• The continental breakfast was excellent.
• Not enough working washers and dryers, the janitorial staff did not clean room thoroughly.

“Good location, great breakfast, first room I moved into had dirty sheets. Second room was clean at the outset, but staff failed to empty coffee pot twice and didn't empty all of the trash cans. Also, we were short of toilet paper. Dryer worked poorly and times for cycles were not posted so you have to continuously check to see if your load is finished which is a double pain if the laundry isn't on the floor you are staying on.”

• The housekeeper did an excellent job in making up our room every day. Good attention to detail.
• Cups on the floor were picked up. Employee pulled out clean cups put them with the dirty cups and taken to storage room. Not sure if thrown away.

“Staff was very friendly. The room was made up very nice every day. Towels were being folded at front desk and I question the cleanliness of doing that. Some cups that fell on the floor were taken to a storage room and mixed with clean cups and Im concerned that rather then throwing them away they were put on a shelf for later use.”

• The pool has a slide, and continental breakfast was good.
• The rooms were very plain.

• Very accessible from the interstate, quick check in. Good pillows and never ran out of food for breakfast.
• Had trouble with the door cards.

• It was a very friendly and attractive place.
• Bed could have been firmer.

“This is a very attractive hotel in a good location. The room was comfortable and the staff could not have been friendlier. Also nice was that there was a very nice TGI Fridays, with an unusually spacious bar, on the property. All in all a very good 2 and a half star experience.”

• Friendly staff, excellent continental breakfast, clean, pool open until midnight.
• Everything was great.

“Easy access off the interstate, close to mall and many nice places to eat. Rooms were large and clean. Beds were comfortable. Waterslide, pool, and hot tub were fun. Staff was friendly and efficient. Parking was ample. We would stay there again.”

• It has a kitchenette, a clean/good bed and TV.
• It's a little hard to find of the I-80.

“Friendly people, clean room, good bed, laundry facilities. Although we were there only one night. It is well suited for a longer stay. Parking is close in.”

• The workout facility is poor.

“I think this is probably one of the best hotels that I observed while in rapid city. The hotel is like new and all the others around it look like roach coach motels.”

• I was very impressed with the service and the spacious rooms. The rooms are in great condition. The service was excellent.
• There was a noise outside of the window caused by the wind.

• Pool area and water slide were excellent. 2 hot tubs CLEAN!
• Could use a bigger room for Continental Breakfast. Crowded.

“Staff was helpful and cheerful. Room was spotless. Pool area was clean and comfortable. 2 hot-tubs which is nice when mixing adults and children. Quiet comfortable rooms and great selection on Continental Breakfast bar. Ample parking and convenient location close to Mall and Star bucks (my favorite). Thanks for a great stay!”

• The nice long counter in bath room, nice chair with a lamp close by.
• Breakfast room to small, not open long enough.

• We enjoyed the breakfast and swimming pool.
• The tables in the breakfast room were not always clean.

“I really liked it and would love to stay again. Unfortunately the water slide was not practical for smaller children as the depth at the end was 6 ft. The breakfast was unlike another complimentary breakfast I have ever had and was very good. The room was also very clean and the staff extremely helpful.”

• The breakfast featured several delicious selections.
• The pool seemed to have a little too much chlorine as my eyes burned even when sitting on the deck.

“The rooms were attractive and very clean. The pool was of good size with a fun waterslide for kids. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful.”

• It was a good location and good value with a big room.
• The elevator was slow and the stairway wasn't an option.

“We had a busy schedule so didn't spend a whole lot of time in the hotel. The kids liked the pool though and the internet access in the lobby. The breakfast was nice, both for the food and meeting the other guests.”

• The Inn was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast very much.
• The heat register made noise all night.

“We enjoyed our stay at the inn and I was impressed with the value. The in house cafeteria was clean and well stocked and all the staff was friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the pool and the hot tub area. The location was convenient and easy to find.”

• The location to shopping, the friendly staff, cleanliness, and continental breakfast.
• It could have more parking spaces.

“This hotel is located close to the mall and major shopping areas, movie theaters, and good restaurants. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the continental breakfast is superb. We'll definateley stay at Country Inn & Suites in Rapid City again!”

• The employees were very kind. The hotel was very quiet- could not hear any noise.

“We were very satisfied with the hotel, everyone was very friendly & helpful. We especially liked the fact that there was a guest laundry and the breakfast was fantastic... We were expecting rolls, juice & coffee so that was extra nice. Our grandsons liked the pool & the slide & we really enjoyed the hot tubs. The only thing that I wish we could have had the choice of smoking or non smoking rooms. We were in a smoking room & I was kind of worried about it because of allergies we have but we were really amazed that there was not too much of a smoke odor.”

“The location and ease of getting to the hotel was great. The staff was courteous and efficient. The only thing that I didn't like was the congested breakfast room. Omitting the waffles, might be a way to speed up the breakfast, limiting the time spent fixing breakfast.”
