• Public spaces were elegant and very large hotel, good location.
• Food prices very high, small room, rude staff when I called to request room type, and awful pillows.

“We did not eat at the hotel at all because the prices were ridiculously high. Room was very small, and for being a 3.5 star hotel I expected at least a small fridge or microwave in the room. Overall, the hotel was OK, especially for the price I paid. But I've gotten much better hotels in this area using Priceline.”

• Fantastic hot tub and loved the 9 ft deep pool.
• Initial contact was not very well. Lady on the phone was rude. A jet was broken on the hot tub and cut my daughters foot.

• Close to Mall of America and size of room.
• Dorito left on floor when we entered.

“Overall this hotel was well worth the money. There was a Dorito chip left on the floor when we entered our room. I understand I am picky but that is disgusting. I did not let it bother me because overall this was a very nice hotel.”

• Nice room.
• Non-existent of sound-proofing in the room.

“Awful sound-proofing--we did not sleep a wink that night. We could hear people walking about/partying, etc. The music from either a floor up or a floor down was heard quite clearly. However, the room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Perhaps a good choice for weekdays, but definitely not for weekends, especially if you need sleep.”

• Huge hot tub, deep pool, adequate fitness center.
• Getting to be a little dated.

“Great location, just off 494 and 100. Great views from upper rooms. The pool is an older pool that is about 9 feet deep. The hot tub is very long, good for relaxing while kids swim. The fitness center was nice. I am a amateur bodybuilder and got a decent workout. It had very nice cardiovascular machines. The hotel is getting to be a little outdated compared to others in the area. Fridays restaurant within walking distance.”

• Free parking.
• Talking elevator is very annoying.

“The person in charge of housekeeping should be fired. The maids consistently forgot to clean or restock something, and once left their dirty cleaning rag in the room. The hotel needs somebody to double check the rooms after cleaning.
We requested a room on a higher floor but were told there were none available, but I know that the hotel was less than one-third full. There was no milk available in the hotel convenience store.
The talking elevator was very annoying.”

• Price, comfortable.
• Dark parking lots. Understaffed front desk.

“We have stayed here about 4 times. The most recent stay was not the greatest. There were about 8 people in line waiting to check in at the front desk and only 1 person working. He had to check all of us in and run the little convenience store. It was ridiculous. Also, I don't know why we always get put beside someone who likes to slam their door at 3 am. Can't they spread us out a little? I also got sick from touching the remote. The TV changes channels slower than a 90 year old in rush hour traffic. Other than that, it's a very nice place to stay. Comfortable beds. Nice rooms.”

“The staff at the hotel was great. We had trouble with the first room we were given smelling like smoke. When we asked to change rooms the staff apologized and gave us a preferred room. It was above and beyond what we expected and would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• It appeared fancy and well maintained fow a decent price.
• The pool wasn't advertised, didn't know it existed until we arrived and smelled chlorine in the lobby.

“Some fancy hotels focus so much on looks that they don't offer friendly customer care. This place managed both. I thought it was above the 3-1/2 stars that it was rated. I would definitely take my family here again in the future (This was the first time that we had ever stayed in a Sheraton).”

• Lack of continental breakfast, requirement to upgrade to receive 2 beds.

“For an upscale hotel, the hotel fell short on accommodations. There was no continental breakfast nor an airport shuttle. We requested 2 beds in the room due to our child. We were told that they could not accommodate this request due to overbooking.”

• The location was convenient and the pool was big.
• Dirty and small room and the hotel appeared to need some serious renovation.

“The hotel is a great location; however no shuttle to and from the MOA. Our room was very small and dirty that included hair all over the bathroom floor and tub as well as peanuts underneath the desk which led us to believe the room is never cleaned.”

• Friendly staff and very nice rooms, good common spaces, lots of parking.
• Water bottles in room cost almost $4 if you drank from them.

“We really enjoyed our stay, even if it was just an overnight to be able to fly early in the morning. Nice with later check-out time, good pool hours, and convenient location to some restaurants both in and out of hotel. Rooms were spacious enough for a family to enjoy. We will definitely make this our fall-back hotel when we are flying through!”

“This was a great hotel for the price we paid on Priceline. The staff was very accomodating. The first room we had smelled really badly of smoke, and it was a smoke-free hotel. So we called the front desk and were given a new room right away.”

• A very nice hotel, well-kept, with a great fitness center.
• No airport transportation available.

“The hotel was very nice with good amenities and food establishments nearby. Staff was generally helpful and friendly. The only downside was that the hotel no longer had shuttle service to the airport (which I needed), so a rental car is necessary.”

• The bed/mattress was extremely comfortable!
• Bathroom was a 1-2 star-definitely not 3 or 4 star.

“Very easy to find and get to. Again, that bed/mattress was so very comfortable, my daughter and I had no problem sleeping. We got a room with a tiny, strangely plumbed bathroom. Though everything was very clean, I wouldn't want to have spent much time in it because it was so small. It was clean, nice, quiet, and easy to get to.”

“15 years ago this would have been a beautiful hotel. However, it felt like the hotel was past it's prime. It was in dire need of a major overhaul to maintain it's standing as a 3 1/2 star hotel. I would never pay full price to stay here.”

“It seems the pricier the hotel, the more they charge you for things. Internet is $10 a day, local phone calls are $2! The rooms are very small, but clean. I wouldn't choose to stay there, especially at their regular rates.”

• The wallpaper was coming off the walls in our room. Bathroom was extremely small, stains on ceiling.

• Pool for the kids, in room coffee (starbucks!), fast elevators.
• Restaurant horrible food, wings tasted like old reheated chicken, shut the pool for a short time because of an event hosted by the pool.

“Front desk not helpful when we called to see if we could check in an hour or 2 early so we could drop or bags and go out, when we arrived there early there then was not a problem. Inconsistent, I can't stand when people won't even take the time to check. Closing the pool was a bit of a disappointment to the kids. Otherwise rooms nice, comfy beds, clean but small. Restaurant needs a new cook!”
