• Location, friendly staff.
• No wireless internet in rooms.

“Everything is good. Location is second to none. The staff are wonderful. Only drawback is no wireless internet in the rooms and the Ethernet cable is not long enough to enable someone to lie in bed and work on their laptop.”

• The staff couldn't make a recommendation on where to go to brunch.

“Great location and nice rooms. They must not train the staff to recommend local things (like a place to find brunch!) Also the room next to ours had a loud door that slammed a couple of times early on Sunday morning.”

• Hi speed internet not working. $50 for One hour late checkout.

“The high speed internet was not working in my room. I asked for a 1 p.m. checkout (checkout is at 12) and was told it would cost me $50 for one hour which I thought was excessive. The doorman was especially pleasant. You cannot beat the location if you want to be near to all the shopping and local 'scene'. All in all it was fine, but I think they could have extended my stay by one hour, because they still had rooms available for the following night.”

• We were pleasantly surprised by this Hotel. Our stay was wonderful and we will definitely do it again.
• Absolutely nothing.

“The Hotel was in a very old building that was updated into the Courtyard Marriott It had a lot of character and the rooms were gorgeous. It was only rated a 2.5 star and our experience was definitely a 4 Star. The Hotel is located near Newbury Street and had a lot of fun activities that were offered nearby. Our next stay we will try the famous Duck Tour which embarks right near the Hotel. Thank you.”

• The decor was beautiful.
• The room was a little small and no vending machines, had to go to lobby for equivalent.

“This hotel is very convenient and more luxurious. It was an old historic building, yet the facilities were brand new. The room that I was in would have been a bit small for two guests, but was more than perfect for one.”

• Thought it was convenient and centrally located.
• I thought the overnight car parking was outrageous. A 5 star hotel across the street had cheaper overnight parking. Need to work on this.

• Front desk and bell boys a little too attentive.

• Excellent location for my purposes; reasonable facilities.
• Nothing, it was what it should have been, for its class.

“A modest, comfortable place to stay it you want to shop the Prudential or Copley downtown malls, stroll Newberry St; or visit the Boston Fine Arts museum or the Gardner, or the Boston Public Library. Easy to get to on the "T", from South Station.”

• The room we were offered was more a suite of two rooms with excellent accommodations and view.
• Minor point, could not turn off white light on clock. Had to bury clock to sleep.

“This hotel is a converted apartment building in Copley Square area of Boston, next to City Library. Personnel were friendly and very helpful. Rooms kept very clean by an excellent cleaning staff. Check in and check out were seamless with courtesy service. Hotel provides extra in afternoon treats, i.e. cookies, chocolates, etc, as a special event. Gladly stay again.”

• The room was very tastefully done and the location was wonderful for getting around. Hotel staff went to a lot of trouble for us because they were out.
• Shortage of nonsmoking rooms.

• Comfortable beds, attentive staff.
• Small, uninviting lobby, no taxi stand.

“My wife and I took a weekend in Boston to see the sights and watch a football game. The hotel met our needs in almost all regards. Shopping and restaurants as well as public transportation are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, comfortable and well maintained, although the rooms are small.”

“Overall, this hotel met our expectations. We were disappointed in some areas: the bathroom only had a large shower stall which had a short shower curtain allowing water to get all over the bathroom floor, refrigerator did not keep things cold,being diabetic it was very necessary to keep insulin cold. It was an inconvenience to keep getting ice to keep our things cold. Did not have a large selection of non-paid TV channels. Otherwise, nice hotel!!!”

“The hotel was more than what I had expected. I had asked for a 2 star hotel and was upgraded to a 2.5 star hotel. The location was closer than I had expected. The room was also very clean, large and tastefully decorated. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.”
