“I would recommend this hotel. The price was right, and we really liked the living area being separate from the bedroom. The staff could not have been nicer.” May 7, 2009 by
Matt from Virginia Beach,VA
“Nice hotel, great pool/hot tub, good breakfast, clean modern rooms with comfortable beds.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Elizabeth from Midlothian, VA
“We arrived at 2:30 AM to check in and had to wait about 5 minutes before anyone noticed we were at the front desk. Desk staff was not friendly. On the way to our room we had to pass a number of piles of trash, dirty towels ant other mess left out by the cleaning crew while they were in progress. Room itself was average, nothing special. Parking was very tight, especially when we arrived back late in the evening. Breakfast in the morning had a great variety and a nice large room for eating. Check out was moderately quick and staff was more friendly.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Julie from Raleigh, NC
“This hotel was wonderful overall. It wasn't far at all from Busch Gardens and the beds were super comfortable to pass out in after a day there! The room and all the facilities were very clean and the pool area looked great, unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use it. The bathroom was roomy and clean with plenty of counter space and there was a hairdryer and everything. There was a closet in the room and free internet and TV so the room basically had everything, the only thing they didn't have was a micro fridge and microwave which the fridge would've been nice to keep drinks in and stuff. The continental breakfast area was large and had a good variety of food, it was very nice. The staff overall was great, one person was not very friendly but it wasn't bad or anything. The parking lot seemed very crowded and hard to find a space but I guess that's expected. Overall this hotel was an awesome and I would definitely stay there again!” Sep 4, 2008 by
Ishong from Herndon, VA
“Very dirty toilets, beddings, torn bed sheets, horrible!” Aug 23, 2008 by
Steve from Salem, VA
“I was disappointed with the Fairfield. From the lack of soap and shampoo in the room to the having to get the key rescanned on three occasions. Also, the free breakfast was not ready at 7:00AM as posted. There were several items either still locked up or missing. I would not recommend this hotel.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Louis from El Paso, TX
“Great value. Good location. Super clean rooms. Staying here was an excellent experience.” Aug 11, 2008 by
Lo from Fairfax, VA
“Great location -- safe and easy to find; spacious, clean, comfortable room; good choices at breakfast (which is included in price); pool looked clean and nice, though we did not use it.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Andrew from Fredericksburg, VA
“Overall our stay was pleasant. The room was nicely appointed and reflected the level I would expect from a chain like Fairfield. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful, providing directions and maps. They seemed to be very knowledgeable about the area. The only complaint was at breakfast. Granted we arrived to breakfast late (around 9:30, they stop serving at 10:30) and it was a Saturday morning. The dining area was just very dirty. Food on the floor, sticky tables and serving areas. The food layout was not intuitive.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Ida
“Easy access, clean, comfortable, large indoor pool and exercise area. Large, bright, clean rooms. Close to attractions and restaurants.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Tracy from Mechanicsville, VA
“Great stay. Will stay again.” Jul 27, 2008 by
Kelly from Dumfries, VA
“The pool deck with filthy with mud and dirty towels. For two days no clean towels were replenished in the pool area. Breakfast was good but more microwave ovens are needed since the breakfast sandwiches are your highlighted item. Can't eat them frozen and most families were micro waving 4 or more which means a long wait for the microwave. Money was stolen from our guest room during the time we left for dinner. Have to believe it was an inside job (front desk staff or maintenance) as it was in the evening. Manager had maintenance run a check of the lock on our door and allegedly no one unauthorized entered during our stay. Mind you maintenance was a likely suspect who can access keys to any room as desk staff (there were 2 ladies on duty that evening and not extremely friendly). Extremely disappointing!” Jul 22, 2008 by
Sophie from Brooklyn, NY
“I went to there for the amusements parks therefore I was looking to spend too much money, so I settled for a 2 star hotel. I was nervous and expecting the worst so I guess due to my extremely low expectations I was very pleased with this hotel. I've actually been to worst hotels with more stars.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Pei “I highly recommend this hotel. It's nice and clean. It's indoor swimming pool is very attractive. Convenient location and good price!” Jun 16, 2008 by
James from Scotland Neck, NC
“I would highly recommend Fairfield Inn because of it met every expectation anyone would have. There was adequate parking, the continental breakfast was excellent, the rooms were clean and the staff was courteous and helpful.” Nov 5, 2007 by

“Great hotel at a reasonable price. I will return.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Susan
“Very nice hotel with clean, comfortable rooms! The breakfast buffet was extensive and quite good! The swimming pool area was nice but dangerous because the floor surface was overly wet and slippery! Their was very little traction on the pool floor surface. I fell very hard on the surface hitting my hip and buttock area! I nearly hit my head on the corner of the raised hot tub ceramic area. Something really needs to be done to make the pool area safer!” Aug 22, 2007 by
Patricia
“I will not choose Fairfield or Marriott for any future stays.” May 31, 2007 by
Mike
“Very nice hotel. Rooms were neat and clean and staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was not well stocked for the crowds, but otherwise, we would highly recommend this hotel. The location is great for both Historic Williamsburg and Busch Gardens.” May 10, 2007 by

“Hotel was clean. 2 employees at check-in were courteous & helpful. Breakfast was big - lots of variety. Lobbies/seating areas/TVs aplenty. Gym was too warm - AC was not on – also no fans were available. 2 computers available in lobby area. Room was very warm - need ventilation.” Apr 30, 2007 by

“Overall good services, would stay there again. Loves the bedding and the firmness of the mattress.” Nov 27, 2006 by

“We love the hotel except for the nasty housekeeper.” Aug 3, 2006 by
Emelda “The hotel was great and in a perfect location and convenience to restaurants.” Oct 15, 2005 by

“No problem with a non-smoking room. Staff was great. This hotel shares common parking with another hotel and both our hotel and the other were loaded with guests. We had to walk some distance after we parked. Check-in and out was flawless despite the crowd.” Sep 11, 2005 by
Mutuiri M. from Hyattsville, MD
“We had great time. The swimming pool and exercise room were fun.” Sep 8, 2005 by
Deneen from Hyattsville, MD
“My family and I was looking forward to using the pool and the pool was out. We were told that it will be unavailable the time of our visit. Now they did say that we can go to another hotel down the road but that would have been a little to much.” Sep 8, 2005 by
Kevin
“Very friendly staff, nice breakfast and good location.” Sep 1, 2005 by
Paul from Hillsboro, OR
“A very nice hotel, conveniently located” Aug 28, 2005 by
Bonnie from Mt. Vernon, WA
“We spent little time in this hotel, but it was fine. My only complaint is that when we called four times to get ahold of housekeeping, they weren't available. We still don't have the results from their search and are waiting to hear that they did find them and will be sending them. They were new things my grandughter had just bought with her aunt in Norfolk.” Aug 26, 2005 by
Daniel from Port Neches, TX
“Hotel was new and very clean. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and attractions. Convenient location to attractions.” Aug 26, 2005 by
Kenn from Florence, MS

Timothy from Fort Thomas, KY
“nice place, parking a little crowded. Did not have 2 double room at check in.” Aug 16, 2005 by
Greg from Alexandria, VA
“Very nice staff willing to assist with questions. Great location to Williamsburg sites, shopping, Bausch Gardens and William & Mary College campus. Excellent value with a breakfast included in price. Top box scores!” Aug 12, 2005 by

“Very nice, great value.” Aug 12, 2005 by
Sarah from Hamden, CT
“The staff was friendly and helpful, and the located was in close proximity to everywhere I visited during my stay. They offer a nice breakfast, and do an excellent job of maintaining the breakfast area during service. I would recommend to friends without hesitation.” Aug 11, 2005 by
Joseph from Deptford, NJ
“The Fairfield Inn Williamsburg is a clean, comfortable hotel located closely to all Williamsburg attractions. The hotel's lobby is warm and friendly, and the rooms are adequate. The hotel has many included amenities, including a pool, small fitness room, and continental breakfast. Seating for breakfast can be difficult during the summer season. Parking can also be difficult, as the hotel seemingly shares lots with two other nearby hotels. Overall, the hotel is affordable and has a prime location.” Aug 5, 2005 by
Norbert from Fayetteville, NC
“The location is very good. Only 10 min to get to Bush Gardens or to the Outlet Mall. I can really recommend this hotel.” Aug 2, 2005 by
Kelly from Franklin, WI
“The best feature of this hotel was its deluxe and complimentary breakfast bar. There was an entire room devoted to guests' breakfast, and staff were on hand to replenish items. It is also very close to Colonial Williamsburg, and not far from Jamestown and Yorktown sites. We enjoyed our stay here.” Aug 2, 2005 by
Shannon from Centreville, VA
“Great, clean hotel in a great location close to everything in Williamsburg!” Jul 31, 2005 by
Rose from Fords, NJ
“It was safe, and very close to where we wanted to be. (Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg) I can't remember the girl's name who checked us in, but she was very helpful, offering us maps to the area and telling us where we might enjoy eating. The cleaning staff was clueless. They woke us up both mornings, even though we had our sign on the door to not disturb us. We had to tell them THREE times each day that we were not ready to have them clean our room! I don't think they understood English. There were no cups or glasses in the room. There was a coffee maker, but no cups! The first room we were given was a smoker's room, even though we requested non-smoking. But the front desk girl changed in immediately. The second room had standing water in the bathtub when we first came in. Very odd. But - all in all - we liked the hotel and the price we paid.” Jul 30, 2005 by
Jayne from Hilliard, OH
“Of the four hotels we experienced on our trip (2 - 3 stars), this was by far our favorite. Convenient location, happy decor, continental breakfast, on-site laundry facilities...we were very comfortable here.” Jul 29, 2005 by
Joyce from Falls Church, VA
“The entire building was immaculate and well-kept. The location was convenient to Williamsburg center, but a few miles from Busch Gardens, which was our destination. The staff was friendly and very helpful.” Jul 25, 2005 by
Diane from Tiffin, OH
“Overall was a nice hotel and the front desk was so accomidating.I was impressed with their breakfast they offered.” Jul 25, 2005 by
Conroy from Stafford, VA
“All-in-all a nice hotel, very near Colonial Williamsburg about 10 miles away from Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. The rooms and linen were clean and there was free wifi internet access. My only complaint about this hotel is that I had to park quite a bit away from the hotel which shares the parking lot with two other hotels.” Jul 18, 2005 by
Kelly from Clare, IA
“I loved the Farifield Inn. It was quite the bargain! I would stay there again in an instant. When checking in, they explained their high speed internet service without my asking and then asked if I needed a cable to use with my laptop. Often, hotels don't make this avaliable. Too often I've expected a hotel to have wireless, only to find out that it didn't, and been stuck with a wireless card and not ethernet cable, and no options at the front desk. This time I came prepared with both, but the offer of the cable was extremely nice. And the beds were amazing. My friend and I contemplated just repeatedly diving into them because they were so soft and squishy!” Jul 4, 2005 by
Chris from Albuquerque, NM
“Great location. Very friendly staff that accomodated all of our requested needs.” Jul 3, 2005 by
William from Rockingham, NC
“Very friendly staff, everyone had smiles. Pool area was great, could not get the jets to work in the jacuzzi. Location was excellent!” Jun 30, 2005 by
Joyce from Stockbridge, GA
“The hotel furnishings were nice and the hotel was clean. But the maids did not put the shampoos and tolietries in the bathroom, and as mentioned above the ice machine was not in the vending area as indicated by the sign. Also the pillows were too soft. But for the price I think it was fine and conveniently located.” Jun 30, 2005 by
Carla from Riner, VA
“Fabulous comfortable hotel located near all of the major attractions in Williamsburg. Delicous complimentary breakfast. After a long day exploring Williamsburg and its fine attractions melt away at the indoor pool or hotub. ” Jun 29, 2005 by
Michele from Clarksville, TN
“We had a great time in Williamsburg, the hotel staff was nice and helpful. The hotel itself was nice and clean. I would recommend it to anyone, if they were staying in Williamsburg.”
