• Hotel is clean and comfortable. Second time with Priceline at this hotel. Very happy.
• Heater ran all of the time, annoying!

• Next to railroad tracks. But not many trains.

• Provided nice amenities.
• The carpet in the hallways was coming up at the seams all over the hotel. Need to update that area.

“Nice hotel. Housekeeping adjusted my room temp which upset me and did not restock the room properly. Management should tell housekeeping, that when you have a guest spending multiple nights, to leave their hands off certain items in the room. Next time, I will just request housekeeping to replace towels and leave it at that.”

• Comfortable hotel close to nice restaurants and on the road to Rushmore!
• The sleep number beds were not really all that comfortable, but fun to try out!

• Popcorn ceilings, train whistle noise.

“Pleasant desk staff, nice beds and linens, good bathroom decor. Parts of the bathroom and ceiling need updating. Reliable high-speed internet access. Somewhat busy street intersection, but there is a convenient parking lot. Within short drive of many food and entertainment options in town.”

• Downtown-neighborhood; traffic noise.

“The motel was very nice and clean and kept up to date. It had nice extras like the artwork. The staff was nice and helpful. The restaurant looked nice, but we didn't take a chance to eat there. The prices looked high. We were a little sad they didn't have a continental breakfast. The star bucks were nothing to it. The woman working that was rude and uninformed-could not make me a typical star buck's cappuccino short. Had a nice pool, although nothing special. But it was clean. The location was near some clubs and things to do, and was easy to get around. But there were some rundown places nearby, and the traffic noise kept us awake some. The sleep number beds were nice, better than some of the hard beds you get in hotels.”

“We thought it was an excellent value, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was a convenient "jumping off point" for visiting mount Rushmore, crazy horse mountain, deadwood, and all the attractions and parks in the region.”

• Liked the bedding and that it could all be changed, felt clean.
• We were unable to get a room with a king size bed and had to settle for 2 double beds.

“I was nearly finished with the meal before the waiter stopped to ask if our food was ok. Also, for the prices charged, the food was not very good, mediocre at best. I would not recommend eating in this restaurant at all.”

• This hotel was extremely clean & loved the down linens!

“Expect a clean, comfortable stay in the heart of Rapid City. The restaurant is modern and the food quite good. Starbucks coffee and a wide variety of local wines were available in the gift shop. I thought the staff was extremely helpful and will stay here again!”

• We thought someone was partying in a room below us because it was loud and it was a bar next door to the motel.

• No parking-limited access to lobby and rooms.

“Good price very clean would pay the same price every time I go to rapid city parking was limited to one area because hotel is located on a corner --lobby could only be accessed from the street and only one door way to lobby.”

• Location to both the office and the general downtown area was great.
• The train track is right next to the hotel and the tracks are active.

“The hotel, generally speaking was very nice. I didn't care for the plastic (fake wood) doors on the bathroom it took away from the quality of the hotel and the room. As a business traveler the hotel was perfectly situated to my office and the downtown area. Great location. However, the train was a bit disconcerting!
While I was traveling on business, I did bring part of my family with me. The hotel staff treated them with the utmost of courtesy and graciousness! It was a great experience for them and I was grateful for the courtesy displayed by the staff. Overall I would stay at the Raddison again and I would recommend it to my co-workers.”

• Shower head broke - replaced with low flow unit.

“The hotel was quiet and very clean. The staff was very informative about sites to see. The rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. Great hotel we would stay here again.”

• It was easy to find and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. The mattresses were very good.
• We did not feel this hotel met the 3 star quality that we had previously experienced.

“We were dissapointed in this hotel. It was the only one listed as 3 star in this area, so we felt we were getting the best. However, the rooms were small without refrigerators. The pool was OK but not great and the front desk staff didn't seem particularly knowledgable about the area.”

• The Enigma Restaurant was terrible. Poor service and bad attitude.

“We liked our room and the general location very much. The desk staff was very helpful and helped us make arrangements for tours, etc.The Staff in the hotel restaurant are slow and those in charge are rather haughty with the customers. For the price of the meal and the image they try to project--they are very inadequate and not up to the standard of that type of hotel. The lobby was rather sparsely furnished and not warm or inviting.”

“Central location to the eastern Black Hills. Convient to Mount Rushmore in particular and Keystone area and well as to I-90 if you are continuing on into the western Black Hills also failrly convenient to the Custer State Park and Needles drive. We were able to take in Custer wildlife loop, Mount Rushmore daytrip and lighting ceremony and Keystone Gutzon Borglum Museum areas in one day from this location.”
