• Very clean.
• The young girl who checked us in was not very pleasant.

“Over-all we had a very nice stay. The hotel was very clean, very reasonable, great location. The one young girl working was not very helpful or friendly, felt like she thought we were a nuisance. And somehow we got charged by the hotel. Then when we called the hotel to resolve the issue, they gave us the run around and kept asking us to call back later. Priceline said that they would fix it for us and for that we are grateful. Thank you so much.”

• It was close to the highway.
• Very poor service.

“The room I got was not clean. The carpet looked as if it had not been cleaned in a year. In the bathroom there were items left by the previous guest. When I contact the front desk, they were very slow to respond to this issue. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• The hotel pool was a wonderful temperature both in and outdoors.
• Would have like an ice machine on the same floor but nothing we did not like.

“The hotel was conveniently situated to local stores. The room was tastefully decorated and the swimming pool was fabulous. The temperature of the pool was really nice. It was possible to swim from the indoor pool to the outdoor pool where the temperature was still great. Swimming outdoors in Michigan, in October, was a real treat! The complimentary breakfast was also very nice, plenty of choices.”

• For the price, it was a great.
• We did not know about the free buffet breakfast at breakfast.

“The hotel was good except for the fact we were not told about the breakfast buffet and ordered room service which took a while because the wrong phone #s were listed in the guest book. The worst thing about the hotel we had placed the do not disturb sign on our door the next morning we had to listen to the housekeeper yelling down the hallway to co-workers about how she had to get into our room to make up the bed. The housekeeper literally stood outside of our room for about one half to one hour talking, very annoying. We couldn't have an intimate moment if we wanted to. Upon leaving the room she had a pile of candy rappers outside our door on the floor where she stood forever eavesdropping.”

• Decent pool, right off the freeway, clean rooms.
• Continental breakfast quality was fair at best. Elevators showing wear.

“Overall good value. Mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. Competent staff. Decent indoor/outdoor pool. Free breakfast left something to be desired.”

• Nothing - the hotel was great.

“The check-in process was efficient and quick. The room was clean and had all for the essentials. The breakfast the next morning was adequate. The facilities (pool, gym and internet) were well maintained and clean. The staff was able to accommodate our requests.”

• The bed was the most comfortable.
• There was an old smoky smell in the carpet.

“My hotel stay was great. The bed was awesome. So comfortable. The room was neat and clean (except that smoky smell) and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant I was not pleased with. My waitress was really nice but we waited an hour for our food. And my meal was ok. I will stay at the hotel again but I will not eat there.”

• I was happy to have the options for internet at a reasonable cost, the free breakfast bar and accommodations that were teen friendly.
• The room was difficult to cool, the AC was not on.

• Very comfortable beds and the "little things" example free mints, free bottle of water, beautiful bathroom arrangement.
• At times the hot tub is not hot (I have stayed here several times).

“This hotel is in a great location near restaurants and a good shopping mall. I am so comfortable in this room. The beds are super comfortable, I love the unique pillows. I really appreciate all the little freebies example: mints, bottle of water, chocolates, hearty breakfast.”

• Renovations of hotel made it very nice.
• Breakfast 'buffet' poor, food was cold.

“We were pleasantly surprised; they have done an excellent renovation. The indoor/out pool was enjoyable however the breakfast was mediocre at best. It was in a Damon's, which is not for terrific ribs at dinnertime. The food was lukewarm. The coffee was advertised as Seattle's best, it was not their coffee. Coffee in the room was better! Staff was very polite and unobtrusive.”

• Extremely convenient off freeway, and has free wire-less internet.
• Dirty, dingy, run down, sheets were itchy, coffee maker was dirty, pool area dirty.

“I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. The sheets were itchy, the pool area was dirty and not taken care of, the room was not very clean, coffee maker was dirty and coffee tasted so bad could not drink, outrageously prices movies/reruns of series episodes/etc. Requested disposable razor which was never received, made to check out at desk, did not receive free breakfast that other guests received, kids knocked on doors and pranked room, 7 kids in hot tub while I was using it, although it is prohibited for children to use it, dirty towels covered floor of pool area and hamper was overflowing. Need I go on?”

“This hotel was certainly not at the same star rating as Four Point Sheraton. Carpet, paint, floors, tubs, etc. were all run down. Smelled and wasn't in a good part of town.”

“The overall experience was good. At other hotels I have stayed at they allow you to make some toast to have with your breakfast, there was no choice of breads here, there was some small scones-this has been the same menu when I stayed there in November.”

• I enjoyed the bed and pillows they were very comfortable.
• The room was a bit small and our keyboard did not work.

“Overall nice. It didn't wow me but it was nice. We went at the same time as a pet show so it was crowded with animals on the elevators. The continental breakfast was skimpy. The staff was friendly. We only received one room key, two might have been nice. The room was clean big plus.”

• Clean , comfortable, and safe hotel in good location.
• Noisy with kids running in the halls, thin walls.

“This hotel is convenient to stay at just off the freeway, good for business travel. The rooms are comfortable with nice pillows and linens, good Wi-Fi access for laptop computers in the rooms. Also have a good computer and printer in the business room. The exercise room is fair but limited, one bike, treadmill, and a broken stair stepper. The breakfast coupon to Daemons breakfast buffet was great, nice hot food selection and friendly service. Overall a good experience despite the noisy children running in the hallways until 11 pm. We would go back to this hotel.”

“I checked in at 4:30 p.m. and the room was not ready. I checked back in at 8:00 p.m., room still not ready. Got keys to room at 8:30 p.m. I was going to a wedding the next day and asked if I could have a late check-out. They said no because the room was booked for somebody else. They never offered an apology or anything.”

• I loved the location. It was near shopping and restaurants. It was near the highway but not noisy. I loved the duvet on the bed.
• Only complaint is that I went for a hot tub and the water was Luke warm.

• The room service from the restaurant was poor and the food was served with plastic forks and knifes not to good for prime rib.

• We were disappointed that the staff took down the breakfast so fast and would not let us have the rolls because it was 5 minutes after 10 a.m.

• The bed in the room was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on! My wife agrees no joke!
• The pool was a bit cold (it had not yet been "winter proofed"), the hot tub was a bit shallow, and to get to both you had to go thru the busy lobby.

“Overall was a nice experience. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is tasty (Damons), and the bed was very comfortable. One letdown I had was the "free continental breakfast" is only free for one day (per a coupon you must present to get it). Otherwise it was a very nice place to stay at the price.”

• The room was spacious and clean, beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
• The room didn't have a mini fridge.

“Our stay was very enjoyable and the room and staff were beyond what we expected. Everything in the room worked well, very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was very clean and the facilities were very up to date. We definitely would stay there again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Saginaw. It was located in the vicinity of all the shopping and restaurants and conveniently located.”
