• Front desk managers were not friendly when it came to a certain subject.

“It didn't smell fresh,overall if push came to shove I would stay there again.”

• Very easy access to the freeway.
• Stairs.

“Decent room for the money and it has adequate parking for large vehicles (rental truck) with very easy access from I-20.”

• Staff did not clean room even after asked to do so.

“Hotel smelled old and paint fumes were everywhere. Also we stayed 2 nights and had to ask front desk to have room cleaned. Staff still did not clean room even after asked to do so.”

• Nice for the price.
• Unfriendly front desk. After being gone shopping & sightseeing for the day, room was not cleaned and room cards had been deactivated.

“It's good for the price. Don't expect any frills. It's clean (when you get there. They forgot to clean our room while we were out for the day.”

• It was recently updated (fresh paint, etc.) Very friendly staff.
• On the edge of a very bad neighborhood.

“While this hotel was by no means a luxury hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by it's friendly staff and the fact that it has been recently updated. We had a TV with cable, a refrigerator, blow dryer, coffee maker with coffee(s) and creamer. It is right off the highway and only five or six miles from the casinos. It's not in a good neighborhood, but they have gone to great lengths to make it a safe and attractive place. We would definitely stay again.”

• Fridge in room.
• Old features in room. Not a good environment/location.

“It was overly crowded, loud, obnoxious patrons. Not in a good part of town, minimum if any security. Overpriced for the old furnishings in the room. I would not stay here again.”

• The location was very convenient to the Shreveport area.
• No complaints.

“Overall this hotel was just what I needed. I was in town for a cycling race. I was no more than ten miles from each event. The staff was very helpful and friendly.”

• Halls had a bad smell, hotel in bad part of town.

• Front desk staff very pleasant.
• Not secure.

“Shreveport is not a safe city. As a result, when I approached my otherwise "remotely located room" the exterior door was standing open. Unlocked.”

• Hotel Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
• The pull out bed (couch) was horrible to sleep on!!

“The couch had a big rip on the arm with the insides of it coming out. The cushions had holes in the material. There was no remote control for one of the TVs.”

• Easy access to interstate.
• Mattress was very hard and maids were noisy in the mornings.

“Great value. Minor changes could greatly improve the stay such as softer mattresses and having the maids not vacuum the hallways early in the mornings. Also, the maids kept knocking on our door to see if they could come in to clean it. This is the first time that maids have ever inconvenienced us in that way. Other hotels have better maid service and wait till at least mid-morning to vacuum the halls or wait till we check out before they try to come in and clean. We did like the express check out and the shower a lot.”
