• Large room, comfortable bed.
• Staff seemed very arrogant.

“Perfect location, less than a mile from where I was working. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was not very friendly. The check out staff was nicer. The breakfast area took too long. The hotel caters to middle aged men business travelers and as a single woman traveler, I felt kind of odd, but that is the way things often are.”

• The bed and bedding was very comfortable.
• The bathroom was tiny.

“We were in town for a wedding, not "vacation". The hotel was fine for our needs. We just did not realize it was so far from the center of Bloomfield.”

• Pool, food.
• The room I had did not have sleep number beds like other rooms.

“The hotel was nice, staff was great I had one of the rooms that had not been redone yet. But over all I would stay again.”

• The room was very nice.
• The indoor pool is not heated!

“The hotel and staff are very nice. The hot tub is large and clean, but the indoor pool is not heated. Our winter trip and an unheated pool made for unhappy kids.”

• Convenient to my destination.
• Old-- needs refurbishing!

“Given the rating, I was surprised by the dingy interior of this hotel. I placed a room service breakfast request outside my door, which was never picked up. When I called they were quite kind and somewhat quickly remedied the problem, but had I been on a tight schedule this would have been quite a crimp in my day!”

• Small boutique feel.
• No non-smoking rooms available.

“I liked the over lay out of the hotel and the small boutique feel it had. The hotel had been re-done and the rooms were clean and had all things. When I checked in they had no non-smoking rooms available. I did take a smoking room however the smoke drifted into my room from other rooms. They moved me to a Manhattan size room. Very small.”

“The hotel staff was very rude. The rooms wreaked of cigarette smoke; as did the hallways. The walls were very thin, you could hear everything going on in the rooms next to you and out in the hallway.”

• Absolutely nothing.
• Poorly trained staff. Poorly maintained/broken facilities.

“The hotel was confusingly laid out (e.g. my room #352, was on the 2nd floor). The staff was poorly trained, borderline rude, and plainly dishonest. (The front desk clerk claimed that my traveling companion and I could not have rooms near each other, because the hotel was sold out. However, after I discovered that my air conditioning was broken, and that I couldn't call the front desk to complain because the phone was broken too (!), another clerk was able to move me to an empty room two doors down the hall. The earlier clerk had clearly lied to avoid having to reprogram the key, or whatever). The hotel was also unbelievably loud, with ice machines, huge external air conditioners, and various air compressor-type machines all making a giant racket.”

• Very, very classy. The down comforters were a nice touch.
• The food was good awful expensive. But it was a very nice hotel, so it makes sense.

“Very, very clean and service was prompt. It was also romantic and perfect for a quick getaway. There was a pool, a great courtyard. It was a great experience.”

• They upgraded our room, however we had a problem with the hot water for two days.
• Did not respond in a timely manner to the lack of hot water.

• Very quiet in an upscale area of Detroit.
• I liked everything.

“Low-rise building with a great restaurant on site and a deli with quick breakfast service in the morning. Nice courtyard with pool and lots of vegetation for a quiet relaxing area to sit.”

• We liked the courtyard, the fact that the pool had a safety gate and towels, lobby area nice.
• Bigger beds for the double room.

• The rooms are spacious and they offer two restaurants.
• Not a thing!

• The linens were clean.
• It took my wife 15 minutes to get hot water in the morning for the shower.

“The hotel staff wasn't pleasant towards my wife. It seemed that our stay was bothersome. To make matters worse the hot water took forever to heat up.”

• It had a smell of smoke that seemed to linger in all rooms.

• Nice, clean, fairly large rooms.
• Coffee is not available in the lobby, they want you to make it in your room using the room coffee maker. I dislike that.

• Very clean facility/rooms. Complimentary broadband internet. Nice, warm heated pool!
• Parking in rear. Long walk to get to room.

“The Radisson Kingsley offers very nice accommodations. The in room refrigerators and complimentary high speed internet is a plus. My kids especially enjoyed the nice, warm, heated pool. The only downside is that parking is in the rear. The walk to the rooms can be lengthy, especially if you have a lot of luggage.”
