• Location & Room.
• After waiting at the front desk to check in, we had to use our cell phone to call hotel to get their attention to check in.

“Great location in south side. Nice room. We just struggled to get checked in.”

• Jacuzzi in room in addition to the normal bathroom.

“This is a very nice solid place to stay. The rooms are slightly dated stylistically but are well maintained and clean. The lobby was very nice and the concealed parking lot was also handy. The best thing about this is location; anything you can want from upscale dining (cafe du jour) to a local coffee haunt (Beehive) and anything in between including used book stores, clubs, candy stores, bead stores, etc are within easy walking distance (7 blocks packed with neat stuff). Walk a little further and you're in a brand new mall.”

• The hotel was very easy to find.
• The pool had to be opened by an employee and the front desk employee wasnt there late night.

“The hotel has a great location with many bars and restaurants within walking distance. Clean hotel with friendly staff. Although not well staffed at night.”

• Breakfast buffet included; indoor pool; friendly staff; free internet.
• Slow drains in bathroom sink and tub; hair on shower wall (not ours!) Only 1 elevator worked.

“Nice value for the money; provided a comfortable place to sleep and relax. Offers a good environment for business travel as well as families. Breakfast included was a nice feature. Minor inconveniences (slow drains in bathroom; unclean shower on arrival; 1 elevator working the whole weekend) outweighed by helpful staff, room comfort, and ease of parking.”

• Shuttle in to the city not available at time we needed it.

• Shuttle service to city attractions-liked this one a lot even though it was easy to get in and out of Pittsburgh.
• Maid was very pleasant, but on 2 different days the room was not cleaned adequately.

“Good location for sightseeing, shuttle service great especially when kids are along- no parking problems- very nice staff friendly and helpful & good breakfast daily-view of city skyline.”

• The staff and room quality!
• If, anything at all it was a little out of our way to get too, but that is something I should have checked on better.

“Great place for a family. Nice pool and Jacuzzi. The kids loved it. Nice size rooms and very friendly staff. Great view of the city!”

“Fantastic hotel, a hidden gem. Less expensive than others, yet has all the amenities The room was large, clean and very comfortable. Easy walking distance to the south side activities. Parking is $9.00, but very well lit and fenced in. Abruzzi's Italian restaurant next door was also a wonderful experience, the owner/manager makes you feel right at home.”
