• No elevator, only stairs

“Arrived at hotel and was given a handicapped room. Asked if a non handicapped room was available and was told no. Bathtub was outfitted with a handicap shower seat, not much room in the tub to take a shower. Temp outside was 25F. Turned on room heater, did not work. Went to dinner and told front desk the heater did not work. Went to front desk and the response was we can give you more blankets. After insisting this was not acceptable we were given a new room and proceeded to transfer all our clothes to the new room at midnight, which by the way was not a handicapped room.”

“We were very tired when we arrived and the staff jumped into action to help with a crib and roll-a-way bed for the kids. Loved the service. Breakfast in the morning was warm and delicious.”

• We enjoyed the view, the pool, and the beautiful room.
• We were disappointed that they had no continental breakfast. We got confused by the batch of Marriott in a row.

• The staff was both friendly and helpful.
• The bed was too low to the floor. Mattress sagged in the middle of one bed.

“I would stay here again. The coffee in the lobby was always fresh; breakfast was well presented and kept stocked. They also offered an internet bridge, which is most helpful since many times the "free wireless" boasted by many hotels is simply too weak to access.”

• Clean and new. I didn't need a huge space, just a clean and comfortable one. It was everything I hoped for.
• No elevator that we could find. Okay except when carrying suitcases.

“Warm. Cookies baking in the lobby. Always fresh coffee. Very nice breakfast provided (all most people could want in the morning). Ease of check in / check out. Very nice staff at the desk.”

• The breakfast was good. The room had a fridge and microwave.
• The bathroom was a bit rundown, but it was fine for our 1 night stay.

“We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way to Washington, D.C. This hotel was perfect for our purpose. It was not the best, but for the star level, it was great. It had a great breakfast in the morning, free internet, and also had a fridge and microwave in the room. Our 3 plus star hotel in D.C. did not have any of these amenities. I would stay at this hotel again, probably not for an extended stay though.”

• Parking was a bit hard sometimes but construction on main street was a problem.

• Great continental breakfast, great lobby to lounge in, coffee 24/7, helpful desk clerks.
• Non-English speaking staff.

“Room looked like the Marriott. Continental Breakfast w/bacon, sausage, omelets, scrambled eggs, hot cinnamon buns. Very organized layout. Plenty of coffee and flavored creamers. Oversize thick, soft towels. Clean room, fitted sheets, overstuffed lounge chair & ottoman. In the center of shopping center. Lots of places to shop & eat. Private security guard inside in lobby. Periodically checked the parking lot. Cookies when we arrived. Free internet access in lobby. Must be great management and staff.”

• The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and there was no notice heard from the floor above.
• There was nothing that I didn't like.

“Holiday Inn Express Frederick, MD exceeded my expectations for a two star hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are attractive and clean. I especially appreciated the free high speed internet and free breakfast provided to guests. This hotel is very conveniently located with quick and easy access to shopping, dining, and major highways. I highly recommend this hotel to others.”

• They were very helpful. They had room in their freezer for my full sheet cake. For my kids graduation party the next day!

• Staffs extremely helpful, restaurants and shopping in parking lot, free computer access.
• In all honesty this is the first time in years that I have no complaints!

“This hotel is located in Frederick, within 1 minute of Francis key Scott shopping mall, with Bob Evans restaurant adjacent from its parking lot. I was commuting 1 hour each way to and from my worksite, but the staff was helpful with directions, promptly distributed faxes, sent out faxes, etc. I worked from 11 pm until 7 am, arriving at the hotel each morning around 8:30 am, I explained at checkout, what my working schedule was, and they offered to clean my room, right at 8 am, but the room was extremely clean and comfortable, so I just exchanged trash and towels. Without asking, a housekeeper offered to help with my luggage, because the hotel is without an elevator. This was really a wonderful staff, and the property was extremely clean! Oh, the cookies in the afternoon were freshly baked, oatmeal and raisin (my favorite), chocolate chip, nice!”

“The staff was very friendly. The computer in the lobby was great for checking emails quickly and saved bringing a laptop. Breakfast was fresh and many selections. Overall a good hotel experience. I have stayed here before and plan to again.”

• There is no elevator and would have liked pancakes for breakfast.

• I could hear the TV in room next door all night.

“The staff was so helpful, I asked about a supermarket and she printed a map off the web. I told her I would miss my nightcap of warm milk and she offered to fix it for me! The bed was lovely, with both firm and soft pillows and nice bedding. The shower was great with good pressure and lots of room, both shampoo and conditioner were provided, and big soft towels. Altogether a very pleasant stay. I did miss having HGTV to watch, and who cares about all those sports channels.”

“The hotel was fine. The person on the phone said I was all set, but then when I returned to my room that extra evening the clerks said I did not have an extra night on their computer. I told them about adding a night and it being originally two reservations and it was cleared up, but this was kind of irritating. Overall, my stay there was very good. I enjoyed the cinnamon rolls and it was close to the highway.”

• The staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were neat, clean and spacious.
• Nothing.

“The hotel was conveniently located near the exit off RT 270 in Fredericksburg, MD. The staff was cordial, and efficient. The room was ample in size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet provided a good assortment of choices, including healthy ones.”
