• The hotels was very beautiful, inviting and comfortable. The breakfast was really good for the whole family. I loved the gazebo out by the pool.
• Our view outside of our room was a wall of vines. I guess it was built kind of into a hill.

“I would love to stay at this hotel again. The pool area was fantastic for the kids and for us adults to socialize while keeping an eye on them. The dining area was very clean and spacious. I have no formal complaints about the stay what so ever.”

“This Holiday Inn Express fully met my expectations. Room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly plus basic breakfast included. Easy to find - close to exit of highway.”

• Promptly responded to my request for extra waste basket when my child was sick overnight.
• Hallways dimly lit.

“Pretty decent overall. Rooms were large & spacious. Decor was a bit dated. The rooms themselves were clean. The hallways were the biggest turnoff, dimly lit & just didn't seem all that clean. Probably from the dated decor & lighting. The outdoor pool area & the indoor hot tub were very nice, clean & well kept. The free continental breakfast was a nice perk with a pretty decent selection & even some eggs & bacon. My daughter & I had a stomach virus the night we stayed & we called for extra wastebaskets to keep by the beds. The front desk had them sent right up & were very nice. Overall, I had a good stay.”

• Lots of space, separate living area and kitchen were all a plus.
• A little far from the airport for an airport hotel, but it was toward the city, so that was nice.

“The hotel was clean, fairly modern and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The rooms were big and inviting. My only complaint was that it was a bit further from the airport than most airport hotels, but since it was in our direction of travel, toward Pittsburgh, it was not an inconvenience. It was also easy to find.”

• Decent location with easy access to Parkway West.
• Services and staff not up to par.

“This stay was not as enjoyable as my last stay. I was assigned a room in which the high speed internet did not work. There was a mildew smell about the room near the bathroom. Toilet in this room frequently became clogged. One time when calling to request a plunge, someone from the hotel staff just handed me a plunger, I had to fix the problem myself. Ridiculous.”

• Can't walk to anyplace to eat.

“Great value, friendly accommodating staff. Good location, near shopping and dining, but you need a shuttle ride or a car to access it safely. Easy access to major roads I would stay here again.”

• The continental breakfast.
• The carpet in the walkways could have been a tad bit cleaner. Carpet in room was much better.

“Overall it was good. I would stay there again. The comforter didn't smell clean and that left questions about the rest of the hotel room.”

• The room was clean. It had a huge desk with free wireless internet.
• The shower was kind of moldy and the hallways smelled heavily like smoke.

“The room was nice. We stayed in a non-smoking room. The hallways smelled heavily of smoke, but our room did not. The breakfast bar in the morning was great, complete with waffles, eggs, the works. We would stay there again if ever in town.”

• The manager offered to pay my taxi after the shuttle was not available.
• Hard to find.

“This is a pleasant hotel around 7 miles from the airport. I found the staff extremely helpful and for that alone, would recommend the place.”

“Country Inn and Suites Pittsburgh is conveniently located near the airport. The staff was unfailingly pleasant and the continental breakfast went beyond the typical bagel and orange juice. The pool and lounge area looked quite inviting--wish we'd had more time to relax during our stay.”

“Hotel location, and staff, were SUPERB. The cleanliness was an issue. The hotel mixed smoking and non-smoking rooms on the same floor, a VERY stupid decision. The hallways reeked. The whole hotel stunk terribly. It was nauseating.”

• No fault of the hotel but there was a lot of road construction going all around it and thus difficult to get to the hotel.

• The rooms were spacious and bed/furniture was comfortable.
• Maids cleaned the room very poorly. Once the breakfast items were consumed, no replacements were offered.

“We found used tea bags in our coffee pot. The room had not been cleaned well. Bagels, condiments, etc. were emptied by other guests at breakfast, and the staff explained that there were no more of these items, so we would have to pick something else to eat. Construction made the hotel hard to get to, as well. Other than these inconveniences, the stay was good overall. The accommodations were comfortable and the staff helpful.”

• they were scrubbing the floors at noon on Saturday?

“Nicest staff ever, after checking into room, they even called to see if I was satisfied with the room! Something you don't see too often with a 2.5 star hotel. Very nice staff, priceline never mentioned once. Great location too. Also offered a shuttle service free anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel up until midnight”

“This hotel was great. I have stayed at Country Inns before and the quality is consistent. The location of the hotel struck me as a bit odd, but never the less, it was in a safe area, close to a convenience store as well.”

• Hallways and elevator carpet needed cleaning --BADLY!! Musty odor and dirty smell.
