• It was very close to the Mall of America and the shuttle service is great for teenage children.
• Would like the shuttle to drop off at IKEA as well.

“Enjoyable stay. Comfortable and quiet. Almost too quiet (needed a fan to make a humming noise to sleep better- personal preference). Great shuttle service to the mall-perfect for teenage children to come and go as they please and parents can relax back at the hotel with the awesome 42" HD TV.”

• Location was awesome, right across from mall of America parking lot.
• Hotel was great, but I prefer having the sink outside of the bathroom.

“The remodel they did was great. The hotel was very nice. Of course their expanded continental breakfasts are always great. We also liked that they had a Fridays restaurant connected to the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.”

• They let us check in at 9:00 am after just getting off the Amtrak train. They were very helpful and eager to answer questions.
• The breakfast was the exact same everyday - maybe a little variety and some fruit.

“Great location - you can walk to the Mall of America and lots of places to eat close by. They were very friendly and the room had a refrigerator and microwave. I don't like it when hotels have adult movies on the TV since I sometimes have my kids with me on trips.”

• Rooms were great.
• Entire area around our room smelled terribly because of construction.

“The rooms and service was great, but the hotel was under construction, which we had to walk through to get to our room. Whatever the construction workers were using had a horrible smell that we also had to go through to get to our room. Stay would have been great if not for this. If we could have stayed elsewhere in the hotel, our rating would have been higher.”

• The employees, front desk, breakfast, shuttle drivers and a few housekeepers.
• General manager and her assistant.

“The guest rooms are very dated and in desperate need for a renovation. The room smelled stale, old and dirty and was very dusty. We found debris on carpet and under the bed. The microwave was very dirty and we found someones left over food in the refrigerator. Shower curtain had mold and the most horrible part stains on the bedspread. The breakfast area is a disaster room that is extremely over crowded; this room was packed full every day. After our first time experience in the breakfast room we decided to eat out the following morning. The food was always running out, the tables were dirty and sticky. The breakfast lady had no help except for an occasional person that would pop in now and then. My husband ended up cleaning off a couple of tables himself; we felt bad bothering the poor woman who obviously looked overwhelmed. For the money we spend at this hotel it was not worth it. Its overpriced on what youre getting. The quality is poor. The majority of the employees were very nice, but the managers need a lesson in courtesy, friendliness and how to respond to a guest that has complaints.”

• Booked a king 2 room suite, got a full 2 room suite. They said they were out of king rooms.

• Very close to the Mall of America.
• A/C did not stay on continuously thru the night.

“This hotel is very nice and right across from the Mall of America. You can literally walk across the street to the Mall. The room was very large and nice. The A/C was set at the coldest setting, however, during the night it did not run continuously and would end up getting somewhat hot in there and then it would kick back on.”

• The location is awesome! We walked to Mall of America. It's quiet, too.
• Smoking rooms are located across the hall from non-smoking rooms. The smoke fills the hallway and seeps into non-smokers rooms.

“The hotel was nice. The only two things that bothered us was that the beds were ROCK HARD, and there are smoking rooms located across the hall from the non-smoking rooms. We could smell the smoke all the way down the hall and at times it seemed that the smoke was coming under our door.”
