“Everything is good. Location is second to none. The staff are wonderful. Only drawback is no wireless internet in the rooms and the Ethernet cable is not long enough to enable someone to lie in bed and work on their laptop.” Sep 21, 2006 by
Diana from Auburndale, MA
“Great location and nice rooms. They must not train the staff to recommend local things (like a place to find brunch!) Also the room next to ours had a loud door that slammed a couple of times early on Sunday morning.” Aug 1, 2006 by
Susan from North Bay Village, FL
“The high speed internet was not working in my room. I asked for a 1 p.m. checkout (checkout is at 12) and was told it would cost me $50 for one hour which I thought was excessive. The doorman was especially pleasant. You cannot beat the location if you want to be near to all the shopping and local 'scene'. All in all it was fine, but I think they could have extended my stay by one hour, because they still had rooms available for the following night.” Jul 20, 2006 by
Jeffrey from Rutland, VT
“Right there in the middle of everything, ballpark, food, store.” Jul 13, 2006 by
Donna from Hooksett, NH
“The Hotel was in a very old building that was updated into the Courtyard Marriott It had a lot of character and the rooms were gorgeous. It was only rated a 2.5 star and our experience was definitely a 4 Star. The Hotel is located near Newbury Street and had a lot of fun activities that were offered nearby. Our next stay we will try the famous Duck Tour which embarks right near the Hotel. Thank you.” May 10, 2006 by
Anne-Marie from Nashua, NH
“My 2nd time staying here and hotel is just fine” Dec 16, 2005 by
Heather from Burlington, MA
“This hotel is very convenient and more luxurious. It was an old historic building, yet the facilities were brand new. The room that I was in would have been a bit small for two guests, but was more than perfect for one.” Dec 15, 2005 by
Leonard from Gilbert, AZ
“Hotel was clean, centrally located and met all my needs. Only thing that was not to my satisfaction was the overnight car parking. A 5-star hotel across the street had cheaper rates.” Nov 15, 2005 by
Erin from Madison, WI
“Very nice place with nice rooms and nice extras like chocolate fondue. Very close to convention center and shopping mall.” Nov 7, 2005 by
James from Portland, ME
“A modest, comfortable place to stay it you want to shop the Prudential or Copley downtown malls, stroll Newberry St; or visit the Boston Fine Arts museum or the Gardner, or the Boston Public Library. Easy to get to on the "T", from South Station.” Nov 5, 2005 by
Don from East Greenbush, NY
“Great location, clean, friendly all a great price.” Nov 4, 2005 by
Eugene from Lynden, WA
“This hotel is a converted apartment building in Copley Square area of Boston, next to City Library. Personnel were friendly and very helpful. Rooms kept very clean by an excellent cleaning staff. Check in and check out were seamless with courtesy service. Hotel provides extra in afternoon treats, i.e. cookies, chocolates, etc, as a special event. Gladly stay again.” Nov 2, 2005 by
Nancy from Hopkinton, NH

“My wife and I took a weekend in Boston to see the sights and watch a football game. The hotel met our needs in almost all regards. Shopping and restaurants as well as public transportation are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, comfortable and well maintained, although the rooms are small.” May 27, 2005 by
Patricia from Barrington, NH
“Overall, this hotel met our expectations. We were disappointed in some areas: the bathroom only had a large shower stall which had a short shower curtain allowing water to get all over the bathroom floor, refrigerator did not keep things cold, being diabetic it was very necessary to keep insulin cold. It was an inconvenience to keep getting ice to keep our things cold. Did not have a large selection of non-paid TV channels. Otherwise, nice hotel!!!” May 7, 2005 by
Pat from Chagrin Falls, OH
“Clean!!Wireless.Close to Copley and numerous restaurants. Comfortable bed.” Sep 29, 2004 by
Logan I. from Naugatuck, CT “Cozy, but clean, nice, and a great location.” Sep 28, 2004 by
Carl L. from Portland “Large room with friendly staff.” Sep 22, 2004 by
Young A. from Jamaica “The hotel was more than what I had expected. I had asked for a 2 star hotel and was upgraded to a 2.5 star hotel. The location was closer than I had expected. The room was also very clean, large and tastefully decorated. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.”
