• Easy access to IAH. Free Parking. Transportation to airport, helpful, friendly, professional staff, clean, modern, comfortable Rooms.
• Would be nice to have access to free Wi-Fi in every room.

• The rooms were really nice. Clean and roomy.
• Bed pillow too small, not comfy. Bar closes at 12 too early when on vacation.

“Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. the room was very nice and clean, very up to date(contemporary. ) The staff was friendly. We did not like the bed pillows they were too small and very soft. We also were not pleased that the bar closed at midnight. Especially when your on vacation you want to be able to have a few drinks and then go up to your room. we felt they are losing business in that aspect.”

“This hotel is very noisy because to the atrium design of the lobby and public spaces. The charges for the internet are much too high for a business hotel ($10 per day).”

• Very well appointed.
• Maid service.

“The hotel was nice and the staff for the most part was friendly. My auto was secure with visible security at night. I was distressed the 2nd day to see the maid clean the glassware in my room while she wearing the same gloves she wore to clean my toilet and shower, drying them with an old rag.”

• Excellent location, very nice and
  comfortable room.
• 2 things WiFi not free in the room, and party in hotel ballroom carried over into a room next door and it took hotel staff over 2 hours to correct.

“Mostly an excellent hotel, room was very nice, beds and blankets were very comfortable. Nice flat screen TV, great desk in the room for working. Free WiFi, but only in the hotel lobby, you have to pay for it in your room.”

“Recommend to everyone, great staff, good menu. Room was nicer than my bedroom and twice as comfortable. Fluffy towels didn't miss home, lots of luxury, nice TV. Good parking and informed staff.

• It's location to the airport and the shuttle service.
• Not clean.

“I had one of those experiences where nothing worked. The desk clerk could not stop talking gossip with her colleague and check me in. Three lights in the room, the wireless internet and the alarm clock didn't worked and there was not enough hot water to take a shower.”

• Elegant, fancy and you sure feel welcome.
• One entrance of the hotel was under construction and we had to park far and enter thought the back doors.

“I would definitely stay there again. It was elegant, clean, friendly, and you felt at home.”

• They comped a nice sit down breakfast the 2 days we were there. Staff great.
• Just need to be aware of your surroundings. It is not an area you would want to walk to eat or exercise.

“Great hotel everything new from top to bottom. Beds very comfortable, new furnishings, etc. Sure hope it is available for our next stay in Houston.”

• The room was absolutely gorgeous & very comfy!
• There wasn't anything I didn't like.

“There were 2 very minor things I needed fixed in the room and maintenance came up & fixed them within about 10 minutes. The entire staff was friendly & actually seemed like they enjoyed their job. I stayed at the Sugar Land Marriott 2 nights later and it didn't hold a candle to the Crowne Plaza. Not even close!”

• Very nice rooms, loved the beds, the lavender spray, the sleep CD.
• I think someone had previously smoked in my room, internet was free in lobby only.

“Pretty easy to find from the airport, close to restaurants and toll road. Staff recommended a nice Mexican restaurant. Helpful staff with the internet printing problems.”

• The newly remodeled rooms are beautiful.
• The business center is dirty and does not meet the rest of the hotels standards.

“This hotel is great place to stay in Houston if your business takes you to the IAH area. There is a secure parking area and the rooms are beautiful. Room service was wonderful and overall this is my choice hotel for the area.”

• I like my room and the lobby area was beautiful.
• The bathroom and every night we would get up to 8th floor and none of the keys worked.

“The lobby area and the rooms,4 stars. The bathrooms, 2.5 stars. Friendly and helpful, 2.0 parking, 1.5 star. Main entrance was closed, leaving not much parking.”

• The room was very modern and clean, comfortable bed, comfortable staff.
• The pool is not conveniently located.

“We had a great experience. We were there for only one night and did not have a reason to eat at the restaurants. The staff was very friendly. The only thing I thought could have been improved was the location of the pool. To get there, you had to walk completely across a very large lobby area where there was an open bar, and I did not feel comfortable doing that in swimming clothes. That is a minor complaint. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• The staff and room was great, comfortable bed.
• The room I had was below the lobby and you could hear everyone walking above.

“Formerly Hotel Sofitel, which I had the privilege of staying in 1980. Modern interior, wide open spaces, open atrium. My first room wouldn't accommodate 3 of us, and I'm disabled, but the front desk person brought our new keys to us - we didn't have to go back and receive them. Wonderful l experience!”

• It definitely is a quality 3 star hotel for Houston.
• I was concerned about crime because they had a security vehicle with flashing light driving around the parking lot all the time.

“Room was very nice, staff was helpful and friendly. Location is very good for the Houston Intercontinental Airport. 15-20 minutes to downtown on the weekend.”

“We were on the ground floor, the piano being played outside in the lobby got annoying (a guest was playing) the soundproof wasn't very good. Front door access was up some stairs or ramp. Everything was really okay.”

• Had to bring luggage up stairs from parking to entry level.

“I brought three grandchildren to Houston for some activity and fun. They were elated with the plush beds and flat screen TV. It was very nice and the staff was very accommodating.”

“Apparently this hotel recently underwent a major renovation. The rooms are beautiful and clean with comfy beds and nice linens. We ordered room service expected room service type food and were pleasantly surprised to get great food! We had sandwiches, Mac &cheese and dessert.”

• It was very nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable with ample pillows.
• The curtains would not close all the way and our window faced the lobby and it was very bright.

“This hotel was very nicely decorated and conveniently located off of the highway. We only had a couple issues with the hotel. The cover entrance was blocked off due to renovations and it just so happened that we were in a huge downpour when we arrived. So we were asked to enter on the side entrance with no cover and also no help dragging our bags ups 6 or 7 steps in the pouring rain with our two small children.”

• The room was updated & very comfortable - good staff.
• In the middle of construction & bottom basement floor had just flooded - limited bellman for luggage.

“The room was extremely comfortable & really set up perfectly for a business traveler with the desk, phone, computer access, & electrical outlets everywhere. Once the upgrades are completed on the rest of the hotel, it will be great. Very easy travel access to the airport. Good staff - not well informed of restaurant options in the area, but otherwise great. Would stay there again.”

• Very clean, some what helpful but friendly workers.
• I did not like the fact that I didnt get any parking the last night I was there due to a party held there.

“I have to say that over all my stay there was very nice. But due to the days I staid there, No one was able to help me in getting parking due to a prom that was held there. I had to park across the street and walk back. I didnt like that very much because it was very late at night.”
