• It was clean and facilities were easily accessible.
• Breakfast would have been better with higher quality dishes.

• The location was convenient for our purposes.
• No criticisms.

“We were at the hotel a short time (from 9:00 pm to 11:00 am the next morning). The room was clean. The beds were very comfy and attractive. We would stay here again if we return to Paducah.”

• The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and they gave me enough pillows!
• They didn't give conditioner in the room. The breakfast room was way too small for all the people trying to eat breakfast.

“This was a nice hotel and met our expectations of the star level. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and had variety. The staff was friendly.”

• Very clean, high ceilings, big room, fridge & microwave in room.
• Nothing.

“Wonderful large rooms with fridge and microwave and very clean. A pleasure to stay in. The free continental breakfast is better than usual with options such as sausage, biscuits with gravy and hard boiled eggs in addition to the usual yogurt, fruit, breads and cereals. The indoor pool has a lot of windows (that can be opened) so it almost feels outdoor-like (instead of dank and dark like indoor pools usually are).”

• It had a homey appearance and feel in the interior.
• There weren't any sidewalks to get to local restaurants.

“Easy to find. Nice room. Nice pool and breakfast area. Staff was not unfriendly but just didn't say much. This was true of the morning staff. The staff later in the day was fine.”

“My reservation was not in their system, but was accommodated immediately and politely. Rooms were a nice size, loved that they were non-smoking. A very nice hotel. Housekeeping lacked a little-that's my biggest complaint.”

• There was not one thing that displeased me during this stay!

“Staff was excellent, polite, and helpful. Location great, near shopping, restaurants, highways, and not far from downtown. Rooms spacious and very clean. Breakfast was included and very good! Included waffles, sausages, bagels etc. Includes indoor pool and small exercise room. This was a great value. Although it is not a "luxury" hotel, it was far above other medium class places I have stayed. Definitely would return to this hotel if I am in the area.”

• Room carpet had been freshly cleaned by not dry yet upon arrival, wet feet if not wearing shoes.

“Excellent staff ready to assist unseasoned solo traveler, super clean accommodations, "continental" breakfast better than most, would stay there again and recommend to any one needing accommodations that this is one to use.”

“The hotel was convenient to the highway, although tucked back off a side street so a little hard to find. The should put the freeway exit number (4) in the listing. It is surrounded by many eateries and places to shop. It is only 6 miles from Metropolis, Il. The hotel was clean and nicely appointed, similar to my other experiences in Country Inn and Suites. The security seemed good and the room was quiet. Staff was helpful and friendly.”

• The hotel was very family oriented, and I liked that no smokers were allowed.

“The hotel is very family oriented; it even had a nice selection of children's book available. The complimentary breakfast buffet was better than expected also. The hotel was conveniently located off the main highway but was a little hard to find because there were no obvious street signs.”

• Nice quiet rooms. Air conditioning very comfortable. Clean pool and exercise room.
• Hotel cleaning staff did not leave the complimentary coffee and soap on two occasions on the 3 night stay.

“Everything seemed to be alright until someone on the cleaning staff helped themselves to snacks and cold drinks in a cooler in the room. Someone had the nerve to open a Lays Brand stax tube of potato chips and help themselves. I let the front desk know about it and they did offer to replace the drinks but I figured that if they would open the chips on their own, what would stop them from going through our personal belongings. It's a nice hotel but the cleaning staff took something away from the enjoyment.”

• hotel smelled like strong air freshener and room was "smoking" and I don't smoke

“Overall, I was pleased with the price. There was no wireless internet service or in-room movies and the room smelled like smoke which I did not like. I believe it was acceptable considering the price was less than I expected. I did hate the smoke smell though which was covered up by strong air freshener.”
