no soul whatsoever. It is ageing, so the facilities are obsolete, inefficient and in need to replacement. The bed was not comfortable, neither were the pillows. I did not sleep at all while I was there. The gym is a joke.”

“This hotel is fine - used to be the Hilton, then the Radisson. So it is a little nicer than your average Best Western. Rooms are clean, they are building a water park inside, and so the pool was closed for the summer.”

• Lobby and front desk was nice.
• Out dated and not what a high star rating would be.

“Doesn't meet expectations of what it offers, poor fitness room, which is extremely important to me as an active traveler who specifically looks for a fitness room, I even called the hotel to make sure the treadmills were in good working order. Our bathroom lighting was extremely poor I had to turn the heating lamp on for extra lighting.”

• Location and parking were good.
• Remarkably poorly trained front desk personnel, unfriendly, ignored, me for quite a while, while they did nothing else.

“Physical facilities ok, front desk staff needs to be booted and manager doesn't apparently know it. Perhaps the manager needs "corrective surgery".”

• Many of the staff members were quite pleasant.
• The infrastructure is in terrible need of updating. Many of the rooms are quite filthy!

“My recent visit to the Best Western Ramkota in Casper, Wyoming was truly the most miserable hotel experience that I have ever had. First, we had a day and a half without water! Then, the plumbing broke, and the place smelled of sewage. The staff then moved us into the slums of the property which were filthy, noisy, and barely livable! Upon discussing the issued with the manager (Matt) I was told that I was trying to take advantage of him! I will never stay there again, and suggest that if you are planning on staying at a hotel in Casper that you stay somewhere else!”

• It was very dirty and the wind came throw the window making a whistling noise all night.

“I was very disappointed for the room. I felt it was dirty and the wind whistling through the window took away the quiet nights sleep and then the false fire alarm at 3 30 in the morning scaring the crap out of us didn't help for a good nights sleep. So overall I was not impressed with my stay you asked.”

• Front desk staff great, hotel beautiful, and food just ok, I would go back and would recommend to others.
• Fire alarm at 4:00 am; restaurant staff slow, food ok, not great.

“The hotel is beautifully designed, rooms very nice and clean, front desk clerk very professional and nice, and offered great information and directions. Close to airport. Nice pool and spa area. Had laundry facilities. No gift shop- needed hair ties and aspirin but did not want to leave the hotel to get them.”

• The room was spacious and very comfortable.
• Other guests on the floor were noisy and disturbing late at night. The drain in the bathtub drained very slowly.

“The hotel was satisfactory; the room was clean and comfortable. The disruptive guests could not be blamed on the hotel. It would have been nice if there was better sound control between the rooms. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I was given a smoking room but was changed quickly to a non smoking room when I asked the front desk. I would recommend some sort of air freshening for the smoking rooms, the odor was quite bad.”

• Had a great sleeping experience. Slept like a baby.
• The bath tub was set high but the shower head was not compensated for height.

“The maintenance crew needs to learn how to use caulk. The tub job was very immature. The shower heads need to be set for those who are tall. I had to nearly put myself on my knees to truly wash my hair and body thoroughly. I also have a pregnant wife that had troubles getting into the tub, much less be able to tilt her body in a fashion to wash her hair and rinse shampoo or conditioner out. My wife is average height so I felt it ridiculous that she had to bend to try and enjoy her shower. Other than that, they need a continental breakfast along with the restaurant.”

“I felt the staffs were rude when I checked in. I usually receive good service as I am friendly and smile a lot. I was disappointed in the hotel itself. It is dated and a little run down. The internet connection wasn't very good. The bed was comfortable and the room was very good sized, but still overall it was less than I was expecting.”

• It was convenient to where I needed to go.
• The restaurant was not open when people normally want to dine.

“The beds were soft--too soft. The staff was wonderful. We could not eat until after 7 pm unless we went to the bar and would have like to have a place to enjoy a cup of coffee. It was not any better than a lower rate hotel and didn't have the services available that lower rate hotels offer.”

• The hotel is in need of updating and it could also use a good cleaning, our toddler found several beer bottle caps and other junk.

• Whole place could be a lot cleaner.

“Hotel is located right off I-25 and Poplar, very convenient; we arrived early evening to check in; front desk clerk was not friendly or welcoming; pool was not working; had trouble with high speed Internet access and hotel staff sent general maintenance worker to room to tell me to call a 800 number???; found dirty sock in room and trash in bathroom when we first arrived in room; whole place seemed like it needed cleaning, included dirty elevators, stairs, side entrances, etc. This place needs some serious help if it is going to stay a Best Western.”

“My room was dirty. When the wind blew you could hear it howling through the window because the window wouldn't close properly. The work out room was dirty and 1/2 the machines didn't work. It was noisy, there was a dance competition in town. Kids ran up and down the halls literally screaming and yelling until midnight. I would not recommend this hotel.”

• I liked the atmosphere and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and considerate. I noted a problem with the room and they checked into it immediate.
• The menu was not family friendly, rather expensive for young children say younger than teenagers.

“Upon getting to the hotel had a good first impression. The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't see any signs where to go to the elevators. I also didn't see any carts to get luggage to the room. Would be helpful for those disabled. The room was clean. If a person didn't know Casper, there is a problem knowing the entrance and exit to the hotel grounds, no indication unless you drove over the curbs.”

• The cost of the room based on others in the area like it, the occupancy, and locale.

“This hotel is a great one for families, especially if you get a room next to the pool. It is very centrally located, as well as located right next to the interstate so ease of arriving, departing makes is desirable. Front desk staff could be slightly more friendly, and accommodating.”

• Cleaning crew slow to get to rooms, pool looked cloudy

“Overall a pleasing experience at the Ramkota Hotel in Casper. Check in was smooth and friendly. Fitness center was very small, and had no weights (only four machines to use total). The pool area was pleasant, but wouldn't want to get in the water as it looked very cloudy. Free high speed internet was great for our needs. Would recommend this to our friends, especially for the price we paid.”
