  • Close to Busch Garderns and restaurants, clean, comfortable beds.
  • Nintendo Game Cube did not work, staff tried to fix the problem.

“We have two young children and they wanted to play Nintendo but it didn't work. The staff tried to fix the problem but was unsuccessful. Our kids were disappointed but got over it pretty quickly.”

  • Great FANTASTIC restaurant, pool and staff.
  • Beds uncomfortable, Ice bowl was dirty.

“The restaurant was WONDERFUL! A Louisiana style cooking. Beds were a little rough and our ice bowl was dirty but everything else was GREAT! Hot tub and pool was also very nice.”

  • VERY close to Busch Gardens, huge pool, great staff.
  • It just seemed like it was in need of a makeover/update.

“Hotel was in a great location and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, but old. Therefore, it almost gave the appearance of being dirty. The hot tub didn't work and appeared to be in need of other maintenance. The pool was huge - the biggest hotel pool I've ever seen.”

  • The staff was rude, the toilet did not work, bathroom is very small, and it is very noisy.

“Horrible hotel, staff is rude, I was told by the front desk girl that it was up to her what room I got. The toilet did not work and the only room they had was a pet room, which I am highly allergic to. Not recommended for anyone!”

  • Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed/pillows and nice pool area.
  • Bathroom was tight. Not enough room to open door without hitting the shower. It would be nice to have a continental breakfast.

“This is the second year we have stayed in this facility. It is very nice. We enjoyed both visits. The staff is friendly. The hotel is clean. The indoor pool area is very nice....the heated pool is actually heated.”

  • The suite allowed us to be with our family after you had finished being out for the day.
  • The room suite could have been to a higher finish of cleanliness.

“The suite we stayed in had 2 bedrooms 1 on suite a living room and a basic kitchen/dining area. This allowed us to spend time with the family instead of being split between 2 separate rooms. The hotel could have a better standard of cleanliness (the towels cheeped me out). We had an excellent stay, allowing us to explore the Williamsburg area with ease.”

  • The room was clean and sufficient size. Only a ten minute walk to Colonial Williamsburg.
  • Although this is a smoke-free facility, there was still a slight odor of cigarettes.

“The location of the hotel was great. Our beds were comfortable. The cleaning staff was friendly. We enjoyed the pool. We would definitely stay here again.”

  • The location is good and the morning coffee in the lobby was nice.
  • The room was tiny and in significant disrepair and not good quality bathroom fixtures. Missing trim on the counter tops. Maid service did not happen.

“Do not rely on the Sheraton name for this hotel. There are much better rooms in Williamsburg. I'm not sure if our room was one of the worst.”

“The condo was nice except for the fact that you could not take off your shoes. Pet stains all over the rug and the internet hook up didn't work more than 2 minutes. Toilet in 2nd bath started to leak around base.”

“There was only one person on duty when we arrived on a Friday night and we had to wait to check in. The room they gave us smelled musty and sprayed with too much air freshener. The second room was better but did not come without a long wait.”

  • The staff and Management were awesome. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.
  • I was a little disappointed in the breakfast buffet, But only that everything else was wonderful.

“I was amazed when even the General Manager came to greet me and gave me his business card just in case there was anything he could do for us. The front desk personal were professional and beyond helpful with every need. Every employee I came in contract with except for one greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed anything. I was with my elderly friend and the maids even helped her into the room when I was not with her. The maintenance man came in and showed her how to work the remote and he was wonderful with her and very understanding to her needs (she could not figure out the remote and how it worked on the TV). The location is awesome and the grounds, facilities, and the room were very clean and organized. I loved this hotel and would like to stay there again. Again very impressed with the staff.”

  • The rooms were newly renovated - to decent looking decor.
  • The lobby and hallways smelled badly - a weird mix of cigarette smoke and nasty cleaner.

“This was definitely nothing special. But for the price, we cannot complain. It was the right location and a place to lay our heads at night. Although we had double beds (I think they claimed were queens) that were way too small for my wife and I.”

  • Very noisy at night - terrible doors that kept no sound out! No breakfast.

“We had very good service at this hotel! We have a baby and needed a refrigerator for the baby food and they gave us one! The only problem was the loud junior high/highschoolers at night. The doors must have been thin or something because we could hear everything that happened in the hall. But the front desk was very accommodating and offered to move us to a different room if the noise got to be too loud. We loved the location! Right across the street from where colonial Williamsburg started across the street was a beautiful fenced in pasture for horses. Our little boys loved it! We were close enough to walk right into colonial Williamsburg every day! This hotel is somewhere we would definitely stay again! Free wireless bottled water for free the only thing they could do differently was to serve a free continental breakfast. We missed having that available!”

  • Bath was very small. Sink was in with shower/bath.

“Good appearance. Good neighborhood. Nice room but small bath area. Sink on one side of commode and shower on other side of commode. I prefer a sink and mirror outside of toilet/shower area so two people can get ready at the same time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.”

  • The hotel was in a great location right between the downtown colonial area and Busch gardens.
  • The water pressure wasn't the best.

“Our stay was great. The hotel provided coffee, danishes and apples daily. They also have a computer with a printer in the main lobby for guests to use. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.”

  • Restaurant was overpriced, food mediocre, should've got the wings as another guest suggested.

  • The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
  • There were a number of small issues with the room: the closet door was broken, the remote control for the TV didn't work, the mattress was sagging.

“The hotel met my basic expectations. The room was clean and the staff was great. However, one of the beds in the room desperately needed a new mattress! The hotel is located beside Colonial Williamsburg and a short drive from tons of restaurants. I would recommend that visitors request a room away from the pool if staying at this hotel in the spring when school groups are in town. There were groups of about 100 children (not an exaggeration) in the pool both nights of my stay. My room was on the pool level and the window was only about 5 feet from the pool enclosure, so I was subjected to their howls of pleasure until 10:00 p.m. (pool closing time) each night.”

“I would recommend this hotel to a family of four. The type of accommodation we had would not be big enough for more than four people. I was mistakenly under the impression that there would be a free refrigerator in our room, it was possible to rent one for $10/day, and that there would be a kitchenette.”

“I very rarely find a room that is so dirty I won't stay in it, but this hotel definitely fit that description. We changed rooms once with little to no improvement, so checked out and did not stay here. It gives Sheraton a bad name, and I always thought I could trust Sheraton a star rating is way off.”

  • Fire alarm kept us up the first night. Poor housekeeping.

“This hotel was no where near the quality I would have expected. The fire alarm went off at 2 am and we had to evacuate until after 4. Then it continued to go off until after 9 the next morning. Housekeeping never came to clean our room the next day until 7:30 at night. They left us a broken glass and never replaced it. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. Room was very small and plain. Dining prices were outrageous. There was also no complimentary breakfast.”

  • Location - Right in Colonial Williamsburg.
  • No breakfast, no microwave nor fridge in room.

“Hotel was pleasant but did not offer amenities of other hotels. No breakfast, no microwave, no fridge. 24 hour coffee shown but not available. They did have a bowl of apples at the reception. The location is great and we found out after arriving that we could have got a discount at Colonial Williamsburg by showing our room key.”
