“My wife and I were not looking for a lot of amenities due to our travels through New Mexico. The price was much more in line for what we were in New Mexico for and the hotel exceeded our expectations.” Oct 22, 2009 by
Becky from Mora,NM
“Had to remove the toilet lid to stop running after flushing. Holes is blackout shades. Tiles coming off the shower wall in 2 places. No fan in bathroom. Could not get shower to flow fully.” Oct 8, 2009 by
Meg from St. Louis,MO

“This hotel was very cozy and clean. Shuttle service was offered the first day, but not on the second due to the parade, which made for a long walk to and from the plaza.” Sep 15, 2009 by
Armando from Albuquerque,NM
“Overall experience was average. The room looked old, dated and had a musty smell to it. It was good for the price, I guess. I usually stay in 3.5-4 star hotels and expect the same from 3 star hotels. However, this is more like a 2.5 star. I wouldn't recommend it for a vacation stay.” Jul 15, 2009 by
Joyce from Dover,NJ
“The location was not ideal or very close to the plaza. The pillow were hard. It was not friendly at all.” Mar 2, 2009 by
Arthur from Durango,CO
“Dated to the point of being tacky. Trees were topped - so they were very unattractive and will die or are already dead. Mouse trap was visible when got out of car. Internet did not work during entire stay. Contacted hotel's tech support who confirmed that it was the hotel's problem. Hotel did not address it during stay and gave conflicting info re: staff. Very disappointing stay. Restaurant was closed. Staff was poor.” Feb 23, 2009 by
Catherine from Abilene,TX
“Great location and nice getaway!” Oct 16, 2008 by
Tamar
“Nice pool, friendly service, not quite ready for primetime and definitely not near the Plaza, which makes a big difference as there is only one cab company in town.” Oct 12, 2008 by
Angela
“Hotel lobby staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations.” Sep 28, 2008 by
Don
“Hotel was pretty nice. Amenities of most hotels not found here such as news paper. Complimentary breakfast and internet. Overall it was just an ok.

“Arrived on holiday, weekend and there was a wedding going on. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. Thought we would hear a lot of noise front the wedding party, but it was quiet. Our room was clean and had an Indian-southwest theme. It was very clean and the bathroom condiments were really nice. We had to walk far for ice as there is only 1 ice machine in the hotel. The grounds were very well kept and the pool area although we did not get a chance to use it was beautiful. We had 2 excellent meals from the restaurant and a free Sunday am paper. Location was great for getting to the Santa fe shopping as well as getting around to many things we were interested in seeing in the area. We had a great experience.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Mary J. from Russell, KY
“It was a pleasant experience. Close to the Plaza in Santa Fe.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Martha from Great Falls, MT
“Would not return due to continued problems with internet which was an additional charge even though it was supposed to be included.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Karen from Redlands, CA
“We have stayed here several times when it was a Radisson. It is now the Lodge at Santa Fe and has undergone a big renovation. The outside looks beautiful; our rooms were exactly the same as before, old carpet, etc. It's fine if you're not going to be in the room much. They did have WiFi for $5.95 for the entire stay, which is pretty amazing. We've paid up to $15 per day in other places around the country.” Jul 10, 2008 by
Tom from Green Valley, AZ
“This hotel should not be rated in the 3 to 3 and half star category. The uncomfortable beds, bad AC (even when they got it to work it did not balance the room temperature) and no ventilation in the bathrooms which really was surprising to me. I thought it was a building code in the us to have ventilation in the bathrooms. Needs upgrades.” Jul 3, 2008 by
Jay from Albany, TX
“Avoid this hotel. The location is not any better than those on Cerrillos Road, which are newer and better priced. If you want to be near the Plaza, this is not the hotel for you.” May 12, 2008 by
Dan from Berkaley, CA
“I did not like the location - description is a little off. I wanted a hotel near the plaza - this hotel is about 1.5 miles from the Plaza, however, it is on the other side of the highway and one needs to drive to the plaza.” May 8, 2008 by
Mel from Laguna Beach, CA
“Very convenient for all down town locations with good parking and relatively close to freeway access.” Apr 27, 2008 by
Mom from Framingham, MA
“Great location for those traveling into and out of Santa Fe. Also great location for runners, walkers or bike riders who want to get out before breakfast. Beautiful view from restaurant. Rocking' bar at night for those interested, but quiet in other parts of hotel. Close enough to Alburquerque airport. Nice pool and hot tub. Enjoy!” Apr 24, 2008 by
Jody from Gallup, NM
“I loved the rustic look of the room; I don't like rustic to extend to my toilet paper. No HBO on TV. I watched regular TV until I couldn't take the commercials any more. They put a loud toddler on the third floor above my room. I go to relax, not to listen to someone's child - yelling, screaming and running. I asked for a 7:00 a.m. Wake up call. Didn't happen. However, the toddler worked well for that purpose at 7:30 a.m. They did have a good breakfast, but the menu misleading. Poor ventilation - the smoke in the halls was almost as bad as a casino.” Apr 21, 2008 by
David from Colorado Springs, CO
“Will stay somewhere else next time.” Apr 15, 2008 by
Renea from Henderson, NV
“The front desk was very accommodating; however, I only stayed one night instead of two because the pool and spa were both under renovation. When we ask about the bar we were told that the bartender had not called and was not there for the shift so the bar was closed.” Apr 4, 2008 by
Karen from Denver, CO
“Our initial room was small, quite average, and the tub didn't hold water. After speaking with the manager, we moved to a nicer room, but the phone didn't work. Although the manager was helpful, the staff was marginal at best. This hotel would probably be great for a business travel who's not looking for amenities.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Mazey from Albuquerque, NM
“This hotel is within 10 minutes of old town in Santa Fe. It is an old Radisson hotel that has been remodeled. If you get a room in the lower level, then it feels like a basement and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. I would rather pay more to sleep comfortably and not haul my bags down stairs with no elevator service to lower level.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Leonard from Lamar, CO
“Nice, but hot tub was out of order as was one of the ice machines---had to walk a long distance back to the lobby area to obtain ice. Did not have soap in our room--had to ask for that plus more clean glasses -- only two in room; should have been 4. Housekeepers not in tune with details.” Apr 2, 2008 by
David from Reno, NV
“This hotel does not deserve a 3 star rating. There were no bath products (at all) in the room. I asked housekeeping for some and all they were able to provide was some shampoo the 1st night. The 2nd night, they provided the usual bath products: soap, shampoo & conditioner.” Mar 30, 2008 by
Gerry from Ithaca, NY
“This hotel was outstanding for our needs. We liked it so much that we extended our stay from 3 to 4 days, paying the rack rate for the day. Free shuttle service to Downtown avoided parking hassle and charges. The room was outstanding as was the staff. Their dining recommendations were excellent.” Mar 20, 2008 by
Amber from Choctaw, OK
“Wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly. In fact, when I called to confirm my reservation several days before check-in they upgraded my room upon request so that I could have a mini-fridge and microwave. Hot tub was nice and the hotel is located close to Downtown and provides easy access to the ski basin. I would definitely stay again!” Mar 16, 2008 by
Jim from Plano, TX
“Clean, comfortable, good housekeeping service, very quiet. Easy to reach the Downtown plaza.” Mar 4, 2008 by
Barbara from Middleton, WI
“Lovely hotel, good views, friendly staff. Only drawback for us was that you couldn't easily walk to the center of Santa Fe.” Feb 23, 2008 by
Michael from Mentor, OH
“My wife and I enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet in the evening and since it was February there were not many guests. The pool is outdoors so it was covered and not in use. When I was looking for ice one of the hotel workers saw me and told me that he would get the ice for me. This was very nice and unexpected.” Feb 22, 2008 by
Larry from Sonoma, CA
“Hotel is not within walking distance of Downtown, rooms are Spartan and unattractive. Heater was broken, tub wouldn't hold water, missing table lamps, in short, and no place would you want to stay!” Jan 29, 2008 by
Bill from Albuquerque, NM
“I'm a frequent Santa Fe visitor, and like to stay in the Plaza area to walk to my favorite restaurants and sites. It took me over a half an hour to walk to the Plaza.” Jan 3, 2008 by
Ken from Aurora, CO
“The pictures looked great online but when we arrived it was an older property. The front desk people were nice and even sent a bottle of champagne because it was our anniversary trip. From there on it was a nightmare. The room was dirty - Cheats under the edge of the bed, hallways were dirty. Some of the hotel provided toiletries had been partially used and not replaced. The next morning we had a cold water shower. We heard others complain at the front desk. The front desk gave us a card for a free breakfast for not having hot water but we sat for 45 minutes (30 of which with nothing to even drink) while others were served and left and we got no service even when we sought out the manager. We fi8NAlly gave up and left. A total waste of our money and a bad way to end the last night of our 26th wedding anniversary trip.” Dec 5, 2007 by
Emily from Albuquerque, NM
“We enjoyed our stay. We had a drink at the bar and breakfast at the restaurant, which were both experiences. The room was comfortable but wasn't as sound-proof as I would have liked. And the pillows were too small. I would stay here again. Convenient location in the middle of Santa Fe.” Nov 1, 2007 by
Joel from Brighton, CO
“The lodge, although "nice", did not meet our expectations. Our room had few amenities (no safe, fridge, etc.), the walls were thin we could hear everything next door, the ice machine down the hall rumbled and leaked continuously, and walking to the plaza, although possible, was a stretch. The room was clean and presentable, although the bathroom, though updated, felt only merely acceptable. The hot tub was very nice, and we found the outdoor fireplace a wonderful place to sit and chat in the evenings. We will not stay here again since our objective was to be within easy walking distance of the plaza.” Nov 1, 2007 by
Art A. from Lakeside, AZ
“Your 3 star rooms are to have premium TV, and ducted air conditioning. This room did not. You cheated me.” Oct 8, 2007 by
Joan from Macungie, PA
“Very nice basic hotel. Clean and western looking hotel room. Would have liked more information in the lobby about what to do and what was going on in town.” Oct 3, 2007 by
Elizabeth (. from Fort Collins, CO
“This is a nice hotel and met most of our needs. We did not like the cigarette smoke smell of the room and requested new linens/pillows, which were provided on the second day. These hotel needs a bit of tlc, pigeons are starting to nest on balconies, bathtubs and beds need replacing. You cannot walk to the plaza from this hotel and anyone who has traveled to Santa fee would not consider this in proximity to the plaza. Very disappointing. However, the surroundings of this hotel are beautiful and it was pleasant to drive up to the hotel after each day.” Sep 23, 2007 by
Maureen from Greenwood Village, CO
“We liked this hotel very much. We have stayed at many of the upscale hotels in Santa Fe. This room was nice and larger. In Santa Fe many rooms are small in the old historic hotels. This was much more spacious. The pool area was lovely. You would likely need a car but we drove to Santa Fe so that was not ever an issue. There was a shuttle to the plaza. Even then it was a 5 minute drive to all the restaurants and plaza. Parking was easy at the hotel as opposed to some of the plaza hotels. Plus it was included not an extra cost. Downtown you often pay for parking. I had read some warm reviews on the hotel because it was not right in town but I liked the hotel more than some where I have stayed before in Santa Fe. My husband liked it more than most of the other places we have stayed over the last 10 years. All and all it made for a nice vacation. I think he would choose this over the others in the future. A good value for the price we paid.” Sep 20, 2007 by
Paul from Chicago, IL
“The room they gave us was unfit for habitation. The lock was broken, the lamp was out, there was no information about the hotel's facilities in the room, and there were bedbugs. It took 4 complaints (twice on the phone and twice in person at the desk) and until 12:30 am (we checked in at 5:30) before they finally moved us to a different room, which was perfectly fine for the rest of our stay. But the experience was extremely unpleasant and left us unable to sleep the first night and very upset with the management of the hotel.” Sep 19, 2007 by
Kathy from San Angelo, TX
“This hotel would be perfect except it is not within walking distance of the plaza as was advertised and it took 3 calls to get a light bulb replaced, the hair dryer didn't work, and I never got coffee/tea replacements even after 2 calls.” Sep 18, 2007 by
Ryan from Albuquerque, NM
“The lodge at Santa Fe would be fine for a business traveler. The hotel has free wireless internet which was great. The swimming pool was nice. But not really worth the money for a leisure traveler; the rooms are small, the lobby is very simple and its not within walking distance of the plaza. Its also a little hard to find when driving there for the first time.” Sep 18, 2007 by
Michael from Atlanta, GA
“I did like the personnel they were friendly, but the kitchen staff was very poor.” Sep 9, 2007 by
Richard from Swansea, MA
“This is not a 3 star hotel. It offers so much potential, but it has so many minor downsides such as, roosting pigeons and their droppings, absence of chairs on the deck, a mattress that had seen its day, patio door and window jams that appeared to have been kicked in, etc. The hotel has so much potential, but since the devil is in the details, it's difficult to rank the facility highly.” Sep 5, 2007 by
Donald from San Antonio, TX
“We had to inspect three rooms before we settled for a handicap room with no dead bolt. The food was bad, the front desk was inattentive, there was no manager on for a holiday weekend, there was a rusted refrigerator in our parking space, there were no lights in the parking area. I am writing a formal letter the hotel corporate chain to complain.” Aug 27, 2007 by
Betty from Alhambra, CA
“We had a pleasant stay and would recommend to our friends. Also, the fact that this hotel host the Maria Benitez flamenco show was great. I only wish I was told ahead of time that this hotel had a free shuttle to one of hotels in the historic district.” Aug 21, 2007 by
Dennis from Denver, CO
“I have stayed at this hotel three times - the first time it was a newly-opened Sheraton, the second a Ramada, and now a member of a small chain. The location is convenient for both the opera and the plaza - it's a far better location than anywhere on Cerrillos Road, from which you have to fight Santa Fe's terrible traffic and traffic signals (which are painfully slow!) to go almost anywhere. Nice views and attractive public spaces. The rooms are pleasant, but the air conditioning needs to be updated or replaced. The staff is pleasant and accommodating.” Aug 21, 2007 by
Richard from Omaha, NE
“Noisy and far from the Plaza.”
