• Weren't very interested in making their customer happy.

“I am very disappointed about this hotel. Our one bed's sheets weren't even changed. I crawled in not knowing this to crumbs and black hair. It was disgusting! The breakfast area wasn't too clean either. I'm really upset that the management there didn't even try to make up for the room and such. To me, you do whatever it takes to make sure your customers are happy no matter what. They didn't. Won't every stay there again!”

• Convenience to my location needs.
• Shower knob needs fixing.

“Comfortable and convenient. Decent continental breakfast. The bad news was, they gave me a key for a room that was already occupied, and I walked in on a couple. It was embarrassing for both parties, and the worker at the front desk didn't have much to say about it when I returned to get a different room.”

• The booked room had a foul sickly odor.
• Something is drastically wrong.

“I believe someone died in the room I was first given, and they could not cover up the sickly smell. The next room I was given, had the same smell, only to a much lesser degree.”

• The staff was fantastic, the room was clean and the continental breakfast was great. We would definitely go back because of staff.
• The hot tub was not clean.

• Friendly Staff.
• I think it was very much over priced for the quality.

“The hotel was over priced. I would expect a much better quality hotel. Just the week before I stayed at an Embassy Suite a night in Deerfield, IL. 3 time better quality, room size and service.”

• The hotel was clean and attentive staff. The breakfast selection was great.
• Nothing.

“This hotel was a perfect fit for me. I felt safe and the breakfast was great. The only thing I didn't like was the decor and probably because I am not into country but it was great value for the price I paid.”

• Good beds, great shower.
• No fridge in room.

“Friendly, clean, good breakfast, hot shower with great pressure, nice and comfortable mattresses. The room had a "homey" feeling. Not as institutional as some. Very convenient location. We were very pleased during our stay.”

• Appeared to be very clean and staff were friendly.
• The breakfast on our second day there was not what it was the day before. What food they had was great but did not have waffles.

“The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly but did not stand up to what was to be on the breakfast menu. There had not been a lot of people at breakfast before we were there and should not have run out of anything or whatever the reasoning was.”

• Handy to mayo clinic, wonderful shuttle service.
• We were happy with our stay.

• A reasonable price in an area that we needed to be in.
• Under staffed in the reception area - waiting to check in as the phone rang constantly and only one person.

“It was a clean and quiet and close to the freeway with restaurants nearby. Would stay again.”

“This was a great deal. We needed a later checkout time and they were very willing to accommodate us. It was so nice to have the complimentary breakfast. The complimentary cookies, coffee, hot cocoa and USA Today were appreciated as well. The staff was very kind to our 15 month old and we had a lot of fun swimming in the pool. Clean, friendly, a great stay for us.”

• Objected to smoking room, they placed me at competing hotel with non smoking room.
• Smoking room.

• Very clean.
• Room smelled terrible. Kids were making noise in the hallways all night.

“Room smelled terrible, they really need to put air fresheners or something else in there to get rid of the smoke smell, had to sleep with the window open all night. Other hotels in the area are much better at the same price.”

• We liked the convenience of the location with an excellent dinner buffet next door. All accommodations were great.
• There was nothing that we disliked.

“This was a very neat clean hotel. A convenient elevator for senior citizens was very much appreciated. The breakfast room was large enough to accommodate a nice group. They served both a hot and cold breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.”

• The rooms were comparable to Courtyard By Marriott, but cost lots less.
• That I couldn't have stayed longer!

“I loved the hotel: the staff was great, the room was decorated beautifully and was clean and comfortable. What I appreciated especially was that -- because of a delay in my appointments at the Mayo Clinic -- I was unable to get checked out until more than 2 hours PAST the checkout time and they didn't charge me any extra!!”

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rochester. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is huge! The bars and the seat in the tub were so useful! This has been one of the better hotels that we have stayed in.”

• Easily accessed from the main highway. Offered a good breakfast.
• They 'surprised' me with a billing placed under the room door. They realized their mistake.

“Attractive appearance;comfortable and ample rooms. TV's were easy to operate with good instructions offered. It was very quiet during sleeping hours; pleasant surroundings.”

“County Inn and Suites Rochester is a nice, new, clean hotel. The lobby is attractive and inviting, and they allowed us to use their breakfast room for our family reunion.”
