• Lovely, clean, well-located facility with a friendly and responsive staff.
• A hotel with such high standards should budget for better quality toilets.

“We received a rock-bottom, last-minute rate at the Radisson Plaza, Kalamazoo. Regardless, we were treated with all the respect and top quality service afforded guests who probably paid much more. All our room-related requests were perfectly fulfilled and we received a room with a splendid view without even asking. The Kalamazoo Radisson Plaza is modern-looking on the outside; clean, traditional and tastefully decorated on the inside. We'll never stay anywhere else when visiting Kalamazoo. And my wife--a frequent business traveler--is planning to switch her lodging allegiance from Marriott to Radisson wherever possible.”

• The look the shops.
• Needs to make sure there is coffee in the room.

• Convenient parking, comfortable room, excellent location for visit to brewery.
• Could've been bigger, but there's not much you can do about that.

“It was my second time in Kalamazoo and my second time staying at the Radisson. I probably wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kalamazoo. The location is convenient for me and the hotel is comfortable.”

• Staff was friendly.
• While my stay, a fire alarm was triggered, and the champagne was forgot.

“Nice location and facilities, but I had to ask twice for the bottle of champagne that was with the room to be delivered. I know it was a busy weekend, but the other guests that were not part of the tennis tournament were looked over. I was not impressed for the price that I paid. My romantic weekend was not so romantic after having to deal with the noise and rudeness of the other guest. Security was an issue that was not being addressed especially after a false fire alarm was pulled.”

• It was clean, the staff was friendly and effecient, the food was excellent!
• The only parking available was a parking structure which costs $5.00 per day and free on weekends.

“We enjoyed our stay at the Radisson. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The food preparation and efficiency of serving it was topnotch. We will definitely go back.”

• newly remodeled, very nice style, nice bathroom, clean
• food at the downstairs bar was not the best

“We enjoyed our stay, very clean and newly remodeled. If we would have had more time we could have shopped in the lobby plaza area. Nice upscale shopping. The location is close to the college, so it worked out perfectly for us.”

• Gorgeous glass hotel in the middle of and old but renewed city enviroment
• This hotel is well off all major roads and far off the interstate

“This hotel has a great look and feel about it. It is surrounded by a great home town city with old contemporary buidlings mixed with upscale new buildings. Close to shopping plaza, restaurants are very plentiful and the rooms were very clean and well kept. I would easily reccomend the Radisson in Kalamazoo”

• Noticed some areas needed to be cleaned in the hotel room.

“The staff was very friendly. Check in and check out was very convienient. Noticed a few areas in the hotel room that needed to be cleaned. Otherwise it was a great stay.”

• This hotel exceeded my expectations.

“This was a wonderful hotel. The facilties were extremely nice, the staff was friendly, and the food in the restaurants at the hotel was very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying the Kalamazoo area.”

• they upgraded our room to a jacuzzi suite for a nominal fee
• the pool was under renovation

“beautiful! the staff sent us chocolates and bath stuff when they found out it was our 10th anniversary. wonderful - loved it!!!!!!!!!!!”

• Friendly and courteous personnel
• We were not told the pool & fitness center were being renovated.

“I like three star hotels and assume I will be able to exercise and swim at these hotels. I was disappointed to have these facilities closed. The hotel was nice, clean and the employees helpful. We enjoyed our stay.”

“The hotel is located in downtown Kalamazoo central to many restaurants and attractions. The hotel is newly renovated with a grand lobby and many shops. The hotel has a decent fitness facility with ample equipment. The food at the attached restaurant, Burdick's, is good and the atmosphere is sports-like with large screen TV's.”
