“The room smelled of smoke, we immediately told the front desk, they said the hotel was filled and the only thing they could do was come in and spray air freshener! wow! that was nice of them!! BFD so we had to go to the store and buy candles and air freshener and burn them and spray and keep our windows opened all the time so it could air out.” Oct 14, 2009 by
Dawna from Fort Worth,TX
“Everything was fine.” Sep 21, 2009 by
David from Richmond,IN
“Hotel is great for business travelers, easy in and out. Next to interstate and out of town felt safe.” Sep 19, 2009 by
Linda from Collins Center,NY
“Staff was great, they make you feel like part of the family. If it would have had smoking rooms, it would have been near perfect. But, I feel this is no more than a 2 1/2 star establishment.” Sep 7, 2009 by
Barbara from Corning,NY
“We were only looking for a place to crash, it was about 6:40 pm on a weeknight and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they were offering free nachos and tacos in the lounge. We had planned to go out for supper and didn't need to. Glad I got supper with my room because the continental breakfast was coffee and sweet rolls and cold cereal. The stay was great, the staff was very nice, the room was pleasant, the area seemed fine.” Sep 2, 2009 by
Pat from Salisbury,MD
“Although the staff was very friendly the hotel was very dated. I turned on the hair dryer and smoke and sparks came pouring out. The smoke filled the entire room. Maintence did come right away and replaced with new. Sunday morning we had no hot water. We just packed up and left. Did not live up to the normal 3 star hotels I have booked in the past.” Aug 23, 2009 by
Marian from So. Charleston,WV
“It was fine. The staff made up for the star rating.” Jul 18, 2009 by
Fred from Largo,FL
“The bathroom was small as was the room.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Glenn from Lawrenceville, NJ
“Standard 2 star hotel, staff is friendly and location is nice. The breakfast was awful and we did not try lunch or dinner at the hotel. There are other (very good) places in the area.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Jay from St Clairsville, OH
“My room was comfortable and compact. The hotel staff placed me far away from the karaoke bar, which was good. The carpeting in the hall needs replaced soon.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Charles from Roanoke, VA
“We were traveling with our young son and needed to break up our trip and stop over for the night about 250 miles from home. Although the common areas are worn and dated, the rooms are nice and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is included with the room stay. It is not great but with a young kid, we were able to get some cereal/eggs/milk into him while we were there rather than driving somewhere else. This place would be perfect if they had mini fridges in the room.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Sita from Gales Ferry, CT
“The location of this hotel was good. The room was old and not well maintained. The air conditioning did not work properly. I expected better quality from a Sheraton Hotel.” Aug 2, 2008 by
Sharon from Milford, MI
“Clean, with friendly staff and comfortable room.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Marie from Cumming, GA
“Nice hotel, easy to get to and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was definitely a plus!” Jul 14, 2008 by
Kath from Yorba Linda, CA
“This is a relatively small town and understand standards might not be same. Cleaning crew not friendly or helpful (almost snide) and facilities left lot to be desired. Door in back opened with room key was damaged and anyone had access with or without key. Pool was not kept up (this is July), very green (unusable). Needing some updating.” Jul 12, 2008 by
Constantine from Midlothian, VA
“New carpeting in hallways, excellent beds and large rooms. A full buffet breakfast with waiter service came with the room. The only negative was no fridge or microwave. For an older facility, it more than met my expectations.” Jul 9, 2008 by
Jamil from Waldorf, MD
“My room was a double and a bit tight. The room was clean and air conditioned. The hall was extremely hot (warmer than outside). The carpet in the halls were badly warn and there isn't an elevator to the second floor. The lack of an elevator is fine if you do not have heavy luggage, which we did. The staff is helpful and as long as you stay in your room the facility seems like a possible 2 star hotel. I do not agree with the three star rating given.” Jul 8, 2008 by
Mave from Sarnia, ON CA
“The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The halls of the hotel were very shabby. The room itself had a comfortable bed, somewhat dated looking but generally pretty clean. The door to the hotel room seemed to have gaps around the frame. The breakfast which was included in the price was very good and the servers were friendly. The hotel had an outdoor pool which looked fine we did not use it however. I was disappointed the gym was not functioning which is important to me. One of the persons in our party tried to get a smoking room which should have been available however the hotels computer was unable to accommodate the request despite numerous attempts by the hotel staff. All around I would say it was advertised correctly as a three star hotel.” Jun 12, 2008 by

“We had dinner at the restaurant after we arrived. The room was practically empty but there was only 1 waitress. We waited a long time to order & it took over 1/2 hour to get our food. The burger was overcooked, hard as a rock (I ordered medium), put cheese on it when I ordered it without cheese, French fries cold. Couldn't find waitress to send it back. By the time she did check back, my husband was already done his meal (which was also cold but her was hungry). We never got the drinks we ordered. She blamed it on the manager who was trying to make trouble for her and make life miserable! No apologies, lots of excuses. We ended up leaving without me eating & I got a chocolate bar from the vending machine. Horrible customer service and horrendous food.” Jun 3, 2008 by
Peter from Exton, PA
“Rooms are getting to look worn; good restaurant but service and wine costs bad. Unhelpful night staff.” Jun 2, 2008 by
Ray from Zebulon, NC
“The price I received it at was a fair trade. I did have to change rooms twice the first night for air conditioning problems. I found the hotel kitchen to be inadequate and wouldnt dine there.” May 29, 2008 by
Tim
“Very friendly and helpful staff. We liked the area and was close to all of the places we wanted to visit. The hotel had a lot of information to local attractions. I will stay with them again.” May 28, 2008 by
Matt from Morgantown, WV
“This hotel was dirty and the food left much to be desired. The free breakfast was so bad that my wife and I left to go out for breakfast. This hotel, as part of the Sheraton Group, should have been much nicer. This was more like a Motel 6. Big disappointment!” May 25, 2008 by
Tom from Altoona, PA
“Friendly staff, nice meeting rooms, good restaurant food. However, my room was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled strongly of smoke. There were burn holes in the carpet and blankets. I told the front desk attendant and they told me my room was previously a smoking room. They must have changed it to non-smoking status the day before I stayed there! It seems totally ridiculous that they would not have replaced the carpets, blankets, etc. And anything else that would trap the smoke smells! That is my only complaint. Otherwise, it is a dated but decent hotel.” May 18, 2008 by
Cathy from Lexington, KY
“This is by far one of the nicest places I've ever stayed on the road. Everything was immaculate, great complimentary hot breakfast, and the staff was friendly and warm, bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant.” May 15, 2008 by
Donald from Plymouth, MA
“Just far enough off the interstate to eliminate road noise. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Great breakfast with room.” May 12, 2008 by
Carolyn from Evanston, IL
“Not a 4 star.” May 10, 2008 by
Steve from Everett, PA
“My wife and I went there for our one year wedding Anniversary and it was more-less a waste of our time. The bed was so bad and the TV was small and it was not a good time.” May 6, 2008 by
William from Pittsburgh, PA
“A nice facility for families or business travelers. Convenient to the Interstate and to downtown Hagerstown.” May 1, 2008 by
Ana from Amsterdam, NY
“Hotel is in a great location. Beds are heavenly. Must request refrigerator. Staff, super friendly. Great in room breakfast. Very romantic if not for maid service knocking at 9:00 am with the do not disturb posted. Need a bigger sign maybe. Otherwise a great hotel.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Chad from Saint Johnsville, NY
“The hotel was ok, in a easy to find location. It was listed as a three star, but was much less. It had no indoor pool and hallways and common area was old and used. The lobby and bedding have recently been updated. I would like to stay in the area again, just not in this hotel. At best, it is a two star hotel.” Apr 21, 2008 by
Ellen from Exeter, RI
“We stayed here just 6 nights prior and had a terrific experience. This stays not so good. We had been in the car for 9 hours straight and when we got out of the car, there was no-one at the desk, and they did not come for 10 minutes! Then, the door to the hall that goes to outside would either be locked from inside and outside or unlocked from both due to a door mechanical problem, huge inconvenience and huge fire hazard! Door would not unlock from outside even though we had the key, so we had to walk all the way to the front lobby, but worse it would not open from the inside too sometimes! Lastly, our room air conditioner would not work and at 1:30 am we woke up sweating, and they sent security to fix it which he was not able to fix. Then we had lots of problems from there not a good experience overall.” Apr 19, 2008 by
Gail from Voluntown, CT
“For a single overnight stay, the room was very comfortable. The evening meal and the continental breakfast were excellent. I would definitely stay there again.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Waseem from Mississauga, ON CA
“The day was raining heavily. Water was almost gushing into the room from the window. Upon complaint they shifted to another room which was Ok, however this reflects poor maintenance.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Sl from Fredericksburg, PA
“This hotel was great for what I needed it for. It was easy to find and the staff were friendly. The beds were comfy. I think the areas that need improved are the overall decor of the building. The outside of hotel and the hallways are in need of a renovation. The free breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired. The selection of food was poor, there was only one toaster, juices and milk were empty much of the time. The food wasn't very good. I heard more than one person comment about the buffet needing major improvements.” Apr 15, 2008 by
Kim from Bumpass, VA
“This hotel is truly what you expect from a luxury hotel. The bed was huge and very, very comfortable! The staff was very friendly. Free breakfast is offered in the restaurant, eggs, potatoes, sausage, and the works! I loved the small touches of color and the little extras that were offered. The room was large and I wish we could have stayed for longer than a night because it really was a great find!” Apr 14, 2008 by
Glenn. from London, ON CA
“We were working our way south to Virginia Beach and this hotel was so easy to get to. Restaurants all over and an outlet mall 5 minutes away. This Four Points was a perfect choice. Friendly, helpful staff was a plus. However the TVs were ready for the 'Antiques Road show.” Mar 31, 2008 by
Kim from Waukesha, WI
“The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the beds comfortable. It was the nicest 3 star hotel we stayed at for the week. I would highly recommend it to others.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Valerie from Dartmouth, NS CA
“We were very impressed with the curb appeal. The front desk was informative of our arrival and fast to get us to our room. We loved the beds they were so soft and the room service great. Very polite and helpful. Would have been the best hotel we stayed at so far.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Dionicio from Mansfield, OH
“I liked the room cleanliness, friendly employees but I was promised twice two days in a row, that I would have a fridge and microwave put in my room. It never happened.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Diana from Trumbull, CT
“Compared to other hotels, this hotel was great for that area. It shows a little on the worn side as you walk down the hallways. But rooms were clean, people were nice, location was good. Bathroom was spotless! Great experience overall!” Mar 21, 2008 by
Andrea from Silver Spring, MD
“My son and I needed a hotel for the night. We were 60 miles from home because my husband had to be medivacd from a car accident to a trauma center. We were very tired. They were very helpful and I choose The Sheraton 4 Points. Check in was easy but the clerk was non-responsive and barely noticed that I was even there. Very little conversation. I was very tired. The room was very far from the front desk (at the back of the hotel) There was hair of a certain kind in the bath tub. Two out of three lamps in the room didn't work. The room was stuffy and had a stale odor. I guess I really won't go back!” Mar 19, 2008 by
Donna
“I would stay there over and over again. Excellent!” Mar 18, 2008 by
Bob from Honolulu, HI
“Many Four-Points by Sheraton hotels feature top-quality beers in their lounges. The Four-Points by Sheraton in Hagerstown, MD does not, despite the variety of excellent breweries in the region. I would recommend that the lounge at least feature two regional brews on a rotating basis. I am more interested in variety of beverages than "karaoke night."” Mar 14, 2008 by
Angela from Pittsburgh, PA
“The hotel was a good price, and very comfortable rooms, very nicely decorated, and clean, which is the most important thing to me.” Feb 25, 2008 by
Jerome from Fond Du Lac, WI
“Hotel was very good restaurant food was cold.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Guy from New Philadelphia, OH
“Nice hotel, could use some sprucing up, fine details, to be a 3 or 3.5 star hotel. Continental breakfast was super best I have had in a long while. Still overall nice hotel.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Christal from Martinsburg, WV
“We have stayed at many hotels. Many lower end and many upper end depending on the circumstances and frankly this was the worst. This was rated 3+ star and it was nowhere close. The room was nasty, the restaurant was horrible and the staff was below average. This hotel doesn't fit the standards you guys usually apply.” Feb 16, 2008 by
Don from North East, MD
“Probably the best hotel in Hagerstown, but that may not be saying much. Friendly staff, clean rooms, free buffet breakfast. Two story hotel with no elevator. You have to hump your luggage up 16 steps if your room is on the second floor. I haven't found anything better in town so I always ask for a first floor room. Overall I would recommend this hotel.” Feb 8, 2008 by
Bob from Mooresville, NC
“Very respectable hotel. The complimentary breakfast was a surprise & greatly appreciated.”
