“Hotel was in an excellent location for what I needed to do. Central Baton Rouge. Clean and roomy rooms. The Front Desk staff was cheerful and friendly.” Aug 17, 2008 by
William from Baton Rouge, LA
“This hotel is just disgusting. At night, the hotel is a popular hangout for swingers. The hotel caters to them. When I checked in at 10:00 pm, there were two men with two women each standing in the lobby making out and necking, in plain view of the security guard and the front-desk clerk. Smoking is allowed virtually everywhere, despite a Louisiana statewide ban on smoking. I've never seen anything like this in a hotel.” Aug 11, 2008 by
Jeff from Ridgeland, MS
“Nice desk, and the desk chair actually works! The hotel is right on I-10, so ask for a room in the back of the hotel. I-10 is very loud.” Jul 5, 2007 by
Frank from Lake Charles, LA
“Overall a good hotel. However, there was a convention going on during my stay. There were so many locals (people not staying at the hotel) attending the convention that every parking spot was taken at the hotel. The front desk clerk told me to check again there must be a spot in the lot! Very poor event planning on the part of the hotel management when a paying guest can't park at the hotel.” Jun 20, 2007 by
Jackie from Golden Meadow, LA
“I was on an overnight business trip with wall-mart; so I didn't really spend a long time there; but while I was there even during our meetings, the place was very comfortable; the staff was great; and I felt safe.” Dec 26, 2006 by
Scott from Columbia, SC
“Great location for shopping. Lsu & freeway access, and a great tex-mex restaurant (ninfa's) right next door. Staff was friendly - gym was very nice & a great running track around the lakes (2 & 4 mile) within a 2 minute drives. Highly recommend.” Sep 7, 2006 by
James from San Francisco, CA
“When I tried to grab a lightbulb from the maid's service tray one of your maid supervisors rebuked me about "helping myself", which I found unacceptable considering that I was trying to rectify a situation I shouldn't have encountered. The coffee stand for early morning risers is taken away much too soon, as are the donuts and pastries. The business center or "computer" was always busy; obviously there aren't enough computers to meet the demand. The air conditioner was too, too loud. I had difficulty sleeping. Something is definitely wrong with the machine. I believe I was in rm 346. The window doesn't open so you can't get fresh air, just the stinking air from the air conditioner which hasn't had its filters cleaned in ages.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 8, 2006 by

“The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, however, the room itself was disappointing. There were body fluid stains on the white comforter and the arm chair separated when sitting against the back of the chair. ” Apr 27, 2006 by
James from Longview, TX
“Location of hotel is good. Close to the university and convenient to downtown. Access by the main entrance is a bit tricky. Hotel is accessible from a rear entrance, but guests are not likely to know about this. While the hotel seemed to be repainting, the paint on the door to the room was not dry. The check-in and check-out was a disaster. The desk clerk was completely incompetent. Training was obviously insufficient.” Apr 19, 2006 by
Angela from Slidell, LA
“There was none of the amenities that were advertised on the internet. We were there for a wedding. The iron leaked rusty water all over my finance's white shirt. We asked for a trash can several times since there wasn't any daily maid service. The maid told us they would bring one because there was supposed to be two per room. Didn't happen! All and all the staff was very friendly. ” Mar 19, 2006 by
Phillip from Austin, TX
“Excellent location, easy to find, clean, quiet and highly customer-oriented staff. This facility had the best exercise equipment I have ever seen in a hotel. Highly recommend this facility, first-class!” Feb 27, 2006 by
John from New York, NY
“The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location by the noisy I-10 interstate is unfortunate, but otherwise this is a fine hotel.” Hotel Representatives:
