• The staff in every department could not been more freindly or helpful.
• We had no complaints .

“The staff at the front desk,dinning room,and the chamber maids were the most freindly and helpful that we have ever had ,also the people at the gate who took our tickets and always wished us to have a great day.”

• They had popcorn in the evening and newspapers for the guests.
• Housekeeping was inconsistent replenishing the supplies.

“The hotel was very very clean, but lacked pizzazz. The bed was sinking in the middle, and there was no refrigerator or makeup mirror in the room. You expect those in a 4-star hotel.”

• Nice shower.
• AC cycle was either too warm or cool.

“Decent hotel, but squarely in the 2.5 star range - nothing about it was upscale -small rooms, tiny (though serviceable) bathrooms and a not very elegant entrance/lobby.”

• Close to airport and shopping, clean, comfortable.
• Soundproofing between the rooms was severely lacking.

“For a hotel so close to the airport (it is overlooking the tarmac), you barely hear any planes. The rooms are really barely soundproofed between one another, though, which allows for complete conversations to be overheard, as well as peoples' cell phone ringing in the middle of the night.”

• It was clean!
• The check in clerk told me it was free parking, but forgot to tell me to valid the parking pass for it to be free.

“The hotel has a whole was great! Check in clerk needed to be more clear on the parking issue. Nice size rooms! Very comfortable.”

• Nothing, will not return.
• Water pressure in shower was horrendous, under construction, bathroom small/vanity area.

“Hotel was under construction. Elevator door did not work properly. Two double beds in the room, which was not acceptable--i.e. king or queen. Water pressure in the shower was awful---hardly any pressure! The staff was friendly, but that is it with this hotel. I would not recommend.”

• They were in the middle of renovations and parking is kind of
  far from the lobby.

• Room was nice, clerk in lobby was friendly.
• No dining choices within walking distance.

“Hotel is undergoing a lot of remodeling and dining room was closed. Apart from a fast food spot in adjoining airport, there was no place to go to eat. I felt isolated in my room because there was no lounge or anywhere that I could go to be with people. I was by myself and didn't have a car so my options were very limited. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Desk clerk in lobby was very nice. No reading lights near beds, though which I thought was odd. Only had reading light on desk. However, it was very convenient for me to catch my 6 a.m. flight.”

• Bottled water available plus fresh sheets and lots of pillows.
• We were a bit frightened, plus used newspaper and plastic bag of popcorn on bed and ironing board/iron left out!

“If it was not under construction we think we would have liked it much better. The room itself was great, except for the items left out on bed, such as used newspaper and bag of popcorn and ironing board/iron left open and out. Nice pillows and sheets. Slept good.”

• The lobby is very attractive. The beds are both attractive and comfortable.
• Bathroom too small.

“It is attached to the airport so that you don't have to go out into the weather to get back and forth. The staff was very accommodating and the room was very comfortable. It has a very nice restaurant.”

• Leaving the building.
• I would not let my dog stay there.

“Do not stay at this hotel. It is filthy, our room smelled like urine, had flies, mold in bathroom, rugs are stained and worn out and wrinkled. The bed is like sleeping in a sinkhole (I am 200 lbs. not 400 lbs); the TV remote did not work, even after it was fixed. I was on vacation taking a tour of Bar Harbor and Bangor area; I was so disgusted I went home early. Come on Sheraton people, clean this place up!”

• The hotel is literally right across the street from the baggage claim of the airport.
• Noisy, being right on the airport grounds; old and tired property.

“Flying in late and too tired to navigate a new city, this is the hotel for you -- literally right out the baggage claim door and across the street -- no rental car or shuttle needed. Other than that, nothing really good to say about this property. I had a wonderful view of tarmac and runways. Great sounds of aircraft. A great hotel if you're a pilot. Desperately needs a refurbishment outside and in.”

• Completely refurbished in 2005. Everything was new and very clean.
• I found it very frustrating that you could not open the windows. It was hard to control the temperature.

“The hotel exceeded my expectations in quality and cleanliness. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was just okay. I had the steak tips and they did not taste very good. My wife had the salmon and that was okay. The salads seemed to be prepared way in advance and kept in the refrigerator. It was very quiet even being right at the airport. No plane noise. Overall, I would stay there again. ”

“Best business hotel in Bangor (not saying much with that fact), but with the exception of the shower not working it beats every other hotel especially the Ramada.”

• Best in Bangor

“I have to travel to Bangor monthly on business and at first tried the other hotels. The one I keep coming back to is the Four Points by Sheraton Bangor Airport.From the Front Desk staff to the restaurant staff in the Wright Bros. American Grill -- everyone is so friendly and has come to treat my as family. This is so important when you are away from home as much as I am.They just recently renovated all their sleeping rooms and have the new Four Comfort Bed. If only I could have one of those beds at home!The food in the Wright Bros. is the best I've had in Bangor, and believe me, I've tried ALL of the restaurants in town.You couldn't ask for a better place to stay as a home away from home.Keep up the good work!”

• Lobby had pitchers of cold water in lobby
• Dirty! Glasses in room had been used, entrance from street filthy, fixtures in bathroom broken...on & on!

“This hotel was easy to find,noise sound from airport was nil, staff was friendly enough, and room decorations were lovely ...but it was so dirty everywhere! Did not live up to the Westin/Sheratin name at all!”
