• Spacious hotel with airy feel.
• Internet is unreliable and expensive and sites are restricted.

“Nice hotel for business travelers. Most of the staff
is friendly with the exception of one or two at the front desk who can be obstructive.”

• Convenient.
• The night I stayed the hot water went out and there was no water pressure. I could not take a shower.

“I have had good luck with Marriott properties in the past but this experience was not good. The hot water did not work and there was very little water pressure in the room.”

• The rooms, beds and pillows look very nice and feel nice, also the gym facilities are excellent.
• If there is something I can say is that the parking lot was always full and I had a sick person going to memorial hospital.

“The hotel is very nice, the lobby, the rooms look like a 4 star hotel, I was very happy with what I found, the location was very convenient for my activities, you have everything around, and we stayed for 8 days, I was late in the mornings some days and they always made up our room no matter what time we left in the morning or noon, I was very pleased and I will recommend it.”

• From the time we walked in circular revolving doors, we felt we were in the lap of luxury.
• The only problem was the TV internet keyboard wasn't working properly, and one of the lamps needed the light bulbs replaced upon taking our room.

“This hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, including the rooms. If you don't wish to eat at the hotel restaurant, there are many restaurants within walking or short drive distances for all pocketbooks and palates. The heated indoor/outdoor pool is still cold-cool with infant pools and Jacuzzi is close by. There's also fully equipped, including complimentary soaps, shampoos, etc. in the locker rooms so that you can shower up before returning to your room. This was especially nice so you wouldn't have to shiver and drip in the hotel back to your room. To access weight rooms & pools, you must bring your room key. Forno Italian restaurant, Marble Slab Creamery, & Chili's within walking distance are excellent. Santo's Mexican Food also within walking distance is mediocre. All in the Carillon Center next to Marriott Westchase.”

• Very Nice! We were so pleased with our value.
• There was neither a mini-fridge nor an in-room safe.

“The hotel was very nice. I would recommend to the hotel to install an alarm in the pool/spa area. The front desk was not aware of a problem. It was a very traumatic experience for our family, but was happy that it all ended in survival for the 2 children that were from Africa.”

“A large, busy hotel with courteous international staff. Beautiful lobby with restaurant, bar and coffee shop. Well-appointed room with Marriott's great bedding and a refreshing shower. Wi-Fi does cost extra. Excellent west Houston location, but beware the construction on nearby Beltway 8.”

• The staff was polite and helpful. The lobby is very inviting.
• The hot tub needed service and the room was at the very end of the hall.

“The hotel lobby is very inviting and the staff is polite and helpful. The rooms are good size. The bed was on the hard side but that is a personal preference. I am use to a waterbed. The pool area was ok but nothing special and the hot tub needed service. There was a nice workout facility with cardio and free weights.”

• Marriot Houston West chase asked to pay for Internet, but the Pravia in Dallas did not.

“Nice location near highway access, great workout, swimming pool indoor and outdoor, ease to park and walk to hotel, nice lobby. Just wish that they include the Internet access like many other hotels.”

• A little hard to get to from Downtown Houston, especially with nearby toll road and traffic.

• The indoor pool, work out facilities and its pretty.
• Nothing really. Wish breakfast was included, but you can't have everything.

• No free Wi-Fi anywhere in hotel. In-room internet service was poor, very slow.

“Last minute trip to Houston for a funeral. Didn't want to pay a high room rate and didn't want to stay in a 2* motel. Got a great rate for this 3* which I thought was as nice as our previous stay in Houston at a 4* hotel. Great location off Westheimer with all the restaurants and just a block off Beltway 8 for easy access in and out of town. Free self parking in a very large lot. Nice room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Small bathroom but with great Bath and Body Works products and a nice granite counter with lots of space for our things. Very friendly staff, offered us a king bed then found us a room with my requested outside view (some rooms look into the atrium and have less privacy). On Sunday afternoon they have a wonderful Jazz combo playing in the lobby for the brunch crowd. Only complaint was there is no free Wi-Fi anywhere in the hotel. In-room internet was $9.95 but was very poor slow service.”

• The customer service given was fantastic.
• Parking was slightly limited.

“I found the hotel to be above my expectations. The staff was very friendly and prompt. The room was very clean, and the atmosphere relaxing. Overall one of the best experiences I have had.”

• Comfortable bed, business center with free internet, laundry facilities.
• Air conditioning did not work properly in room. Hallways and public spaces were way too cold. Internet costs $10/day in room.

This hotel, like many others, has the hallways and atrium area very cold. Front desk personnel and management not responsive to raising temperature. We have energy crisis in this country, and this is a huge waste of energy.”

• Location was great for purposes of this trip. We have stayed here before when it was an Adams Mark and like the design.
• No complaints.
