• We were very pleasantly surprised - very quiet.

“It appears that the hotel was recently renovated - very nice, comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was an internet ready computer by the front desk that helped us find specific locations within the area. The breakfast was reasonable for a continental breakfast - the kids loved the option to have fresh waffles!”

• The Country Inn flavor of the hotel layout and decor was charming.
• The business center was actually within the hotel staff's area, which made me uncomfortable about checking e-mail.

“Excellent experience. Breakfast choices were good, staff was at the ready and eager to assist. Everything was clean and the needs of the guest were uppermost in their minds- down to a library of books, of a wide range of age and interest levels, available to take to your room during your stay!”

• From the greeting at the check in desk to the thank you and good bye the staff was excellent.
• No elevators.

“The room was elegant yet comfortable; clean yet not sterile. The microwave and refrigerator were spotless. It was very nice and very quiet. I would give it a very good rating.”

• It was clean, very comfortable, and had a homey feeling to it.
• The pool was way to cold.

“We loved this hotel. The whole hotel had a very comfortable feel to it. The beds were comfortable. The lobby was welcoming (cookies, books, games and a fireplace). The breakfast had a nice variety. Everything was clean and the staff was courteous.”

• Location convenient to the interstate. Room was very clean and comfortable.
• There was a slight unpleasant odor. Maybe from the pool?

“The Kearney Country Inn and Suites met our needs perfectly for this stay. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful, as was the morning breakfast staff. The complimentary breakfast provided several choices and was very adequate.”

• I really appreciate sleeping well, so the pillow top mattress, soft, quality cotton sheets and huge smushy pillows were awesome.
• The location is convenient, if not attractive.

“This is a really nice hotel with very easy interstate access. I found it quiet, with an attractive interior and quality sleeping beds and linens. The rooms are furnished with rustic hand-hewn cedar look furnishings and rich, natural colors. A variety of novels for adults and children are available in the cozy lobby, as are board games. The young man who was managing the evening of our stay was accommodating when I discovered I'd forgotten my stupid toothbrush. First time ever, I swear it! And he acted appropriately when a tornado warning was called for our area. He knocked on our doors and directed everyone to an inner hallway on the lowest floor.”

• Had cookies at the desk during the day, nice touch. Breakfast was excellent!
• Room with two queen beds seemed crowded (lacked being spacious).

“Nice folks meet you. Generally very nice motel, rooms adequate, wireless internet easy to use. Possibly a small step above a Comfort or Sleep Inn. The breakfast was much better than most. Lots of choices and very good.”

• Didnt get a copy of the bill, staff to busy to talk.

“Nice place- even though there was a wrestling completion in town and the place was full of kids, it was still quiet. We never did get an itemized bill, and when I checked out the people at the desk were too busy to talk to me, so I couldn't ask for one.”

“This was a great find! Obviously it is Kearney Nebraska so don't expect a five star hotel. However, the hotel is right off I-80 and was extremely clean. The rooms were very cute and the free breakfast was nice as well. I am sure it is the best hotel in Kearney. Highly recommended!”

• The large room - we had a suite.
• They were doing construction so the room was not complete.

“They are in the process of updating and there were some noticeable incomplete updates in the room, however, the hotel is nice and great place to stay. I would stay again.”

• Very pleasant, friendly, helpful personnel.
• Bathrooms were clean but need remodeling (caulking repairs sloppy).

“Stayed at hotel during a state-wide high school competition (over 1000 teens in town, including many at this hotel) hotel placed us (husband & I) on top floor, corner room--best possible location to avoid noise potential with teen neighbors-had no problems with excess noise. Breakfast buffet was good, with breakfast room kept clean & food continuously re-stocked with good selection (with all the teens, we were sure room would be a mess and food would soon be gone but hotel handled the crowd well.).”

• Warm inviting indoor pool and hot tub.
• Noisy hallway.

“This was an unexpected treasure in America's Heartland. The room was freshly painted. The lobby fireplace was warm and inviting and the pool area was warm, clean and extraordinary. The free breakfast was more than adequate. Parking was convenient and the hotel elevator made things easy for my wife who suffers from MS. All in all, this is an outstanding roadside hotel and we will plan to stay there again in the future.”

• Great location.

“The hotel is fine, great location and well maintained. Lawn care going on under our window at AM on a Saturday morning. I clearly heard a lawn mower or weed-eater going outside our window, very early on a weekend morning. I find it hard to believe that that is the optimum time for such work to be done. It woke me up, and made it difficult to get back to sleep.”

• people screaming through the halls all night because they had rented out 15 rooms for a wedding

“We go to a motel to sleep. I don't think it's fair to rent blocks of rooms (15) for a wedding and expect that guests that need to get up and drive 750 miles will get the sleep they are paying for. This is really the responsibility of the motel.”

• Excellent continental breakfast. Staff more than willing to help.

“I didn't expect it to be as nice as it was. We recently stayed at the Claritan in Omaha. I expected that to be nice, and always thought of it as a little higher quality. The Country Inn and Suites surpasses the Claritan by far.”

“This hotel was conveniently located, nicely decorated with decent sized bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was more than just a "continental" breakfast. Staff was very helpful and cheerful.”

• The staff was extremely helpful. I forgot a couple of items and they had them there for me. The continental breakfast was wonderful!

“Maumee, Ohio = Would NEVER go back. Room was not cleaned, NO toilet paper, dust all over, tables dirty, floor in bath sticky!!! Were installing carpeting outside our room on SUNDAY!!! - come on - could not get in or out of room while THIS was going on.”

“We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in Kearney, NE. We have stayed here before and it is very clean and well kept, an attractive hotel. The only complaint I have is that we stayed 2 nights and our room was not cleaned after the first night. We did leave the room a little late but we thought someone would have still cleaned it.”

“Country Inn and Suites in Kearney, Nebraska is a place at which you will feel at home. I was overwhelmed by the helpfulness of the staff and the cleanliness of the inn. The complimentary breakfast had an abundance of choices and was bountiful. Rest assured you will have gotten more than your money's worth!”
