• The staff was absolutely amazing and very funny.

“My friend and I loved this hotel, the room was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and one woman even offered to help us with our bags even though it wasn't apart of her job. The only thing this hotel lacked was a pool, but when youre in Boston for the weekend its not like you need one.”

• My room was wonderful. Clean, spacious and luxurious for the price I paid.
• I cannot think of anything. The public areas are small but nicely furnished and decorated.

“I have stayed at this hotel about a dozen times. I would never stay anywhere else in Boston if it were my choice. The staff is super friendly, the location is second to none and the rooms are spotless and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone. I hope to stay here again many times. It's the best value in the Copley area of Boston by far.”

• Little extras - evening functions, room decor, bed comfort.
• Low water pressure and low temperature in the shower.

“Very good quality hotel, with ample sized rooms, very comfortable beds, quiet location and quiet rooms. Generally friendly and competent staff. Each evening there is a special event e.g. hot chocolate. Very good in-room facilities. Minimal facilities outside the rooms, but close to shops and supermarket, transport etc. The plumbing leaves a bit to be desired if you want a hot shower, but that might be just Boston and/or the USA. Better than England but not as good as Australia or Japan. This is not a run-down hotel unlike others in the vicinity. It is excellent for a couple or single business traveler or tourist.”

• The location and the price. It was clean and the staff was great.
• No power vent in the bathroom.

“The courtyard Marriott at Copley is a very clean well appointed mid class hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The location was excellent being next to the Boston public library and Copley square. The only small problem was the lack of a power vent in the bath so the mirror was rather fogged up after a shower. Great place.”

• There seemed to be many little things broken/dirty/poorly done--the sink, dresser, housekeeping, room charges.

“It was adequate and conveniently located. Standard Marriott furnishing. But there were many little things that were basically annoyances and affected the stay. Drawers were broken. The sink stopper didn't work. There were actually gummy bears and broken pieces of plastic on the floors when we arrived. Housekeeping took a hotel-supplied robe (which would have been if they thought we had decided to take it home) and it was never replaced after telling them twice. We were charged for a breakfast on our bill even though we never entered the restaurant. This is all nit picking. But there were a lot of nits!”

• We did not realize there would be a $40 fee for parking.

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Courtyard Copley Square. The room was nicely appointed, the beds were extremely comfortable and the location was quiet for such a downtown location. It was nice to be able to walk to many of the must see areas of Boston. We were traveling with a friend from Europe who was staying an extra day and the staff were very helpful in assisting him in finding a tour of the city for the day and getting him back out to the airport. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and would stay there again.”

• Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, they were the best part of my stay.
• Called over the phone to see about receiving a different room, and spoke to someone who was rude about wanting the change the room.

“This hotel is in a great location in Copley Square. They have hotel valet service and they were very prompt upon bringing the car up. Also, staff was very helpful and friendly. The room are a bit small.”

• Hi speed internet not working. $50 for One hour late checkout.

“The high speed internet was not working in my room. I asked for a 1 p.m. checkout (checkout is at 12) and was told it would cost me $50 for one hour which I thought was excessive. The doorman was especially pleasant. You cannot beat the location if you want to be near to all the shopping and local 'scene'. All in all it was fine, but I think they could have extended my stay by one hour, because they still had rooms available for the following night.”

• We were pleasantly surprised by this Hotel. Our stay was wonderful and we will definitely do it again.
• Absolutely nothing.

“The Hotel was in a very old building that was updated into the Courtyard Marriott It had a lot of character and the rooms were gorgeous. It was only rated a 2.5 star and our experience was definitely a 4 Star. The Hotel is located near Newbury Street and had a lot of fun activities that were offered nearby. Our next stay we will try the famous Duck Tour which embarks right near the Hotel. Thank you.”

“This hotel is very convenient and more luxurious. It was an old historic building, yet the facilities were brand new. The room that I was in would have been a bit small for two guests, but was more than perfect for one.”

• I thought the overnight car parking was outrageous. A 5 star hotel across the street had cheaper overnight parking. Need to work on this.

• The room we were offered was more a suite of two rooms with excellent accommodations and view.
• Minor point, could not turn off white light on clock. Had to bury clock to sleep.

“This hotel is a converted apartment building in Copley Square area of Boston, next to City Library. Personnel were friendly and very helpful. Rooms kept very clean by an excellent cleaning staff. Check in and check out were seamless with courtesy service. Hotel provides extra in afternoon treats, i.e. cookies, chocolates, etc, as a special event. Gladly stay again.”

• The room was very tastefully done and the location was wonderful for getting around. Hotel staff went to a lot of trouble for us because they were out.
• Shortage of nonsmoking rooms.

“Overall, this hotel met our expectations. We were disappointed in some areas: the bathroom only had a large shower stall which had a short shower curtain allowing water to get all over the bathroom floor, refrigerator did not keep things cold,being diabetic it was very necessary to keep insulin cold. It was an inconvenience to keep getting ice to keep our things cold. Did not have a large selection of non-paid TV channels. Otherwise, nice hotel!!!”

“The hotel was more than what I had expected. I had asked for a 2 star hotel and was upgraded to a 2.5 star hotel. The location was closer than I had expected. The room was also very clean, large and tastefully decorated. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.”
