- The bed was very comfortable.
- Small bathroom and no blow dryer in bathroom.
“Bonnie was very helpful upon check in. There was a party going on downstairs. With loud music,but I did not hear any of that in my room which was good. The trash can in my room was not emptied just over looked. The bathroom was very small with no blow dryer, but it was clean. The room was a little tight...but I did like the fact that there was a balcony as my friend smokes and he could step outside on the balcony to smoke and not have to leave the room. If you are just looking for a modern place to sleep that is comfortable and clean this is it.”

- Close to the airport.
- Too close to interstate, noisy, dirty.
“The sheets wouldn't stay on the squeaky, lumpy mattress and there were numerous cigarette burns in the bedspread, even though this is a 100% smoke-free hotel. The front desk staff was nice, friendly, but they can't help how nasty the room was. The carpet had multiple stains, the bathroom had tons of mold and mildew in the shower. Everything just felt nasty. I was traveling with my kids and I wouldn't let them walk around on the carpet without shoes. The door did not want to shut properly.”

- Comfortable beds and nice atmosphere.
- Noisy neighbors. I was too close to the elevator and people slammed their doors too hard, shook the whole room.
“The hotel itself, is great. The staff was great but the people who stayed there were not. I went during Mardi Gras. So I guess that contributed to all the noise from people getting off the elevators and the intoxicated people slamming their room doors all night.”

- Decent lounge and restaurant.
- Dirty floors, inefficient toilet.
“Nice place. However, the floors in the rooms need vacuuming and cleaning. Also, areas in front of the elevators had loose dirt that was not cleaned for a couple days. Many hotels seem to be lax in cleaning floors these days.”

- The shuttle to the airport was very convenient, and the room was nice.
- I was disappointed that the hot tub was closed when I was at the hotel. I went to a concert and by the time I got back, it was closed and locked.
“The hotel was conveniently located right off the interstate and close to the airport. The staff at the front desk was nice. The room was clean and attractive. The only problem was that the hot tub closes too early! The shuttle service to the airport saved me money on a cab.”

“Great value for the price. I checked in my room and the door would not lock behind me. Maintenance was called and when they could not fix the staff placed me in another room and offered meal vouchers for the inconvenience. Hotel is in need of a remodel, but it's a good value for the money.”

- Nice appearance, good location.
- Air conditioning defective, unable to sleep.
“This hotel appears to be nice, and the staff was very pleasant. However, our sole reason for staying here was for the convenience of being near the airport for an early morning flight. Unfortunately, due to a malfunctioning air conditioning unit (it was half out of the wall), we were unable to sleep well and in the morning, our wake-up call did not take place. We had reserved a spot on the airport shuttle and it left without us despite the fact that we were only 2 minutes late (due to the missing wake up call). Thankfully the hotel arranged for the shuttle to take us to the airport as soon as it returned, but we were still later than we should have been to check in to our flight.”

- Nice work area in room.
- A/C in room and hallway corridor wasn't working.
“I was checked into a room on the 10th floor. The entire hallway on this floor was hot. The AC was not operating very well. Upon entering my room, it was even hotter than the hallway. I had service come up and check it out. After 1.5 hours it still wasn't cooling the room. So, I had to change rooms. Staff was accommodating, however, it was still a major inconvenience.”

“One of the worst nights in a hotel in 25 years. The fire alarm went on 4 times in the middle of night, had 250 Soccer player in hotel for tourney, restaurant closed for breakfast for private function. Bad experience!”

- I liked the location. It was in a good area surrounded by restaurants and shopping centers.
- The hotel room was not very clean and the carpet had a lot of stains and slight smell. Walls & ceilings looked damaged - not sure if because of hurricane.
“I was a little disappointed with this being rated a 3 star hotel. The room did not look very clean and the walls, ceilings looked crumpy. The carpet also had a lot of stains and a slight odor. However, the fitness center was nice and the hotel is located in a good area for shopping and eating out. There are a lot of restaurants to go to and it is not far from the French Quarters and other attraction areas.”

- I liked the comfort ness of the bed and pillows, very cozy.
- I didn't like the bathroom, it wasn't very clean and the tub stopped up when showering.
“I think my experience at this hotel was okay. The hotel is not a new hotel, but I think for the most part, the up keep was okay. I liked the comfort ness of the bed, I felt like I was sleeping in my bed. I did not like that the bathroom was not very clean, nor was the carpet. I would rate this hotel a 2.5 star instead of a 3 star.”

- I liked the free wireless connection and the free printing. The location was convenient to the airport and the interstate.
- The air-conditioning was loud and difficult to modulate. I was either hot if I turned it off, or cold if I turned it on.
“This hotel is a great price. It was conveniently located near the airport and other shopping. Access to the interstate was convenient as well and it is very easy to get to the city. The rooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel in general was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will try to stay there when I come back to New Orleans.”

- I didn't change hotels because it was convenient.
- The room carpet was dirty & hallways were dingy not a 3 star location.
“The hotel needs to be painted and rooms upgraded before it can be listed as a 3 star hotel. In its current condition it is a 1-1/2 or 2 star at the most. I could tell it used to be better, the elevators were VERY slow and at least one was always not working. My room key stopped working several times. The room was clean but dingy with stained carpet and trash on the balcony.”

- The staff was the greatest. It was my husbands birthday and they gave him a card and cookies.
- The room needed a little cosmetic work but for the most part it was nice.
“If I had to stay again I would stay here. It is a great hotel with great staff. It is close to the I-10 and the staff will point you in the right direction. The hotel is near local people so the restaurants don't cost as much as in the French Quarter.”

“On arrival was told that there were no rooms available. They put us up at another Sheraton. Was told to come back next day to get room after 12:00 noon. Arrived at 1:00 and was told to come back after 3:00. Had to get manager on phone to get room. Room had ceiling paint peeling, falling on floor and toilet leaked on floor.”

“This is an older hotel and has a bit of an odor of mildew in the lobby area. The floors on the first floor were slanted, giving an impression of a lesser quality. The staff, although friendly, did not follow through with completing requested tasks even after multiple calls. The room was clean, neat, but small for a king sized bed. Due the price, this hotel is acceptable. However, will not seek it out on a return trip to New Orleans.”

- It was close to the airport, they have shuttle service.
- Noisy.
“This hotel looks as if it went through a recent remodel, however many of the finishing touches were not done. The air conditioner was only partially installed I could see day-light around the edges which most likely let a lot of the road noise in the room. The pop-corn ceiling was scary to look at; with old pieces ready to fall off.”

However, when he had to wait 45 minutes for the shuttle they promised in five and we had to send out food back because it was burnt, we got frustrated. The final straw when we were checking out at 6:30am, the elevators broke. Lucky we were on the 2nd floor.”

- The bed was quite comfortable, quiet room despite nearby freeway.
- Not enough parking with "Latin Night" on Saturday. Almost didn't get a spot. Noisy all night in parking lot with yelling and honking.
“First impression was good with nice looking lobby and restaurant/bar area. But rugs in hallways looked old and worn. Room was small but bed was quite comfortable. Pillow cases were see through because they were so badly worn out that was a bit disgusting, as was hair on the floor in the bathroom. Shower had good water pressure. Warned that "Latin night" would take place on Saturday and that there might not be enough parking. Never heard of a party going from 11 pm till 4 am. We got back to the hotel by 8 pm but could barely find a spot. Thank heaven we didn't hear the party, but between 2-4 am, there was lots of noise in the parking lot below with honking and yelling. The next morning, the lot was practically empty. Seems crazy that they wouldn't make sure the guests had reserved spots first.”

- It was dirty, extremely unpleasant odor throughout like dead fish.
“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It does not meet the standards of a typical Sheraton.”

- Recently renovated rooms were much improved over my last stay at this hotel.
- Very slow elevators.
