“The sleep number beds were not comfortable.” Aug 19, 2009 by
Ed from Denver,CO
“This was my second stay at this hotel, though it's been years since the first. The rooms appear comfortable enough, but the sleep number beds appear to be broken about 50% of the time. One of the beds in our room was completely flat and would not inflate. Another bed in another room would not budge from the hardest setting. Our room was missing a do not disturb sign, and the housekeeping took full advantage to start disturbing us starting before 9am. On the plus side, housekeeping did retrieve a phone charger for us when we called about it, and held it at the front desk for us to pick up. With changes the hotel could be 3 star, but as is I don't think it's deserving.” Jun 30, 2009 by
Martha from Dallas,TX
“As a business traveler I enjoyed my stay. Helpful courteous staff easy parking and felt very secure coming in late at night. Did not have time to use the pool but it looked great. Kelly's restaurant was delish! Love having small coffee maker in room. Lots of room on the desk to spread my work out. Great to have office desk chair. Hotel is near the freeway so ask for a room on upper level to do away with traffic noise. Decor was very fresh and relaxing. Long live the sleep bed!” May 2, 2009 by
Aletha from Pittsburgh,PA
“Nice hotel and I will recommend it.” Apr 28, 2009 by
William from Johnson City,TN
“Excellent location with spectacular views of downtown Cincinnati. The revolving restaurant on the 18th floor was very good.” Oct 24, 2008 by
Linda
“Good hotel for travelers. It was nice to be able to enjoy a drink in our hotel. We will stay again.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Teresa from Bowling Green, KY
“I will stay again, but will request a room away from the interstate the next time. The management and staff was great. New renovations - fresh and clean.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Barry
“Excellent hotel; clean, comfortable and convenient. Like the idea of free parking and easy access to shuttles to Cincinnati.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Nancy from Portage, MI
“There were 3 couples traveling together. No place to sit to converse. Tiny lobby. No gift shop so to speak. Slow service. Very noisy to sleep as it next to freeway. No towels available in pool area. Ask the desk, very slow to respond. Very slow to respond to get any extras in the room. No trash bins easily accessible. Poor parking. No place to sit outside.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Ryan
“We had a great stay. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked into our room and we were looking straight out towards the city/river. There were fireworks the first night around 10:30 when the Reds game ended and the view from the balcony was perfect. The room was recently remodeled and there were no issues with construction (they are working on the third floor and then they will be done). Parking was convenient (we parked in the lot, not the garage). The only issues we had was the plugs by the sink didn't work and the room didn't seem to ever get really cold even thought the thermostat was turned all the way down. All in all a great stay.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Glenn from Caledonia, MI
“Decent hotel. Hotel sits right next to I-75 and if you are a light sleeper the freeway traffic will definitely keep you up. If you stay, get a room the opposite side from the freeway.” Aug 28, 2008 by
John from Sacramento, CA
“Hotel staff responded extremely poorly to a problem.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Margaret from Lafayette, IN
“All in all, the hotel and room were excellent. Just requested room overlooking river & city, but overlooked freeway and was very noisy, especially at night. Revolving restaurant had a very nice breakfast buffet. Would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Christopher from Beckemeyer, IL
“Pros: This hotel has an excellent location, bus comes and goes to the ball park to hotel, all you can eat breakfast for $9.95 adults/$4.95 kids with a great view, nice indoor/outdoor pool. Cons: Neighborhood looks run down in the surrounding blocks, restaurant does not spin before 11 am so be sure to plan a lunch or dinner if this is important for your traveling experience, air conditioner was poorly cooling the room. Overall this was a good stay.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Tim from Heyworth, IL
“This hotel was very sub par. The air conditioner did not work and was not fixed when reported to the front desk. The front desk did even offer to switch rooms.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Michelle from Troy, OH
“The room above must have leaked over from the toilet or bathtub. At 1 AM, we were awaken with water pouring out of the vent in the bathroom and over the outside balcony. I called the front desk and no one ever came to investigate or clean up. We had to go to the lobby to use the restroom or stand in about 1 inches of water at our toilet in our room. We could not shower the next morning, because the bathroom was very dirty from all the water settled overnight. Overall, very dissatisfied with the hotel and we have been coming here once a year for our anniversary for 7 years. We will not stay here ever again. We will dine in the restaurant but find another hotel close by because of this lack of customer attentiveness.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Greg from Fort Wayne, IN
“Currently remodeling. We stayed in a remodeled room that was very nice. Great location. Easy access to highways and downtown Cincinnati.” Jul 8, 2008 by
Jed from Marshfield, MO
“We had to change rooms because the air conditioner was not cooling. By then we had spent two nights not sleeping well. The desk sent maintenance up and said it was fixed, but it froze up again. They finally changed our room. The lamp on one side was not plugged in because there was no outlet there. The remote needed a new battery, the pillows were too flat to prop up for viewing TV, and the rooms were noisy from the Interstate. It was convenient to the riverfront, and Downtown Cincinnati however. But it you like to spend time in the room, stay somewhere else.” Jul 7, 2008 by
Virgil from Columbus, IN
“The hotel was okay. I was very disappointed that there were no pay per view movies channels. The area is very tricky to negotiate due to many one way streets and the proximity of the riverfront and interstate overpasses.” May 13, 2008 by
Gerald from New Albany, IN
“It was great! Close to Cincinnati. Quiet, didn't have to worry about kids running down the hall. Dinner and drinks at Kelly's Public house was great.” May 11, 2008 by
Marcia from Potomac, IL
“Older hotel with beautiful lobby but when opening up the door to the room was a little disappointed because the room was not too up to date. It needs some updating. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.” May 10, 2008 by
John from Champaign, IL
“Nice, clean hotel in great location to Downtown Cincinnati. Fun night-life within walking distance.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Tracie from Columbus, OH
“Everything was as should be. Very professional.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Kathie from Columbus, OH
“This hotel is very convenient. It is undergoing much needed renovation. Dinner at the rooftop revolving restaurant which was very good with a spectacular view! It will be very nice when renovations completed but for now there were dissatisfied customers!” Mar 24, 2008 by
Tim from Piqua, OH
“Our stay was very nice. The revolving restaurant at the top of the hotel, while expensive, was exquisite. The room was perfect for a romantic getaway. The Sleep Number bed ensured that we were both comfortable, and the space in the room was a lot bigger than expected, given the shape of the building. The swimming facility was fantastic and was not busy at all. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the Riverfront Radisson to anyone!” Feb 12, 2008 by
Rob from Franklin, IN
“Very enjoyable stay and my wife and I would do it again.” Jul 22, 2007 by
Steve from Canal Winchester, OH
“I was very disappointed that I paid full price for a hotel and did not get to enjoy all of the services. I was not notified until checking in that the pool was under construction, and would be closed for several weeks. One of my reasons for choosing this hotel was the good things that were mentioned about the pool. I just wish the price reflected the construction that was taking place. I will not book there again without calling first.” Jun 21, 2007 by
Mark from Mt. Sterling, KY
“Nice location, unique rooms and great Riverview for dining. Would prefer a king size bed when staying at the Radisson.” Jun 11, 2007 by
Lyric from Cincinnati, OH
“I love the location so I did recommend this hotel to a friend that did book a room for a few days. I just did not like room service ending at 10:00pm.” Jun 7, 2007 by
Amy T. from Stillwater, OK
“Renovated from the inside, however the outside lacked a lot. Lots of traffic noise from our room and the price wasn't much less than their normal rate.” Jun 1, 2007 by
Michael from South Bend, IN
“Location I was disappointed.” Apr 29, 2007 by
Gm from El Cajon, CA
“We have always been anxious about reserving this hotel because it is an older bldg & is located right next to the freeway but we were pleasantly surprised! The reception area (as well as other public areas) is comfortable and clean and the desk staff very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are (somewhat) recently updated but clean and comfortable and the sound insulation is very good so noise is not an issue. The "penthouse" restaurant/bar rotates 365 degrees, offering a great view of Cincinnati and surrounding areas but the service and food were both poor. Too bad - that should be a huge moneymaker!” Apr 27, 2007 by
Andrew from Somerset, KY
“I found the hotel to be a disappointment for the star level that it was rated. The hotel common areas were nice, but the room and hallways to the rooms were in desperate need of remodeling and/or updating. The hallway and room had an unpleasant odor and the sliding glass doors to the balcony were streaked and dirty. The view from the balcony was a car lot and parking lot. ” Apr 27, 2007 by
Manny from Mentor, OH
“Location of hotel was very convenient. The hotel has an "older" look to it. Unique round shape of the building makes it an interesting to see. Free internet access is a huge plus. The business center is nothing to write home about.” Apr 23, 2007 by
Susan from Lexington, KY
“The price was right, so I booked this room for a 2 night stay. When they say "compact," they mean tiny! This was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. the room was too small to even accommodate the coffee machine, so they put that in the bathroom. It was possible to sit on the commode, brush your teeth and make coffee, all at the same time! The one double bed actually looked large in this room. It worked okay for me as a solo traveler, but no way would 2 people fit in this room.” Apr 9, 2007 by
Alicia from Huntington, WV
“It is very nice! We will stay there again!” Apr 8, 2007 by
Sue from Gainesville, GA
“This hotel was a good value, but it is a little past its prime.” Apr 5, 2007 by
Amanda from Galloway, OH
“This was a very nice hotel and very close to downtown Cincinnati. It is within walking distance of Main Strasse, which has turned into a bar haven--would be the perfect place to stay if you wanted to go bar hopping! It was close to the freeway, but was not noisy at all; I could faintly hear trucks driving by, but it was not loud enough to disturb me. Room came with a fridge in it, which was very nice to have. Small complaint: ice machines are on every other floor, but there is no sign to inform you of this. We could not find an ice machine on our floor, and had to call the front desk to find out that we had to go to another floor to get ice. Overall, though, excellent experience!” Mar 31, 2007 by
Brigid from Zionsville, IN
“We had a great time. The staff was very responsive to a request to change to a room with king-sized bed, and more pillows, as well as providing excellent information about transportation and local dining. The location is excellent -- our room had a fabulous view of the river and Cincinnati proper. We were in walking distance of restaurants, parks, galleries and the excellent local bus shuttle.” Mar 28, 2007 by
Amy from Indianapolis, IN
“This hotel is old and outdated. The restaurant and room service quality are not varied. The hotel doesn't keep the rooms clean. There are no extras or amenities with this hotel. I would not advise anyone to stay here.” Mar 27, 2007 by
Carol from Concord, NC
“The hotel is easily accessible. It has plenty of free parking, which I liked. The room had been recently updated, newly decorated and very spacious. I had no idea it was so nice, or I would have stayed there before now.” Mar 19, 2007 by
Mike from Lexington, KY
“Convenient and accessible to 75 travelers. Their attention to detail has noticeably improved since our last visit. Love the restaurant ambiance.” Mar 1, 2007 by
Michael from Miamisburg, OH
“The hotel was not what I would think of as three stars. Technically, it has most of the amenities of a three star hotel, but the hotel in general feels rather rundown. Old, worn fixtures, mislaid carpeting, of all things a lot of the switch and electrical outlet plates were crooked. The lamps by the beds had a burned out bulb, and the other one had no bulb at all. The proximity to the highway did not bother us, but I think we are probably exceptional in this feeling because there was a constantly substantial highway noise.” Feb 26, 2007 by
Betsy from Fort Wayne, IN
“I would not go back there for the amount of money it cost us. There was no continental breakfast and the room was not very nice at all-in fact our coffee maker was next to the toilet in the bathroom. There was no refrigerator or clock I was really disappointed. I have had a much better stay at the Holiday Inn.” Feb 26, 2007 by
Nicole from Indianapolis, IN
“This is a classy hotel for the price we paid. Front desk was well informed and accommodated us great. The snack machines had been taken out and the front desk sent us up a box to compensate which was is the best hospitality I have ever received. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.” Feb 20, 2007 by
Maria from Fort Wayne, IN
“We had 2 rooms. 2 adults and 2 children in one room and 1 adult and 3 child in another room. They had no double-bed rooms available. The kids had to sleep on floor. Room was very small. We asked for blankets they had none. They finally brought comforters for them to sleep on. Staff was not helpful. ” Feb 15, 2007 by
Meredith from Danville, IN
“We will be back!” Feb 14, 2007 by
Alyson from Bloomington, IN
“The staff was friendly, and the hotel was nice, possibly needing some updating and remodeling.” Feb 13, 2007 by
Cheri from Springfield, OH
“Overall, a great experience.” Jan 31, 2007 by
Bruce &. from Celina, OH
“We especially enjoyed our time in the pool and the hot tub.”
