• Nothing very disappointing.
• The beds were uncomfortable, small rooms and washroom tub was yellow dirty, old elevators took forever hot tube was brown water, not appeasing to eyes.

“I hated this hotel was complete garbage absolutely not what you expect of a 3.5 star hotel. Hot tub was brown water, bed was hard and broken washroom looked like it had never been clean yellow tub and shower curtain, Elevators took forever just to go down 3 floors Hotel was at the complete end of the area we selected. Horrible stay.”

• The rooms were fairly comfortable.
• The staff were rude and unreliable and the food wasn't that good for how expensive it was.

“I don't plan on staying there again. Three different people were served before us even though they all had come in after we did. My experience at this Radisson location was unbearable to say the least.”

• Excellent location to the city, as good or better than we expected.
• Bathrooms are really small, and we were undecided about the sleep number beds.

“Excellent value for this hotel, quiet location, easy and quick to get to downtown. Pool was great, parking was ample. Bathrooms are small, but we were very pleased overall.”

“I understand that portions of the hotel are being renovated; however, that does not excuse the lack of cleaning in our room (filthy windows and toilet, hair in shower) or public spaces (the hall carpets were dirty when we arrived and still in the same condition when we left two days later).”

• Reasonably priced breakfast/great sleep number bed.
• Room decor/appliances needs to be updated.

“This was a conveniently located, very large hotel for the business or leisure traveler to Pittsburgh. The staff is really nice and helpful - we had a hurricane which knocked out our power and they came around room to room with flashlights! The breakfasts are inexpensive and were more than adequate for quality and quantity. Lots of free parking, good security. Close to shopping and inexpensive restaurants which helps the budget-minded traveler. The rooms are in need of updating one day - the decor is kind of old fashioned - old air conditioning units, etc. but it was clean, safe, and comfortable. If you are not the fussy type- you will be pleased. I loved trying the sleep number beds - that was the best part! Not quite a 3 star but better than most hotels for the price!”

“With one minor exception (shower head), the hotel was everything I expected. Staff was mostly friendly - a parking lot attendant was not so much. He was diverting traffic due to one parking lot being closed.”

• Asked for nonsmoking. There were no ashtrays, but the room had a very strong odor of stale tobacco.

“Overall, very nice place to stay. Staff at desk not as friendly as previous visits. Was given a room that had previously been a smoking room. Stale smoking odor was very strong. Very clean and comfortable. Liked the sleep number bed, breakfast buffet was very nice.”

• Hallways were not very clean, dishes left out for hours.

“Overall, not too bad. The dishes were left in the hallway outside a room a few doors down for almost an entire day. ugh! Lamp in room did not work. Had to call down to ask for a restaurant menu.”

• The event we attended was handled very well by this hotel.
• Availability of the shuttle service.

“We had terrible room maid service. The dinners in the hotel dinning room were terrible. The food was disappointing at best, service was all good, slow wrong orders, tasteless and cold. Breakfast buffets were excellent! The alternative pizza restaurant wasn't very good plus it was only open on the weekend. Traveling with a 2 yr old was awful because we were not informed that we needed to have a car seat to use taxies service. Wisconsin health department was notified and agrees that their pool was most likely the source.”

• Great indoor/outdoor pool.
• Carpets in corridors could be cleaner.

“We traveled to Pittsburgh to visit family in the South Hills. The hotel was very convenient to the Parkway and downtown. The pool was a great diversion for my 4 year old grandson. Rooms were comfortable. Front desk staff helpful and courteous. The only negative were dirty carpets in hallways. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Found dead flies in the ice from the Ice machine twice (when machine had ice). Most of the time I had to go to another floor to get ice. Room not cleaned very well. Person from a prior visit left makeup on pillow. Big 4 inch area. Old Coffee filter left in coffee maker. The Ice container was cracked inside so old water from a previous visitor who used it left it there and staff did not clean it.”

• It was far enough away from the city to fell like a vacation and close enough to go to my favorite night clubs.
• The sheets and floors were not as clean as I expected them to be. Staff was not as friendly as I would have liked.

• 2 pools, spa, sleep number beds.
• Noisy, overbooked, crowded. Pool was like an aquatic center - too crowded to enjoy.

“This was a disastrous hotel stay. It was half and half the hotel's and other guest's fault. When we first arrived, we were put in a smoking or former smoking room. I requested that we get another room, so they moved us to the top floor with a balcony. That was great customer service. The first night was fine. Our neighbors were having a 7 member gangsta party next door yelling and blasting the TV until 3am. We called security on them 3 times and they pretty much said that they really couldn't do anything about it. So we moved to another room. This room was quiet, but the beds were not sleep number beds and one of the beds had crumbs and other stuff on the sheets as they had obviously not been washed. A day later, someone above us had overflowed the tub and our closet had water leaking into it. Overall, this was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced and would not expect this from a 3-star hotel.”

• Comfortable bed, nice pool and workout area.
• Carpet throughout hotel is showing a lot of wear.

“Over all, for the price, we couldn't have done better. The beds were luxurious with sleep number mattresses, 6 pillows and plush, fluffy comforters. The pool and workout area was nice with and indoor and outdoor heated pool. We have stayed there many times now and have recommended it to others who have stayed there as well.”

• I ate the best pancakes of my life there. You have to order them because you will not see them at the buffet. They do not charge extra.
• The bathroom fixtures and door locks were old.

“The pool has a wall and you can swim under it to go from the indoor pool to the outdoor pool. kind of like the fish do at Sea world! The breakfast buffet was pricey but was so worth it. The waitress and chef were absolutely wonderful! The hotel price was good considering how close it was to the ball parks etc.”

• The hallways were hot and smelled of cigarette smoke.

“This is a very nice hotel near downtown Pittsburgh. Lots of families were staying there the weekend we did. Everything in our room was great. The staff was very helpful in providing great directions to the ballpark. The downer: The hallways smelled of stale cigarette smoke and they were also very hot.”

• I liked the quick access to highway and distance from downtown Pittsburgh.
• This trip was planned around the Pirate Game and swimming indoors. Until I found a diaper in the pool.

“Very busy lobby, nice looking hotel. Everyone there seemed happy with everything. I didn't like the late night running in the halls by teenagers. The diaper incident killed the trip just before I left the hotel with my 10 year old to go to the game. It left my wife, 7 year old and 4 year old with nothing to do. I personally found the diaper in the pool and told the lifeguard. She said thanks and removed it very quietly. This still bothers me.”

• It was clean, comfortable, and convenient for our purpose.
• The only issue we had was that the hot water wasn't HOT in the evening.

“We were in Pittsburgh to help friends who live in this area. It was a lovely hotel, but we didn't get to linger and enjoy any of amenities it had to offer. We were only in the hotel to shower and sleep. We're looking forward to our next visit and the opportunity to relax and enjoy this facility.”

• The available PC and printer in the business center.
• Parking lot construction made access difficult at times.

“The rooms were quiet and clean and everything in them worked. Location is great for access to major roads in Pittsburgh. The business center was accessible 24 hours, which was great because I don't have a laptop and I needed a computer. The thermostats in the room work quickly to adjust the temperature. I've stayed here three times and have enjoyed all my stays.”

• I would have rated it poorly, however they were very friendly, helpful & accommodating.
• Rugs upon entering the hotel were dirty & stained bad presentation.

“There was garbage left in our room upon arrival, the first day when we came back to the room we found dirty dishes still there & room had not been vacuumed. 2nd day they never came to the room to make the beds & clean up. Very disappointed. Breakfast food was terrible horrible taste & waitress wasn't very friendly, wouldn't eat there a 2nd time. Very disappointed.”

“The hotel was very nice - in its day. Unfortunately, its day was probably about 20 years ago. It is very convenient to Downtown Pittsburgh via I-279. The room was comfortable with a sleep number bed. Other parts of the hotel left a little to be desired, however. On more than one occasion, our room lost power during our two-night stay. Staying on the sixth floor, you can guess that it leaves a little to be desire. Also the hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool, but both were very dirty.”

• Pool attendant was friendly and helpful even though pool and hot tub had problems.
• Hotel location and pool not being repaired when indicated it would be. There was a problem with toilet running.

“Most staff was helpful and friendly. The sleep number bed was ok but I couldn't adjust mine for premium comfort. Breakfast selection was fair. Getting around Pittsburgh was a major problem at rush hour time.”

• The room was open and had great art.
• I didn't like the sleep number bed as much as I though I would.

“This is a very nice hotel with great accommodations. The only negative was the sleep number bed and for most that would be a luxury. I am just a picky sleeper. I would gladly stay there again.”
