• Location. It's close to Colonial Williamsburg but not nearly as pricey.
• The garage ceiling is very low so we parked in the outside lot. Which was a bit of a walk?

“Great hotel. Our room was very spacious, and it had a view of the lovely courtyard. We asked for a refrigerator in advance, and we only had to pay $10 extra. It's only two blocks from Colonial Williamsburg, and its right next door to the Green Leafe Cafe, which USA Today rates as one of the best bars in the country. No drunk driving for us. We only had to walk around the corner. There's a convenience store nearby, too. We can't wait to go back. There's so much to explore in that area, and there's nowhere that I'd rather stay. I recommend it highly.”

• Clean, comfortable room. Nice bathroom, too.
• Nothing, really.

• Across the street from W&M.
• Not very clean. Dark and gloomy.

“Hotel obviously has seen better days. I thought the hotel was unclean and needed a make-over.”

• Very large rooms, location.
• An included continental breakfast would help greatly with children/family.

• Can walk to all Colonial attractions. Next door to Green Leafe Cafe!
• Parking was inconvenient due to garage being full. Needs bigger pool.

• Close to Merchants Square, College, Colonial Village.
• Does not have snack Mach. how about diabetics.

“Staff was very friendly. I found that a lack of a snack machine to be very disappointing. Some people are diabetics and need a snack. They do not want to walk a block to the Wa-Wa like I was told. Also found parking garage to be very short in height. This does not allow for someone who has a van or a large SUV.”
