• Nice pool, very good breakfast, cookies in the afternoon!
• A little difficult to locate, but once you find it, it is no problem to get to. Close to shopping, food, etc.

“Clean, quite, easy going facility. Very good breakfast - not too much, not too little - to start the day. Out of way location, but very close to shopping, restaurants, Bass Pro, ball parks, and I-70. Pool and hot tub were clean and well kept.”

• Friendly staff, breakfast, cleanliness.
• Not the best accounting experience.

“The hotel is great, staff is friendly. Bedding nice and clean; entire hotel smelt fresh. There were no pets or cigarette smells. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast.”

• Indoor pool.
• People smoking pot and management not doing anything.

“Nice hotel, over priced, had a problem with the pot smoking on our floor, and management not doing anything about it. Not ideal for small children. If you like getting high in a motel, this might be for you.”

• The staff were very helpful and friendly.
• The indoor pool water was cloudy, chemicals out of balance?

“All in all our stay was nice. The staff were very helpful. First room, assignment on non-smoking floor, was a room that had stale smell of smoke. We were changed promptly. We were satisfied with the change. I was glad, as the rooms were worth more than the price.”

• Nice rooms. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Will stay there again.
• A few small items didnt work in the room but nothing big.

“For what we spent this hotel surprised me. The staff was friendly the rooms were clean and they had free breakfast that exceeded our expectations. They were helpful with maps to the nearest restaurants and friendly upon a request for more towels. Nice clean pool that the kids loved. Would stay there again.”

• Friendly staff, accommodating to travelers.

“Clean, friendly staff, staff on first name basis with customers, large variety of breakfast foods which were hot, yummy and plentiful. Pool was warmer than most pools, hot tub to par. Quiet guests and respect for others noted during stay. Would stay again.”

• It was in Lee's Summit.
• The pool area made you feel like you were on display.

“This hotel, although fairly new, had a leak in the ceiling when it rained. Instead of offering us another room, they gave us an ice bucket. Not very good service in my view.”

• The breakfast bar was great.
• The front desk staff was not the greatest.

“The room, lobby, exercise room, and pool were very clean. The breakfast was awesome - totally stocked until the end. The woman in charge of that was fantastic and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back when we visit the Kansas city area again.”

• Noisy, sounded as if the kids running down the hall would collapse the roof in the reception area.

“Parking lot was very icy during my stay. Very noisy with kids playing ball in the corridors. No restaurants close by. Would not stay there again due to location but staff was helpful and friendly.”

• Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
• The hairdryer in our room broke.

“The room was excellent, very clean. My only complaint is the customer service we received when the hair dryer in our room broke. I had to argue with the front desk clerk in order to get another hairdryer. He wanted me to wait until 9:00 (two hours later) when his manager came in. He was not even willing to get one out of another empty room. After making a scene, I finally got the hairdryer but was very unimpressed with the poor customer service.”

• Location to Kaufman stadium.
• Price, although I think I paid a premium because of the NASCAR race.

“Clean and quiet hotel. Staff was friendly. Fit the needs for my trip which was a place to stay close to Kaufman Stadium.”

• The night staff was excellent and very helpful & friendly.
• We left our back door open and nobody noticed (including us).

“The night clerk met us with bottled water and pastries. She then helped us to our rooms. We had a very positive experience at this hotel.”

• The accommodations were comfortable and amenities nice.
• No jetted tub in our room.

“The holiday inn express was a good place to stay! Check in was quick and the staff friendly! My only concern was that I called ahead to reserve a king room with a jetted tub and was given one and upon turning on the light, the room was dirty! The staff was quick to give us another room which was nice, but there was no jetted tub! Otherwise, the stay was comfortable and accommodations were nice!”

• A little difficult to find (coming from the north on I-470).

“I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The hotel is conveniently located, especially once you find how to get there. Rooms were well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful.”

• I have never stayed at a hotel with more helpful and kind staff.
• The rooms just were not that crisp or clean. I would give it a c minus.

“The staff was wonderful. More than helpful and genuinely interested in how I was doing. The hotel sure needs a deep cleaning and paint and the workout equipment didn't work very well and the hot tub was tepid. I didn't even bathe since I was going home the next morning and the shower was not clean. I would not choose this hotel although my son didn't mind any of that stuff and just appreciated the staff. They even took his laundry and did it since he forgot clean shorts!”

• Awesome pillows and shower.
• Housekeeping woke me at 9am to change bedding--checkout time at 12pm.

“Loved the bathroom set up of the hotel, great towels and shower, & bed was very comfortable. Overall a nice place to stay, good safe location, not many restaurants right next to the hotel, but within 5 minute drives. Cold breakfast was good, good selection, plenty of options. Pool was tiny.”
