• Crisp clean bedding clean hallways.
• Loud neighbors, hard time sleeping because of it, room service issues, and no food delivered at night.
  

“Overall I like Radisson hotels. We just had troubles because the walls are thin enough that every gleeful laughter of the neighboring room and those in the hallway kept us up in the night. So, in spite of the bad nights sleep and no food delivered at night like it was supposed to, the stay was ok.
”

• Great location.
• Hotel under renovation and a mess, trouble with elevator.

“Very disappointed in hotel, under renovation. First room was dirty and had to be moved. No computer service available. The day I left took me almost 25 minutes to get an elevator and had to use a service elevator to finally get out, had to return a rental car and catch a flight so experience very stressful to say the least.”

“A/C did not work properly. Parking was terrible; nothing close for handicap. We had to walk through Skyways and up/down ramps. We had to pay an extra $10/day to park!”

• Swimming pool was cold!

“The location is very convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful although somewhat harried due to a large convention. Management probably should of put additional personnel on. The swimming pool was cold and the sauna non functional.”

• Clean rooms, next to parking.
• Check in staff was not very friendly check out staff was nice I called from a hospital for a shuttle, waited 15 minutes, no answer.

• The people are very helpful and the beds are great!
• The room neighbors - I asked for help at 4 am and did not get it.

“The hotel itself is great, I have stayed many times. However this time our room neighbors were extremely loud and I called the front desk at 4 am and they said they would send up security but they never came. Otherwise the hotel was great!”

• Easy location, ramp parking convenient, use of skyways great for rainy days.
• Sleep number bed was not comfortable, think it would take a few nights to choose the right number.

• The sleep number bed was excellent.
• Hotel staff seemed standoffish.

“The hotel was a pleasant stay, but definitely not the quality one would expect of a 3-star hotel. Everything was clean, but it seemed that nothing has ever received a renovation; the hotel is a bit dated. There was no complementary breakfast items, even having some doughnuts available would have been a nice measure.”

• The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
• The room did not have darkening curtains - morning light and street lights shined in at all times.

“Great hotel - wonderful staff - great food - great service - I would recommend that they have better curtains on their windows. It was very hard to fall a sleep with a street light shining in and to try and sleep past 6:30am with the morning sun shining in.”

• Great location. The hotel was connected to skyways great if you wanted to go shopping or find restaurants without going outside.
• It met are expectations.

• The Metro restaurant.
• The lamp shade was torn/The light bulbs were 30watt. The hairdryer was burned looking. The ironing board cover was burned and stained.

“I have stayed in this hotel in the past and always swear never again. There is no way this is a 4-star! This has to be changed somehow! This was the last time! The lighting in the room was like a flea bag hotel. I asked for 1 light bulb 60-100 watt and they brought me the same that was already in the lamps. No resolve. I bought a bulb. Room Service # wrong in the book. 20mins of buzzy, I finally went to the restaurant to order food and it was empty. They did deliver and the food was excellent. I asked for directions to a building at The Mayo Clinic and the desk person didn't know! At this point I was on the floor! A guest overheard me and gave me directions. The good part is they forgot to charge me $13.00 a day for parking. The star level needs to be changed. The torn lamp shade was over the top!”

• Mold on the grout in the shower.

“Beautiful foyer, friendly staff, easy access to restaurants of all price ranges. Room was spacious with select comfort beds and free wireless internet access. We enjoyed our stay very much.”

• The whirlpool was a weird color and seemed unsanitary.

• Stylish rooms, very friendly staff.
• The sauna was not working; pool area was a bit dark and dreary.

“The hotel was very comfortable with stylish rooms. The bedding was clean and cozy (no crusty bedspreads). We loved the Sleep Number beds and the view of Downtown Rochester! On the downside, we were on the 8th floor but we were still able to hear a lot of the street noise. The sauna didn't work for us and the whole pool area was dark and dingy didn't match the rest of the hotel. All in all, would definitely stay here again.”

• Upgraded to plaza level and it was wonderful. Morning gal excellent.
• Seemed like I could hear voices out in the hall.

• Bed comfortable, computers available.
• No breakfast, excessive parking cost, not cozy.

“Although the rooms were nice, no breakfast or happy hour for those in rooms Under floor "10". How snobby is that! Also surprised with $10.-$13.00 parking fee per day. It added up to be quite a bit more than we wanted to pay. We were on 8th floor, large hotel with pool, exercise room, etc in basement. Did appreciate computer usage. Was connected to many tunnels and over passes making it easier to get around in the cold.”

• The metro bar/rest was nice, their happy hour was good.
• The bathroom was dirty and the pool area was full of ants.

“Nice hotel but a little outdated. Front desk staff, who happened to "manager on duty" was rather rude. Bartender at metro was entertaining; take advantage of happy hour they offer for guests.”

“Very nice facility, modern rooms, clean, very nice banquet facilities, part of the skyway in downtown Rochester. Room cost did not include a $10.00 per day parking fee for the city ramp. One of the nicer facilities in downtown Rochester.”

“We used to stay at another hotel property, but since we found the Radisson, this property will continue to service our hotel needs in Rochester. The beds/pillows are extremely comfortable--I especially like the down comforter and sleep number bed.”

“The hotel hallway noise and next door noise was probably the worst we've ever had. I wouldn't describe the hotel as a "family" hotel because of the late night noise we could hear. Unfortunately for the hotel some of their paying customers had partied too much Im assuming at one of the functions they were hosting and the rest of us had to put up with it when they got back to their rooms.”

“The room was clean and cozy. We especially liked the Sleep Number bed and the down comforter. I had a laptop, and our room had a large workspace and free high speed internet. We also ordered breakfast, which was hot, fresh and tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel.”

• Having to pay for my parking in a public lot.

“This hotel, in my opinion, is a 5 star in everyway except price. I would highly recommend it. It will be the hotel of choice for me next time I visit Rochester or the Mayo Clinic. Everything was of the highest quality from the comfort select bed to the friendly staff.”

• Right down town with skywalks so you don't have to go outside to go to stores or mayo clinic.
• Wasn't aware that you had to pay for parking. With the price is should be included.

• Mildew smell everywhere, it had rained the night before.

“Although the facilities were clean, the rainstorm from the previous night had soaked many of the floors leading to the lobby and garage, the smell of mildew was everywhere. It was somewhat unpleasant. The room itself was acceptable.”

• Staff friendly and helpful. Comfort bed and pillows luxurious.
• Carpet did not lay flat. We had to pay an extra $10.00 to park our car. Did not know there would be this extra charge.

“Excellent location. The skywalks are wonderful - great for walking to the Mayo Clinic. Very clean and great staff. The select comfort beds, bedding and pillows were so comfortable and luxurious. A great place to stay.”

• Had a very nice king size bed with sleep number system, and connected to the Maya clinic via the skyway.
• No wireless internet, had to pay separately for parking, shower head didn't work properly.

“The fact that it was connected to the Maya via the skyway made it a very pleasant place to stay while undergoing a battery of medical tests.”

• The skyway was ideal to get to appointments at mayo clinic.
• Parking was a bit overpriced.

“We were very pleased with the Radisson. The attached skyway made getting to our appointments at mayo clinic simple. The skyway also connected to a shopping center, which passed the time waiting for our next appointment. The sleep number beds were also a nice surprise.”

• The staff from the cleaning lady to the bell-men were very friendly and helpful! If we have to return to Mayo Clinic we will use the Radisson!
• Some of the older parts just were a little worn and looked dirty. Would have liked wi-fi in rooms not lobby only.

“If for no other reason people should feel free to stay at the Radisson because of the excellent staff. The cleaning lady put newer sheets on our bed because she thought it might help me. The bell-men were all helpful and very nice as were all the staff. If we have to return to Mayo clinic we will stay at the Radisson! (We stayed at two other places before and even though their pricing was a little less they were not as friendly!)”

• Lovely decor and nice size rooms with all conveniences.
• The sheets were worn out and the mattress mad kept coming off the bed. The restaurant ( metro )felt cold in atmosphere) .

• Great staff at check in & out. Friendly room maids. Great hot tub. Great exercise equipment.
• Terrible street noise all night. Pool to cold to use. Sauna didn't work at all. Parking is $8 per night extra not in price of room.

• The hot tub was great , the people friendly and we liked getting the USA Today paper.
• The catacombs to the Mayo Clinic were long and tiring, especially after a biopsy.

“We were not told that the parking cost was extra and there is a small box with red lights in it in the corner of the hotel room marked Colorado Optical, a bit unnerving.”
