• Location was good. Liked nothing else. It was an awful experience!

“Dark, dated, no hot water and HVAC came on every 20 minutes. Never want to stay at Four Points by Marriott in Lexington KY again.”

• Lots of pillows on the bed!
• Bathroom electric outlet location meant that the coffee pot cord did not reach very well at all and was in the way.

“We had 2 lights out, one in the bathroom and the other in the floor lamp. Also, the remote to the
TV was not to be found; however, another was quickly brought to us after we called the front desk.”

• The staff was nice, attentive and the rooms were spacious, clean and well decorated.
• The carpet in the hallways, common areas and rooms were very stained and looked dirty.

• The clerk on front desk was helpful.
• Hotel was dirty; halls dirty too.

“Bad. Halls way had dirt and trash and were not cleaned the whole time we were there. Carpet was dirty and stained. Parking lot trashed. No coffee in room or in lobby.”

• Location was excellent, staff very polite and professional at all times.

“The staff was pleasant always. The AC did not work and they put me in an upgraded room on the next floor; they called me by name when I called the front desk. They accommodated me by taking me to the airport at 5 am. Just very professional staff and well dressed. Men wore suits, I was very impressed.

• The bed was very comfortable.
• The secondary hallway was dirty.

“Our check in process was wonderful, friendly staff. The AC in our room did not work. We alerted hotel staff and it took an hr for someone to look at it. Then he didn't bring any tools to fix it. He restarted it, but it still did not work. They finally replaced it while we were out (at least 7hrs after initial complaint, very hot in room). The hallway carpet was dirty.”

• The location in Kentucky horse country is beautiful.
• Fleas in room. Restaurant service was terrible.

“The Sheraton is located in one of the good parts of Lexington, Kentucky. It is close to Keene land and Calumet farms, as well as other beautiful horse farms. It is a fine business class hotel. The weak point is clearly the restaurant. Our experience was a limited menu and very poor service.”

• It was close to the highway and restaurants; staff was very helpful; bed was comfortable; TV was easy to use.
• Smelled musty; bad water stains in ceiling; didn't want to walk barefoot in room.

“The good - First impression of the lobby was that this was going to be a neat, clean place to stay. The staff recommended a great place for supper that was easy to drive to. They gave us a may of the Lexington area that was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable; we had adequate linens. The not so good- The entrance we used to get to our room had a fan blowing the carpet dry during our stay. The hallway and rooms had a musty smell and there were large water spots on the ceiling of our room. Toilet flushed very slowly.”

• It had a great Internet connection. Front desk staff was helpful in finding our Restaurant that we were going to.
• It didn't have a refrigerator.

• The rest of the employees. Cleanliness.

“The hotel was a non-smoking hotel but our room smelled of stale, musty smoke even though we requested a non-smoking room. Staff was comprised of mostly very young employees that were not very good at their jobs. Cathy was the only shinning light in that regard as she went out of her way to help us. Very understaffed as well. I actually had to unclog my own toilet at one point due to lack of help. Cleanliness of the halls and pool area was sub-par. Recreational equipment in common area was broken and malfunctioning. No air-conditioning in exercise room [used a construction air blower instead]. Very slow service at breakfast [understaffed]. This hotel might be OK for a business traveler but not for a family of 4 staying for a week. I will not be staying again.”

• Our toilet didn't flush good and you had to let the water run for 10 mins to get hot water.

• The drain in the tub was clogged. We did not realize this until the next morning.

“The hotel was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly. My only complaint was the tub drain was clogged. We did not find this out until the next morning. We reported the clogged to the front desk when we checked out. The clerk said they knew the drain was clogged and the maintenance man was notified on Sunday morning. I don't think they should have given us that room if they knew the drain was clogged.”

“The location of this hotel is perfect for a short stay. It is within walking distance of the Cracker Barrel and has an Italian themed restaurant in the hotel within the hotel. We would definitely recommend and stay there again.”

• The location was very handy and easy to get to.
• It looked old and well worn.

“It met our needs just fine, I would only rate it as a 2-star. The carpets in the hallway were definitely worn, with its age and stains being quite apparent. The lobby/front desk area was very nice, but the rooms/hallways were not as nice. It wasn't filthy by any means; just didn't meet up to a 3 star marking.”

• The outside door and room key readers were very sensitive to how the card was swiped.

“The room, a king, was similar to other hotel rooms. However, the bed was quite comfortable and the windows sealed well, preventing outside noise from intruding on rest. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Overall, this was a good value.”

• Very nice rooms and totally non smoking. Definite plus.
• Older and not remodeled on the outside, no ramp for the luggage carts but stairs on the lower level, breakfast was not worth the price.

“Comfortable and nice, well managed older hotel. All the rooms appear to be recently remodeled. The rooms were great and the indoor/outdoor pool was nice. The overall appearance of the hotel on the outside wasn't as good, but that doesn't matter as much to me. Enjoyed my stay!”

“Worst hotel I have every stayed at. Very dirty! Bugs dead and alive in hallways, doorways. Carpet looked like it had not been cleaned or sweep in weeks. Towels in room were torn and frayed with stains all over them. Our bedspreads had large stains on them. How this is a three star is beyond me. This hotel needs to be flattened.”

“Motel staff was less than helpful with this issue! Check in was at 3 PM we arrived at 4:30 PM and there were no wash cloths in the room! No spa! No hot tub, steam room, sauna, or massage service.”

• Love the comfortable beds - close to fast food & other restaurant.
• The only negative I saw was some of the exercise equipment wasn't super clean (had old sweat on it).

“Very nicely decorated - rooms are well supplied with soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc. Like that they give guests bottled water in their rooms - friendly staff.”

• All was very pleasant except for the pool being too cold for swimming. They had just filled it, so I could swim. Otherwise, good.
• Again, the Pool was too cold to swim.

“The people are friendly and their pizza from room service was absolutely GREAT! Again, I was disappointed that the pool was not warm enough for the Fourth of July celebration. I missed not having a small fridge. Otherwise, it was wonderful - great sleeping.”

• The hotel is somewhat worn could and it could use some updating and renovation. Bathroom was in disrepair and halls and ceilings needed some help.

• They allow pets so the rooms had an odd, strong smell from the deep-cleaning.

“Staff was friendly and lobby, pool and workout facilities were pleasant. Close to the freeway and the drive to Downtown Lexington is short and relatively easy. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Only issue is that the rooms had a peculiar odor because they deep-clean the carpets often since they allow pets. Bring a travel candle.”

• Location was great, there was a restaurant other that the hotel across the street and the staff was fantastic, very friendly.
• The pool was quite small, and appeared older and a little dirty.

“The Sheraton was very handy for us while traveling. We literally got off the interstate and the hotel was right there. They have a Waffle House right across the street, very easy to walk to, and a Cracker Barrel just a bit further, within eyeshot. We were very pleased with our stay, the beds were great, and the staff was outstanding.”

• Thick sheets, nice carpet, high speed internet that works, quiet.
• Room could have been cleaned better.

“This was a very nice hotel. The bedding was very expensive. Mattress was firm, sheets were thick and pillows were comfortable. High end toiletries and well appointed tastefully decorated room. One problem. When I pulled the end table between the beds back to check out an electrical plug I discovered to my surprise and horror a used condom. I didn't notify the management but figured that this type of thing is "tip of the iceberg".”
