• Older rooms were large.
• Very, loud.

“This hotel is in an odd location that's hard to get to. It's an older, hotel with a funky layout. Extremely loud and attracts a large % of clientele that thinks its okay to yell back & forth down three floors & across the atrium. Kids running through halls & screaming day and night. Airplanes loud overhead. Hot tub in the middle of atrium with no privacy.”

• I was in route to Antigua and the airlines had a 11 hour layover, so I sent the night, the experience was perfect.

“There is nothing I could find wrong. The last minute my travel arrangements were changed by the airlines that forced me to be layed over in Dallas for 11 hours and the location, price was perfect for this unexpected expense. The hotel, staff, transfer was without a hitch. Perfect, and the bed was very comfortable, morning coffee in the room delicious and convenient since I had to be at the airport at 04:30. Thanks for a great deal.”

“When we arrived at the hotel there were two people in front of me in line. There were two people behind the counter, but one was busy watching the other instead of helping customers. It took about 15-20 minutes to get to the counter. I had called earlier in the day to confirm that I had a room with 2 queen beds. The clerk tried to put me in a king room. It took extreme persistence to get the 2 Queen beds that I had reserved and confirmed. By the time my check-in was complete, there were probably 10-15 people behind me in line. We got to our room, opened the door and were shocked at how filthy the carpet was. There were stains everywhere. It looked like either pets had been left for a few days alone in the room, or someone had just poured things into the carpet. These were not fresh stains; they were old stains. Because it was after 11pm and there was a long line at the desk, we kept our shoes on and spent the night in the room. The beds were very hard. This is an older property that had done a budget renovation. You know the kind - they put up new wallpaper and bedspreads, but leave the old fixtures in the bathrooms. The tub didn't drain very fast, so we showered in standing water. The beds were incredibly hard. The next morning I called the desk and asked for the manager to come to our room to see the carpet. She arrived within 10 minutes. When I asked her to look at the carpet, she asked me if it was like that when we checked in. What a dumb question. She agreed that the carpet wasn't up to standards and said that she'd move us to a different room. We went on our way for the day and came back to the hotel around 3pm. We stopped at the desk and asked if they'd been able to locate another room for us with 2 beds and clean carpet. They had the check-in paperwork and room keys on the desk waiting for us. We went to the old room, got our stuff and moved to the new room. The maid was cleaning our old room.”

• The room was a very nice suite and the staff was very helpful. I parked my car at the hotel and they provide shuttle service to and from DEW.

• The paper cups. When I drank water from paper cups, the water taste like the paper cups.

“I will not stay there again. First night was okay but second night they had a big Christmas party with loud music till late. We were trying to sleep at 9:00 pm - no luck. The hotel design with the open middle is awful for noise when they hold parties in the open center area.”

• Clumsy location on the service road of the TX-183 freeway.

“The room had one of the strangest configurations that I've ever seen
with the bathroom, shower and sink behind the bed on one side of the room and the refrigerator and small sink behind the bed on the other side. There was plenty of space in the room, and it's A good place for leisure travelers to spend the weekend. Better bring a GPS device to find the place, as it's in a clumsy location on the service road of the TX-183 freeway. By the time you see it, you've passed the exit needed to get there.”

• The food was pretty good.

“I did not like this hotel. The staff was not helpful and
not friendly. Plus, they seemed to be very under-staffed for the size of the establishment. I waited at the service desk for almost twenty minutes before being helped.”

• Shower was not very strong and bath tub drain did not work.

“Overall, the hotel was very nice and pleasant. Not loud. The breakfast buffet does not serve on the weekend. Restaurant staff was not very customer friendly and willing to provide service outside of the box. I went to the breakfast area and wanted to use the hotel provided coupon. I was told that it was only valid in the restaurant area. I was in the area but wanted to take it to the room. I went down thinking that the buffet was open and could take a box with me. What difference does it make?”

• Hot tub & pool.
• I had to move into 4 different rooms before I got one that had a good bed, hot water and internet. The 4th room had broken closet doors.

“The first room did not seem to have working wireless, so they moved me. That was no problem, since I had just arrived. In the 2nd room, I got comfortable just to find that there was no hot water. (They said that I didn't run it long enough, but I really did let it run & run & run without success). They offered to have maintenance look at it, while I was gone & I agreed. The fix-it guy said that there was nothing wrong with it. Since I didn't want to take a cold shower, they moved me again. The 3rd room had hot water, so I unpacked. When I got into bed at 11pm, I found that the sleep number bed was broken. The bed was like a sinkhole and I slept terribly. In the morning I asked the front desk about it & they said they'd have maintenance look at it while I was gone. I really don't think anyone looked at it. When I returned, they didn't have any information about the bed. They just asked me to move to another room. The 4th room had internet, a working bed, and hot water. Hooray! (Closet doors were broken). I was only there two nights and had 4 rooms. The lady at the front desk gave me a breakfast coupon, so I went to the buffet. The bacon was like jerky and the eggs were slimy. The waffle cooker didn't work. I can say that I was very happy in the pool and hot tub and that was the best part of my time there. The hotel is on a one-way road, so it is not easy to access. The road signs are terrible, too. The address says Airport Freeway, but I think that road has 2 other names as well. Confusing & hard to find at night. I was really excited about staying there because this was my first solo trip. I am certainly glad that my family was not with me during all of those rooms changes.”

“An amply large room allows space for chairs, a desk, entertainment center and drawers, and two queen beds. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. It is easily accessible to the freeway and between both Dallas airports. Many shops, restaurants, and a mall nearby. The indoor pool is a nice touch.”

“Sleep number bed was great. Service was good, but front desk personnel are not reachable behind the podium after hours. I had to throw something at him to get his attention. Otherwise, everyone was courteous and nice, and I enjoyed the experience.”

• The design of the rooms are nice and beds are very comfortable. Enjoyed the fridge and microwave.
• Had extreme trouble finding a luggage cart and when I received one, could not get anyone to bring it back to the hotel from the car for me.

“This hotel has great potential. The first night of my stay was fine. The second night, however, the guests that were at the hotel during my stay were extremely loud and were up at all hours of the night making racket. I tried calling the front desk at 1:00 am to report the noise, but got no answer- three times. There was food all over the ground and furniture in the pool area. I was most disappointed when I could not find a luggage cart to load the car, and when I finally received one (hour later), no one helped me bring the cart back up to the hotel which is difficult and unsafe when you have small children in the car. All in all, this hotel has a nice location and was fairly easy to get to. It has a nice bar and bartender for a little grown-up time. The beds were very comfortable and bathtub was very clean. Because of the nice night we had the first night, I would recommend this hotel as an inexpensive place to stay for a night, but not a good place for a long visit. Staff should excel more in customer service and have items/staff more accessible for customers to utilize. I did enjoy the gift shop and visited there both evenings.”

• Very open floor plan, don't have to wait long for elevator, rooms are very spacious, beds are the best sleep number rocks!
• The view.

“This was a last minute buy and I was very pleased for the price! Sleep number beds were so relaxing, any questions we had front desk always had the right answer everything that you might need is just a few blocks away Wal-Mart , restaurants, and gas stations. Over all I give it a 10 thank you!”
