“Pleasant hotel and friendly staff. The free Wi-Fi and breakfast were a bonus. I would stay at this hotel again.”

• Clean.
• No hot water.

“The hotel was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Our only problem was that there was no hot water available until morning. It appears that they turn it off during the day.”

• No one spoke very good English, I forgot an item there and it was impossible to explain to them that I would like them to mail it to me.

“It was decent hotel and cleaner than most, if you just need a place to stay.”

• Lobby smelled like a Indian restaurant.

“When I arrived, The immediate reaction was that I just entered a Indian restaurant, the odder was overwhelming. After we entered the room we found a extension cord with a six plug outlet at the end (seems to me that they needed a electrical update). Then at about 11 the room across the hall had a party and kept us up for a few hours. When we woke and took a shower we found out that the towels were stained with dirt or grease. Overall I would never recommend this place to anyone.”

• Hotel smells. Not a clean facility.

“The original room I was assigned to have a very bad odor and upon entering the room the bed pillows looked as if someone had prompted them up. The bed sheet was not completely on the mattress. I called the front desk and he said all rooms looked the same which was not true. They did offer me another room of which the appearance was better, but I would never stay at a Microtel again.”

• I slept well.
• I couldn't understand the staff. no one spoke English that was well understood.

“The bathrooms smelled bad. The breakfast was stale. The staff had a very difficult time communicating with us, we couldn't understand them at all. Even the non smoking rooms smelled of smoke.”

• Exceptionally clean.
• Very small room, but served its purpose.

“This is a good hotel for a quick stay. The room was very small, and they did not have the little refrigerator we expected, but that really did not matter. No hair dryer, but packed my own, thank goodness. We had to ask for towels as they only give you one. Really, though, the location and cleanliness would have me stay again in a heartbeat! A good value.”

• Comfortable bed and hot shower.
• Too close to interstate, very noisy, bathroom ceiling vent missing a cover, a little dirty.

“The lobby was very attractive, the staff was quite efficient. Try not to get a room facing the interstate. Continental breakfast was a big disappointment. Packaged pastries, coffee, juice from concentrate.”

• They location was great. Halfway point between Gettysburg and Antetum.
• I requested an extra pillow and blanket at 10:00 am for that I had to go and get it.

“I would rate it higher except for the fact that only 1 person spoke English and he directed the rest of the staff. Curious.”

• The location was close to major highways.
• There was a smoky scent on one of our pillows; we had a non smoking room.

“I had a pleasant stay, but how could no smoking be enforced in the designated areas. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. The pillows were too soft. The staff was courteous and tried to resolve our concerns.”

• Close to 81; great for 1 night stay during trip.
• Nothing.

“The room was very clean and comfortable. This hotel is close to 81. I had planned the trip with this hotel in mind; we drove for 7 hrs and at 10pm pulled over to sleep here. I went by the previous reviews and the room was up to expectations. The breakfast was nothing fancy but we were able to grab something quick in the morning and keep going.”

• Wireless internet allowed me to complete necessary work.
• The beds were horrible; when you laid on them they sunk in the middle.

“The hotel is clean and well kept; however, the beds were bad when you laid on them they seemed to sink to the middle with little to no support.”

• It was cheap.
• Traffic noise from interstate.

“Very clean, very convenient, a little noisy from traffic. Had a problem with the room above making noise. After two hours they were thrown out of the hotel. Hotel staff might want to screen guests a little better.”

• The staff was all very friendly and we had a microwave and mini-fridge in our room.
• The hallway had a funny smell and they forgot to clean the microwave.

“The staff were very friendly and the rooms fairly clean although they had forgotten to clean the microwave from the previous guest. I loved having the mini-fridge and microwave in the room but not having to pay the price of a suite.”

• The employees were of Indian descent and were very difficult to understand.

“The hotel is located right off I-81, so it was easy to get to. We heard cars all night, because of the highway. The rooms were extremely small and compact, but well-thought out and clean.”

• Large rooms, mid-sized kitchen and breakfast for under $70.00!
• No smoking rooms available.

“A lot of bang for your buck. Large family room, pull out sofa, mid-sized kitchen, fridge and coffee maker all included. "Continental" breakfast was only pastries and fruit juice but still better than nothing which is what you'd get at another hotel chain. Friendly management.”
