• The location was perfect for what we needed to accomplish - see the university.
• AC did not work well and unit rattled at night.

“There was a large water damage stain above the bed closest to the window. Staff did not ask if we needed anything - had to ask for maps, directions, and they chatted a lot with each other behind the desk more than they spoke with customers.”

• Great access to University community.
• Not a lot of selection from Applebee's for breakfast and not enough wait staff.

• No business center.

“How a Radisson can operate without a business center is shocking and very inconvenient. Location of hotel was good and room was clean. Select Comfort mattress was the worst I have ever slept on. I cannot recommend this hotel.”

• The staff, the comfort, the location outstanding for us!
• Food options were limited.

“We were there for Christmas. I was there with my 8 year old and she enjoyed our place except the sleep member bed that was stated in the hotel info was not in that specific room. She had a hard time with this; I thought the beds were great anyway.”

• Staff was very friendly, sleep number bed was great.
• The bottom of the tub was plastic and flexed while we showered. It was very uncomfortable, almost to the point of Nausea. This definitely needs to be.

• I liked the sleep number bed and the sumptuous bedding.
• The room was small.

“This hotel is conveniently located on the UMN Campus and is connected to Applebees restaurant. The bedding is beautiful and the sleep number bed makes for a restful night. This was an excellent value the money.”

“Nice but impossible to find, only one road leads to it and its a mystery how to access it. It's on Washington St, there are 3 Downtown, and the most obscure one across the river goes to the hotel.”

• Good location for university of Minnesota visitors.
• Additional $10 per night to self park (more for valet), additional charge for newspaper, no breakfast.

“The hotel was very nice. My only disappointment with the physical qualities of the hotel was that the lowest setting on the thermostat kept the room quite uncomfortably warm. I had to keep the window wide open and sleep with just a sheet over me. This while the temperature outside was hovering at 30 degrees Fahrenheit. It should be noted that they do not offer any complementary items. There is no continental breakfast, something that even lower rated hotels generally offer. They will also charge you an extra $0.70 per day for newspapers unless you specifically decline them when you check in.”

• The hotel is very convenient to the university and the reason I was staying in Minneapolis.
• I had to pay for parking.

• The staff was friendlily and helpful and the place was always clean.
• There was road construction around the hotel, making it more difficult to find.

“I was able to get a room for a very good price. The staff were very helpful in giving me directions (via map quest print outs), which made it a little easier for this country girl to Navigate the big city. My only two qualms about my stay was the fact that there was road construction in the area and no road signs for many of the surrounding side roads. Also the parking lot for the hotel is on um property and I had to pay ten dollars per day to park my car.”

• Good bed and bedding.
• Could use some update.

“We just needed a place to stay and shower while the bathroom at home was being worked on. The staff is friendly and energetic. Other than the totally awesome bed, the hotel itself has seen better days. Not at all bad for the price, however!”

“This hotel is okay. Great location if you are visiting the university of Minnesota, but there are many better hotels in the twin cities. Staff attitude was only fair.”

• I enjoyed the campus location. It's actually called the University Radisson and not the Radisson Metro dome!
• Beds were old and not comfortable; showers were poor.

“I enjoyed the accommodations and would return but not at night. I really enjoyed the campus setting and the overall "neighborhood". It should be noted this is NOT by the Metro dome but actually on the University of Minnesota campus!”

• Free Top Notch Fitness Facility within walking distance.

“Rooms are good, nothing special. Nice location for easy access to restaurants and fitness facility. Free Internet. Stayed one night and during my stay booked another 2 nights stay but was told I would have to leave as the hotel was overbooked. It left me with a no-so-good feeling to be kicked out even with a reservation.”
