Deena from Onalaska,WY “This hotel was easy to find with nice, clean rooms. Also, the restaurant had excellent food. The negative is that they should have had more staff on duty since the hotel was full. I would stay here again.” Oct 9, 2009 by
Bruce from Watertown,SD “When we got to the hotel they had no room for us. We were very disappointed. They sent us to a low-classed Super 8.” Sep 19, 2009 by
Jodi from Sioux Falls,SD
“Okay, nothing special but for the price we paid great. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. You could barely close the door to get around to the shower/tub! Carpet in hallway to pool was very loose and bumps were all over making it very easy to trip. I was glad I didn't have extremely small children.” Sep 8, 2009 by
Linda from Milwaukee,WI
“Terrible it is, even worse than the last time we were there. 3 different names in 2 years tells you a lot. since you cannot see the location and they have changed their name so often I have been stuck with this hotel 3 times. No air conditioning that worked, TV did not work properly they finally came to fix it at 9pm. restaurant way over price.” Jul 2, 2009 by
Susannah from Greencastle,IN
“Thought it was simply decorated, but quite comfortable and clean. Restaurant quality limited.” May 20, 2009 by
Carolyn from Duluth,MN
“Overall I was pleased with the rooms given to me. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend to friends and family.” May 19, 2009 by
Susan from Brainerd,MN
“We found the bathroom had not been properly inspected and informed to manager. No explanation given.” May 18, 2009 by
Sharon from Middleton,WI “I would not recommend this hotel. Clearly it was designed as a large business/conference hotel. But it is long past its prime and badly in need of refurbishing.” Mar 31, 2009 by
Karen L. Mays from Wells,MN
“The hotel appeared clean but a bit worn (I'm thinking of the carpet and door in the room.)” Mar 30, 2009 by
Tim from Bartlett,IL
“While this Sheraton was clean, and friendly, just did not measure up to higher quality.” Mar 19, 2009 by
Jacki from Baudette,MN
“Convienent location from downtown, great food, nice clean & attractive rooms, helpful and great staff.” Feb 4, 2009 by
Larry from Mcfarland,WI
“The Hotel has spacious rooms that are clean and have all the amenities you need. It had a restaurant and lounge that I did not use but looked nice. Hotel is in a decent location with easy access to the interstate and about 4 miles north of the University of MN campus.” Jan 1, 2009 by
Rick from Isanti,MN
“In general staff was really good, called a cab for us and let us us pool and hot tub past closing. Lobby had a fire place and was decorated nicely. Overall had a nice stay.” Dec 8, 2008 by
John from Thunder Bay,Canada
“I was pleased with the hotels cleanlyness and staff. I was displeased with the location of it.” Dec 5, 2008 by
Mary from Vermillion,SD
“The front desk staff was so helpful. They selected a great room for us. The restaurant was reasonably priced and very good. Plus the staff was so friendly. We will definitely go back.” Nov 28, 2008 by
Phil from Marion,IA
“We arrived at the hotel around 4 pm and they said there were not any rooms available at that time. So we left and came back later. When we arrived back they said all there were king rooms. So we took one of those. After about 10 minutes of waiting they finally said there was a room with 2 double beds. We went to the room and there was a tarp laid down all over the floor because there were repairing a hole in the wall. We went back to the front desk and they gave us another room with 2 double beds. When we got to the room, there was only 1. The clerk at the front desk definitely was in over his head. The hotel was not well kept. The walls were peeling and the carpet was coming up. It was a place I would definitely not stay at again or recommend to other visitors. Sorry” Nov 20, 2008 by
Jackie from Alexandria,VA
“A very nice, comfortable hotel with all of the amenities. Clean room and nice common spaces. Convenient to restaurants and other shopping. Not as close to downtown as hoped, but still a short (less than 5 mile) drive.” Nov 17, 2008 by
Patricia from Kirkland,WA
“This hotel is in transition. The staff is friendly. Restaurant is very good. Bed is comfortable. Carpet need to be changed throughout...the creases are a hazard. The pool, Jacuzzi and exercise room are well maintained. I wanted to be near the Hennepin County Medical Center and this was not that close. Next time I would try a downtown location.” Nov 9, 2008 by
Scott from Jenks,OK
“This hotel was horrible. The room was filthy with stains on the walls and curtains. I called down to the front desk and complained. They gave me a different room, but it was the same. The bathtub was so dirty I wore sandals to take a shower. Sheraton should be embarrassed to have their name on this hotel. I have stayed in nicer Motel 6's than this.” Oct 27, 2008 by
Bill
“Second time at this hotel and not as good as the first. Service was very spotty. Restaurant staff and one van driver was excellent, two van drivers and maid service were poor. My room was fine, my co-workers room needed maintenance. Not good if this is a trend.

“This hotel was in great need of repair. It was the shabbiest Sheraton I've been in. Beds were comfortable, pool nice and lobby was nice. Rooms dirty and halls really bad.” Oct 14, 2008 by
Pat
“Close to out destination, clean with great beds.” Oct 9, 2008 by

“Great for the short stay we were there.” Oct 8, 2008 by

“The location of the hotel was convenient off the freeway, but a few miles from downtown Minneapolis, our destination. The accommodations in the room were clean and comfortable, but I would have liked an easy chair for reading by the window and lamp rather than sitting on the bed to read. We ate supper at the hotel restaurant; the food was tasty, reasonably priced, and the waitress was friendly and accommodating.

“The only positive parts about this hotel were the comfortable beds. Though really, they were double beds, so we still slept in separate beds, which was very annoying. The hotel is inconveniently located several miles away from anything interesting. It's literally in the middle of a big industrial area - trains and trucks. That's all you'll see here. There aren't even any other hotels in this area, so there are very few restaurants and no bars anywhere nearby. There's a Wendy's across the street from the hotel and a Holiday station. That's it. The whole hotel reeks of air freshener. It smells like a giant apple cinnamon candle, and is quite disturbing to the senses. The worst part is the smell that comes back when the air freshener wears off. The carpet through the whole building is bubbling, and it's very easy to trip over it. The decor is dark and outdated, and it looks like it hasn't been cleaned thoroughly in ages. The business center in the lobby is just a computer in the middle of everything; there's no quiet or privacy to actually work from the business center. I will never stay at this hotel again.” Sep 18, 2008 by

“I would stay at this hotel again. The front desk staff was helpful and my room was clean. The hotel is primary for business travelers and for football fans in town to see a Vikings game. It cost me $15 plus tip to take a taxi from downtown Minneapolis to the hotel because the shuttle driver forgot to pick me up. Even though I had scheduled a pick up and had directly spoken to him in the morning. He even had given me his direct cell number in case I wanted to be picked up earlier than my scheduled time. Don't count on the shuttle if that is your primary way of going and coming from Minneapolis. The shuttle service needs to improve.” Sep 18, 2008 by

“The rooms' decor were kind of cheap, the bedding was nice, but the walls were either dirty or quite old, the bathroom was not clean and through the 3 days I was there the cleaning staff did not do any cleaning other than replacing the soap. On one day they didn't even make the bed. The bath tubs were very grimy and seemed either so old that they couldn't be cleaned or just an effort wasn't done to clean them. Asked to change rooms on the first night because of the tub only to be changed to a room with the same dirtiness. The hallways wall were dirty and always filled with a musty smell, and it took them 2 days to clear peoples room service and food from the hallway. This hotel was stated downtown but it is not, it is in an industrial park and if you don't have a car good luck getting around, no airport shuttle, and cab cost at least $40. Overall I do not recommend this hotel.” Sep 17, 2008 by

“Great place to stay. The rooms are extremely comfortable and upscale. The bed, pillows and bedding were very nice and greatly enhanced my stay.

“Clean and easy to get to and from where we needed to go.” Sep 6, 2008 by
Gail from Fargo, ND
“I liked the location as we were going to the state fair. Although the hotel didn't offer a shuttle service to the fair, we drove to a park and ride about 3 miles away.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Guito from Winnipeg, MB CA
“It needs more color and new carpet.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Nina from Moorhead, MN
“This hotel was okay. It was worth a lower cost and was a good basic place to stay but not a good place for spending a lot of time. It's location is very convenient for travel in Minneapolis or St. Paul. Overall, it was a good experience but not outstanding.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Linda from Richmond, MN
“We had a nice stay at the hotel up until we had maintenance try to get in our room as someone said their key did not work for their room. The room they were referring to was our room. It was very scary waking up at 11:00 pm to see a wire under our door trying to get at the handle on our door to open it. We were very upset and did not get a great night sleep. We did immediately call the front desk as we thought someone was trying to get in and did not know it was maintenance. All the hotel had to say about this was 'sorry'. I would recommend a protocol for identification before opening anyone's room. So the stay was not too great!” Sep 3, 2008 by
Leeann from Saginaw, MN
“Good stay and price. Thank you!” Sep 3, 2008 by
Sandy from Brookfield, WI

Lori “The bus shuttle stopped right across the street, making it very convenient getting to and from the State Fair.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Sophie from Bemidji, MN
“We have stayed at the 4 Point Sheraton numerous times over the past years. We have always loved the location and been happy with our rooms. However, the hotel needs an update. It's worn and tired! A 3 star rating doesn't reflect this hotel compared to others we've stayed in.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Ted from Chilton, WI
“We were very disappointed with this hotel and shouldn't be a 3*. We'd rate this at 2* max. They left us with a king bed for 4 people, didn't bring us extra linens after requesting it. The carpet was stained & torn. Overall we were very disappointed, to the point that we forfeited our 2nd night and drove home the 5 hours rather than spending another night here. Terrible!” Sep 1, 2008 by
Jim from Saint Charles, IL
“Pool & workout areas were closed, lots of renovations going on during stay.” Aug 31, 2008 by
Karon from Madison, WY
“We were moving our son into UM housing and this was a very convenient location. Hotel is nicer on the inside than appears on the outside. Rooms are very comfortable. Our first floor room was very comfortable but could easily hear talking in hallway even when door closed. Hall carpeting does need re-stretching. Would stay here again.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Mike from Moorhead, MN
“Nice room, near shopping and the U of MN.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Lynn from Kensal, ND
“The carpet in the halls and the rooms needs to be replaced. Also we had kids with us that wanted to swim and could not due to remodeling.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Renee from New York, NY
“The staff was helpful and friendly, but things were falling apart in the room. The pool was broken (which is why I chose the hotel) and there was no compensation. A free breakfast or drink would have sufficed.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Courtney from Breckenridge, MN
“This was a beautiful hotel, there were some maintenance things that could've been fixed. Some dirty areas in the room and the bathroom was quite small.”
